Take it from a spic. Anglos want, nay, NEED, Mestizos to identify as Hispanics. This creates a buffer between outright anti-White thought and behavior and builds a bridge between Spanish culture (a European culture) to Anglo culture. There is admittedly work to promote the Europeaness of Hispanic culture with a noticeable amount of Mestizos but it not an impossibility.
Yes, there are disappointingly Hispanic-on-White crime and, yes, you could argue that these Hispanics are anti-White. I doubt, however that these spics are proud of having Spanish heritage in the context of its Europeaness. For them, its more about speaking a foreign language separating them from the Anglos. Despite these statistics, not all Hispanics are criminals (but admittedly disproportionately there are more Hispanic criminals compared to Whites). There are much more Hispanics who, although many may not be the Model Minority, aren't committing crimes. If you encourage these Hispanics to reject their Hispanic heritage they will identify more with their Indio roots and reject not only Anglo culture but also Spanish culture, and treat both culture as foreign and become hostile to them. There is already a fringe minority of Mesitzos who have these thoughts. The Mexica Movement is one such group. The Brown Berets is another one. Remember, they are the ones who were smashing white people's heads with bags of rocks at Donald Trump rallies. They are but a taste of what would happen when Mestizos reject their Hispanic heritage.
