No doc link in the OP because that doc isn't available to everyone and no one told me how to make a copy of it last thread.
Do I "make a copy" or "add to my drive" or what?

Last weekend's thread:
-Hero machine stories on pastebin
-Alt verse Kid Cookie adventures
-Toxique got some attention

It was a short thread.

In other happening, The Lovely Ladybug continues to update with new pages to their expansion to issue #0 (OP pic is one of them) and Golden Girl's A-Z comic has been colored.

Also, September 5th is the deadline for submissions to the next issue of Premier Pulp (which is scheduled to come out in November).
That's in two days, so anyone who has something for them probably already knows their website, but I'll stick this link here anyway
premiercomics.tumblr.com/

And at the speed threads are dropping today on Sup Forums, this thread might also end up being a short one.

The page preceding OP.

Just waiting for someone to kick off this week's conversation.

It's a shame the acronym isn't /cov/ for "Sup Forumsverse". It would sync up well with Cove being the home base for the heroes.

"Sup Forumsverse" hasn't been in use for as long as "Sup Forums creations" has, so it isn't as recognizable.

Threads dropping off only an hour after last post on Sup Forums.

It's no good if no one posts.

Any fresh GG comic ideas lately? I got some time to draw this weekend probably.

Let me see if I can think on up on the spot.

I don't think Iris has ever been used in a comic.

Maybe something where Audrey is at school and Iris witnesses Audrey's chest getting caught on a door and it slamming behind her. Other students thing Audrey is a klutz.
A scene that parallels this with Golden Girl getting her boobs stuck on something or bumping into them accidentally that knocks a piece of lumber on top of a fleeing criminal.

It's hard coming up with anything good in a hurry in a thread that's dying fast between every post.

GG struggling to get into her costume, stumbling backwards out of wherever she's hiding to change, and accidentally punching out the bad guy when she loses her grip on the thing.

There's like 10 universes at this point, would be a bit misleading.

I don't know how fresh this one is

>>Villian is "The Svenghoul," a ripoff of Golden Age Dr Psycho and a shitty attempt at making a pun on Svenghali.
>>Panel One: Svenghoul springs out in front of a surprised Golden Gal. Narration Box: Golden Gal finds that big peril comes in small packages as she faces the Miniscule Mentalist, The Svenghoul!
>>Panel Two: Side view of Svenghoul locking eyes with Golden Gal as he makes magicky looking hand gestures. Svenghoul: I have you now Golden Gal! Once the weight of my mighty mind settles upon yours, no man can resist. What hope does a slip of a girl like you have?
>>Panel Three: Closeup of Svenghoul's eyes. Dialog: You feel sleepy and dizzy. You can't remember what you were doing. You can barely stand up straight. You can't remember to look away.
>>Panel Four: Shot of Golden Gal looking dazed. Dialog: What's going on? It's so hard to stay upright. I can't.. resist this...
>>Panel Five: Golden Gal is falling forwards directly onto Svenghoul, her giant tits bearing about to crush him. Golden Gal: ...weight Svenghoul: Wait, wait, stay standing! Don't... aaaahhh!
>>Panel Six: Golden Gal is lying on top of Svenghoul, her breasts smothering his face as he's struggling to get out. She is looking up, confused as to what just happened. Golden Gal: Huh, did I just doze off?

There was also some ideas from a couple weeks ago

>and after that GG carries around anti-hypno spray or something.
>GG spots SQ with swirly eyes again
>thinks to herself that she's lucky she caries the spray now
>uses it on her to no avail, SQ still is a slack-jawed zombie
>"Hahaha, anti-Hypnosis spray, Golden Girl? What are you, some kind of idiot? CLEARLY the mind control swirls in her eyes are blinking in technicolor, not black and white! As if anti-Hypnosis spray would work on a psionic trance!"

Probably more than 10, but probably less than 10 active separate settings.

The threads have been slow for months, but this is the slowest thread so far.

What is there to talk about? People get tired of spinning ideas into the ether. When was the last time the wiki was updated? Are any of these ideas aggregated somewhere? Things need to actually be created in a creation thread, when that doesn't happen people get discouraged.

>When was the last time the wiki was updated?
The other day.

I sometimes ask what should be added to the wiki, but no one ever answers that question.

I didn't manage to draw anything but atleast some ideas.

I was thinking about a possible nemesis for kid conrad, I thought about how the nemesis should be the opposit of the hero but in my opinion, for a hero the nemesis is the one they can't save, like with Magneto and Dr. X.

"the gifted" is basically a kid who was born with superpowers in a shitty family, his powers are still weak and mostly unnoticeable but grow stronger with time. He is a close friend of kid Conrad, kid conrad knows about his shitty life situation and tries to distract him with comics as Conrad knows he is just a kid and he can't do more, "the gifted" tries to like comics but everytime he goes home, he sees his reality.

As Conrad discovers the gifted powers, he tries to turn him into a hero, he helps the gifted to improve his powers and the gifted himself believes he could be one. Yet the situation at his home always makes him conflicted as what he really should do with his powers.

I get the feeling Sup Forumsnrad didn't have that great of a childhood either.

...

...

...

I want to develop the wrestling AU that was pitched. Briana grand champ, GG her biggest fan with SQ as a retired ex-wrestler, and all the /coc/ ladies as a Mika-esque theme wrestler.

The full set of the kings, I guess?

stupid fucking designs

I think they both suit each character according to their "genre". What's your objection?

Added them over a month ago.

the-conservatory.wikia.com/wiki/The_12_Demon_Kings

Though I probably should make that the picture at the top of the page.

I might revise Orange and Cyan. The perfect sphere aspect of Cyan fits with the characterization, but it's not very visually appealing, and I'm just not satisfied with how Orange ended up.

I always thought of The Devout Symphony as some kind of Biblical war machine made up of rings of flaming eyes with wings coming out of it at odd places.

Kind of like this, but with a shit load more wings.

Do we have any super rich characters with butlers who are like super beings in their profession?

I remember that. Fangirl Audrey is still a completely adorable concept.

I imagine her as the president of Briana's fan club with a framed picture of Briana with her on her shoulders in her room.

So do we agree that Ma'am would be her heel rival?

Yes. Ma'am as the heel, Briana as the "protagonist." What we really need to do is work in the rest of the crew to really make it a full league.

...

Is she the Undertaker character who never loses? As powerful as Briana is I don't think she could beat her.

She's the André the Giant character in the wrestling AU.

Operating on that, I assume Briana is Hulk Hogan with Ma'am as the rival Macho Man.

...

I have no idea.

If it's just a mishmash of characters from whatever settings we have, then some of the Supermoms would also work in it.

Star-Striker's persona would be so over-the-top all-American it would be hilarious.

Briana V Ma'am
Ladybug as a spunky newcomer
Colette as a seasoned wrestler
GG is Briana's #1 fan
Tats is the ridiculous over-the-top ringside announcer

>Audrey has her own home-made wrestling costume

given that Conrad is kinda of Sup Forums self insert character, I thought in his childhood there would be some mobbing at worst because he is a comic nerd.

I remember that as well. SQ's her mom in this universe, so instead of being a straight-up GG costume, it was going to be patterned more closely after SQ's. She had to let it out quite a bit after her growth spurt.

weekly bump

Bampo

Makes me think.

Erin really should have at least a few friends who are also couriers at the guild.
We've never written her really associating with any of them or what she does on her down time on the demon plans when not making deliveries.

I think there were some attempts to discuss the other couriers, but nobody was biting.

I remember there being something about where she was living being a city that looped in on itself so the sky in places was just more city.

I think it was something like that crescent moon space city from Treasure Planet.

The only one I can think of is the sky-ship captain who gets super anal about paperwork.

And that story has yet to actually take off.

They were heading to a plane with no ground below them, but nothing on where they were going in that plane or what is to be delivered.

...

Needs less plane and more Skies of Arcadia.

I love that game.

So there'd be floating islands in whatever place they're going to that lacks ground below them?

That Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier wasn't what it should have been will always upset me.

youtube.com/watch?v=Wuiia-BTFRI

Also another EXPLORE theme:
youtube.com/watch?v=MXYr4CJgjV4

The point of it being a plane was partially because all sorts of fantasy settings have already done "skyship" variants to death.

We could make the whole airplane ride to a plane with no ground the opening of the dream plane story.

>Boss Imp has a dangerous personal assignment for Erin
>Needs her to go to the dream plane and collect something from the dream archives there
>Erin has to navigate the world of dreams made real ruled over by the Amber and Indigo demon kings
>Thing she was sent to retrieve were old dreams of Boss Imp's parents to add to his legitimacy case

The dream plane being a realm that has no constants aside from something like a floating city shaped like an hourglass or two pyramids touching at the tips.

Who are these cuties? Just randos, or part of Erin's stories?

They're other Couriers.
If I remember, has a little bit of backstory. It was something like he's a big plant and his home world was becoming inhospitable to his species, so he's working for the Courier's Guild in order to get their assistance in finding a proper plane to plant his offspring and guarantee the continuation of his people.

I don't remember any of that.

well I figured out the powers of "the gifted", his powers are illusions, he can create illusions for others but not for himself, which means he can't escape in a fantasy world like other kids, he lacks imagination and can only see the things as they are, the illusions are made of peoples thoughts, hopes and fear, which he can control to some degree.

he unconciously used his powers on Conrad which made Conrad believe "the gifted" had more common superpowers like superstrength or he could move things around with his mind but it was all the representation of Conrads wish for the gifted to be a hero and have a better life.

The Supermoms could be on a wrestling team so they all fight together.

I just had a thought.

We have Alpha, the boy robot.
What if, sometime after he adapted to the "boy" (posing as human I mean) part of it, he attended a child's birthday party?

How excited would that kid be to find out there's a robot at their party? The kid would probably have all kinds of questions like "Can you fly/shoot lasers/lift cars" etc. and Alpha would say "My... dad says not until I'm older."

Like a local league?

Sure that could work. You could have the big stars who wrestle in stadiums and then the smaller local tournaments and stuff. GG trying to break into her local league using her mother's old costume sort of thing.

So the Supermoms are a local league in the wrestling AU.

I guess the Vixen Six would also be a local league of the heel variety.

Sounds fun as hell to be honest. Local showdowns in a big cage where colorfully dressed women beat the crap out of each other, with some professional scouts there to pick up any talent.

Makes me think they'd have a past history with Bri.

Nuclear Rex is probably the one who could give Bri and Sakthi a good fight.

Maybe she's the big pay-per-view event where the face and the heel have to team up.

I don't think Bri and Skathi VS Nuclear Rex would be much of a fight.

Bri and Nuclear Rex VS Sakthi... they might actually have a shot.

I assumed that Ma'am was the heel and Skathi was more of an Undertaker kind of character.

Oh, I was going under the notion that the Vixen Six were a league of heels.

Maybe they only really team up for big matches? Like the Vixen six are their team name but they also operate solo during the regular season. Which if that's the case then Briana needs a crew and crew name to fight them.

Bri's crew would be the Wastelanders or something then.

What role does Chicken Divine play in this AU then?

She's a sometimes member of Vixen Six, so most of the time she's a solo act?

Well, how does "real" wrestling work? Does this AU function like WWE or is it more like Japanese Zenjo wrestling since they're all female?

I have absolutely no idea.

How about a role call for the Wrestling AU:

Briana
Cassandra
Ma'am
Ladybug
Colette
Skathi
Golden Girl
The Supermoms
Vixen Six
Tats

If there's someone an user has in mind they can be added, Colby right now has nothing to do for example. Another question is what are the men doing in this AU?

The men hold up the round cards, doing announcer things, attend in the audience, coaching, personal trainers, pretty much anything that isn't them in the ring fighting.

Well, this has the potential to be our least active thread in a while.

But on the off chance it makes it through the night and is still up the next time I look at it, this is a reminder to future me to put some thought into the AC(oSF) bomb arc.

I had something on this before, but didn't put it in the pastebin yet, Archive dive.

It begins with the AC doing a patrol out in the ocean, they're still looking for the Bloom Queen and any new outbreaks. Treating those infected has been an uphill battle, but they've finally got a process down that involves a net casting robotic arm as the final phase of the treatment.

Jellybro has been especially fixated lately, his seriousness has the others concerned since it's so out of character for him. Usually he's in a daze most of the time, but he's alert, focused, almost obsessed since he believes the Bloom Queen is connected to whatever happened to him.

Belle has been more worried about what the ghost of Barron Waste told them, now there's someone else out there plotting something foul in all sense of the word.

Mid-patrol they get a call from Spearhead, the JC just sent them a heads up about some concerning occurrences that seem to be heading their way. There's apparently a new super group causing problems, they've yet to get a clear picture of any of them, but eye-witness accounts claim they were all wearing full body robotic looking suits and have different colored face plates.

they've been attacking other oil companies and now the JC believe they are targeting PresagiOil next?

Slick primary objective is profit, but he also has the secondary objective of capturing Bombastic so he can make more "bomblings". Somehow these crimes should work to also lure out Bombastic.

The description of the criminals matches Bomb's own appearance, so he would want to defeat them for personal reasons, meaning Slick knows he'll show up sooner or later.

Out of space.

Plan for the AC(oSF) to meet Bombastic before the Bomb-Squad arrives in town, mistake him for one of the bad guys, and end up in a situation where you think "heroes always fight the first time they meet" would happen.

Maybe Reef should be the guy to find him first.

I don't think I've been doing all that great of a job developing all the characters on the team.

I kinda figured something like the WWE, since I have no idea what Zenjo wrestling is like.

Zenjo is what R. Mika does, sort of like WWE but all-female and way more brutal.

A tag team of Briana and Cassandra is literally just Mika and Nadeshiko and I approve 100%

That does sound like a good fit, actually.

Here's some really shit characters I made ages ago

...

Looks like threads are still sinking fast on Sup Forums.

...

...

Where does Erin get her goth make up?

There's probably a place where she buys it.

We really should work on where she's living during her time on the demon planes, odds are she's not living at the guild.

Where do demons buy things at anyway?

There's a guild for deliveries, so they can't just be conjuring whatever the need with magic.

If Hank makes the cloaks, then he must get the materials from somewhere.

So either he hunts giant birds himself, or there's a giant bird farmer or giant bird catcher.

I think the cloaks are actually proper constructs, woven magic or something.

He makes them out of feathers of some sort though.

So they can't be things made by converting magic energy to matter, or at least not entirely.

...

I don't see it as having dorms available.

>science kid

a very smart yet weird child with an afro, he changed to a normal school eventhough he used to be in a university but because he wanted to have a normal childhood, he convinced his parents to change to a normal school. Being the weird kid, he did draw attention yet he failed to socialize with others, only Conrad the comic- nerd managed to be friends with science-kid, mainly because they both loved comic science and science kid liked how Conrad believed it could be possible and Conrad liked how science kid was smart enough, Conrad believed science kid could make it possible.
