Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I'm a habitual smoker (once or twice a day, give or take), but I agree with the idea that most of weed culture is contrived bullshit that's overdone at this point.
I smoke mostly because I have depression and I have little to no trust in the pharmaceutical companies in my country to prescribe me the drugs I need and not just give me what makes them the most money.
I compare smoking weed to drinking coffee; they're both relatively harmless from a mental and physical and mental health perspective, and they both help me get through my day to day.
You're always going to have degenerates who act like it's the end all be all and annoy the hell out of anyone who thinks otherwise, but that goes for just about everything that people enjoy.
I'm not saying everyone needs to be okay with legalizing weed, or even just decriminalizing it, I just want to be able to smoke in peace.

I smoke every night. It helps me stay out of hungry skeleton mode by giving me an appetite and helps me sleep. I only smoke after I've completed everything I needed to that day so I don't blow things off. People can call it degenerate but I'm using it responsibly so I don't care. At least I don't fap to traps or wear furry suits like half you fuckers do secretly. Stoner culture is totally degenerate though.

I know weed isn't the best option out there, that's for certain, but it's better than nothing at all. I've been smoking like this for 3 or 4 years now, and so far I've only had issues with it whenever I've tried to quit. I think that has to do with my mental health declining when left not medicated, and that would hold true if I was trying to quit taking prescribed anti-depressants anyway, so I don't see it as that big of an issue. It isn't like i'm wasting boatloads of money on it either, I'm holding a steady job and on my way to a four year college. I figure as long as it isn't taking over my life it's a non issue; if it's not broken don't fix it.

I don't really mind, if it makes them happy and it puts more effective and all around better weed out into circulation then I don't see it as being a problem. If they're being smug and annoying about it, then that's another story.

Well there are some cases of people undergoing a kind of weed induced schizophrenia after smoking, but that's only in people who were predisposed to schizophrenia anyway.
Don't know too much about LSD outside of MK Ultra stuff I've read about, but if you take a high enough dose it's definitely possible to cause some permanent damage.

I'd suggest that if it's at the point where it's affecting your day to day life then go see a professional. I know I said before that the pharmaceutical industry isn't too trustworthy, but I think that weed and LSD will only make your situation worse. Overpriced, partially effective drugs are better than none at all.

First of all, nice triple digits there. You can count on me to notice something like that. And I just wanted to congratulate you on your get.

Second of all, tasting your weed sounds like a waste of money. You have to inhale that stuff so that you can get the effects of it. Try a desktop vaporizer, or a portable one with convection, or a magic flight launch box. Much better for your lungs. And in my later points I will be going into the why, as in why people use marijuana.

Third point. Why do people use marijuana. It is because they are self-medicating something, it is rarely recreational or else they wouldn't be using it daily. It could be insomnia for some people, or it could be self-medicating depression, like if their dopamine levels are lower than normal for some reason then they can use this to medicate that temporarily, maybe to feel normal again.

Fourth and final point. There is nothing wrong with people using it. If it is someone close to you who is self-medicating mental health issues, try to get them to go to a talk therapist. These people do not need to be arrested. People medicating for back pain or insomnia, it doesn't hurt anyone and they don't need to be arrested. Recreational use is not going to be every single day probably, but again it hurts no one.

Fifth point. Don't self-medicate mental health issues with weed. You will become a loser and you will really be lacking motivation. Get talk therapy and if you are diligent then after that you won't even feel the need to self-medicate with weed.

Well you can't do many great intellectually tasked things when you are high, so that's the problem with fixing this problem with marijuana. It fixes the problem, but then you are really high right? Try talk therapy instead, the brain has neuroplasticity and you can really go far with just talk therapy.
