I speak english so there is no need to waste time on anything else.

fpbp my tea drinking friend

If Spanish was the worldwide lingua franca and if Mexico was a huge country you wouldn't speak two languages either. Language learning is primarily a result of circumstance rather than intelligence; even sub 70 IQ Africans can learn multiple languages before adulthood.

America will only speak English, sorry Pablo. Learn some decent English before you try to hop the border.

a wild mexican appeared!

Eggxactly ;)

99% of the people I've come across who speak Spanish and English speak English as though they were retarded niggers or 4 year olds. Not much difference there to be fair though. I'd rather be 100% capable with English, the most valuable language in the world to be fluent in, than have it second to anything else in my brain. Suck a dick, jealous beaner.

Bragging about your two years in Spanish class doesn't change the fact that you're an autist.

I don't know any language but english enough to be considered fluent, but i've studied mandarin, korean, and I started japanese recently but i'm thinking of skipping it and moving to urdu or another arabic tongue.

I have nothing else to do with my life so learning languages while I have the opporunity is the best thing I can do. I've also applied for the spaceX manned mars mission. I'm not hopeful but I have absolutely no family, and no life besides a dead end job, so it would be wonderful to be able to dedicate my life to learning what I need to learn to be able to help further the span of humanity's time in the universe. Grandiose ambitions are what get us all by, after all.

fpbp

much more efficient to use 1 language per 1k miles squared than 2 or three

this is one of the ways that eurotards expose their insecurities

don't ape them westernhemispherebro

no seas baboso, guey...

is there any need for me to speak another language?

i dont see the point unless i plan on immigrating to a country where english is not the official language, or at least not spoken by the majority of its citizens

In 20 years, universal translators will exist.

Also, any European language that isn't Spanish or Italian will be dead in 50 years.

France and Germany will be fully converted to Arabic by 2030.

I don't see how you can enjoy learning those languages user. Asian languages disgust me big time, and they're so hard. I thought Russian was difficult, Mandarin must be nightmare-mode.

But if you ever become fluent in those you could probably make big money working for the government or a private firm.

I was trapped in china for about 15 years. By which I mean stranded. When I was 12 I went there on a trip with my parents, some shit that's not really interesting happened and I ended up staying in china. So I was forced to learn the language. But since I was so young I didn't have a proper understanding of english so it was difficult for me to learn any of it, much less understand the difference in grammar structure and the fact it was a character based language.

But I learned, eventually, enough to get by. I got a job as an english tour guide, and led people around the less shiny areas of beijing, to food places, areas to buy tech and knockoffs, stuff like that. Got enough money and traveled to yianbian. I was aiming to make my way to SK to try to and get a job there to be able to fly back to the US, but it never happened. I stayed in yianbian and mostly had work as chinese to english, and worked with interpreters, mostly businessmen, who would translate the english into korean. It wasn't pretty and it didn't pay great. I did get to pick up enough hangul to get by though. Needless to say I spent a few more years there and then ended up returning to the states after I met a nice entrepreneur who put me to work as a guide around yianbian and eventually paid my ticket back to the USA. Now I work as a multilingual call center tech support guy. Pay is shit but the hours are awesome and I can even telecommute if I feel like it.

I've debated trying to go for government work, but I think that not having a degree might hinder me in that field, that and of course the fact my chinese and korean is pretty much on the level of a secondary school kid. So i've

I find the very prospect of languages as an existing entity fascinating. So it's less about fun and it just feels like it's my job to learn. Not that it's a chore or a drain on my energy, I do it of my own volition in my free time, but it's just such an overwhelming urge to understand this stuff.

>I was trapped in china for about 15 years. By which I mean stranded. When I was 12 I went there on a trip with my parents, some shit that's not really interesting happened and I ended up staying in china

but that is interesting

Bah cut off the second to last bit there.

It's not accurate, so i've been trying to keep up with my studies but urdu has taken over as my primary interest, mostly because of worldly events transpiring in the areas where urdu is commonly spoken.

That said, in regards to chinese and korean, I never learned to read or write, only speak, so that's another thing holding me back from applying as a government worker. Korean as a written language seems like it wouldn't be difficult for me to learn though so I think after I finish/get bored or urdu I might go back to it.

Learn one language at a time until you're fluent at it, no point in learning 3 or 4 at the same time and then not being able to speak it at all.

Ah yes all those famous literary works from Ecuador...

in 20 year we all be dead

>English
>Ebonics

Cool not a retard.

You learn a second language (English) as a necessity. We learn a second language as a novelty.

I agree, that's what i'm doing right now, trying to focus on one language at a time. I'm just not smart enough to really comprehend things all at once, so it takes an exceptionally long time for me to understand and study, but eventually if I just stay diligent things click in my head and I start to understand.
My parents left, that's it. I never learned why, as I never saw or heard from them again. I looked them up, tried to find a trail to them when I returned to the states but nothing came of it, i'm guessing they either died or something else.

I live in the USA.

I don't have to speak any other language.

Don't hate because you live in a fucked up place with all sorts of fucked up things going on around you and nobody understands each other.

I speak English and bad English.

Fight me IRL

Knowing more than one slows down word recall.
I have been learning a second language for a few years though

>Don Quijote
>2666
>La vida es sueño
Spanish literature outdoes English literature in a lot of fields

You can learn Spanish for Spanish dramas as well, or maybe you like their culture and want to visit one day.

I'm not saying that you should learn Spanish, learning it personally felt like a waste to me.

Why wouldn't you want to experience another culture though? Korea, Japan, China, Russia, Europe - there is a lot out there and unless you you can speak their language you will never really experience their culture.

I don't think being "smart" has nothing to do with learning a language, just gotta stick with it and watch a lot of News or other media (Anime, dramas, shows) in that language.

Knowing more than one language means you were born in a slave tier country and aren't worthy of respect.

English native
Bahasa fluent

I speak Spanish and two Native American languages Blackfeet and Cree.

OP

>hired a guy to dig 300 post holes and fill them with posts
>Two hours after they start everyone is speaking Spanish
>immediately fire them

I don't work in a kitchen
If you aren't speaking English, I've no reason to give a fuck about you

You're wasting your time, focus on one language until you're fluent in it and then pick up another. What you're doing is useless.

t. a person who speaks five languages

How's the casino business you fucking no liver alcoholic?

If you can't speak English at native level, you have slight retardation. Literally, the only relevant language. Chinese is fun for historical purposes, but my aforementioned statement stands.

Name one person that doesn't speak English worth talking to.

it doesn't matter if pajeet and pedro speak english at an elementary school level

Lol. im white as the drivin snow. I was born and raised in Northwest Montana. My babysitter was a blackfoot woman. I hunt and fish on First Nation land up in Canada and Cree wasn't hard picking up already knowingly blackfeet seeing as they are similar. So go eat a bag of dicks little girl

Chinese is literally one of the most important languages in the world senpai

Yes, you have to have a good verbal IQ to be fluent in multiple languages. It's certainly not for everyone.

Some people just have it out for others. Some sort of extreme form of banter.

How do people like you know five languages? I would love to learn new languages, yet I am always focused on learning other things.

English
French
Programming languages :^)

Yes, and I speak Chinese better than you, Mr. ABC pleb.

they are either a huge exception and they really do, or they're people with elementary school tier knowledge and some understanding of them (they may even know how to say a couple of phrases), therefore think they know the language

Anglo pride world wide

Nice dubs, or the languages that they know are very similar, share similar structures, etc.

I only need English what's retarded is wasting time learning shitskins language

or a well designed educational system. don't you have classes in other languages in the US?

We do. They are mostly French, Italian, and Spanish.

Ecuador it might help to know New Zealand is an island with no other language speaking group of importance for thousands of miles.

Without being able to interact with speakers of a language there's no point in learning it, and learning a language to consume other media is reduandant, with the abundance of translator programs and closed captioning.

English only usefull language

We do, and two classes are typically mandatory.

However they're useless because without using the language skills learned you forget about them before you even graduate.

The only actually useful languages in the world are English and Russian.

Anything else is filler.

>Proveme wrong.

Being able to speak another Romance Language if you already speak one doesn't really count.

It is like saying I know two languages, Ukrainian and Russian.

If you can speak Spanish and English that is a good bit more difficult.

Assuming you aren't counting tribal languages, I'm pretty sure more Amerifats are bilingual than Mexifarts.

That's a fair point, also - necessity/circumstance, as it was pointed out earlier. To think of it now, all of my Slovak colleagues know Czech; all of my Croatian colleagues know Serbian and Bosnian - and i'm talking full professional capacity to a fault

French, Spanish, and German.
At least at the school I went to.

This guy gets it

Yo puedo hablar un poquito espanol. Sin embargo no se sufficiente para tener conversaciones con beaners. espacialemente por ellos hablan demasiado rapido :(

*porque

>Canacuck proud to have to learn French to get anywhere in his country to appease a minority of faggots who won't integrate

eurockus should start learning arabic.
they just need to accept that in their lives.

You-o have-o to go back-o

that's all from high school spanish nigger

Arabic is the most disgusting language, and I've heard Hungarian sluts speak to me in their native tongue before. There is just nothing you can say in Arabic that sounds pleasing to the ears. It is a language made entirely of phlegm and throat noises

Does ASL count?

We're forcing globalists to learn our shit. Now if that ain't redpilled.

Enjoy your thread infested by burgers and britbongs. Your statement is true for Europe though.

Pretty damn sure it counts. Why are you learning this anyway?

Fpbp. Not only is there no need to lead another, but everything else sounds objectively worse

Most Russians don't even bother learning English, I'm surprised you know it

Inb4 swedish language matters at all

Or should I say arabic?

I study Japanese. I think there was a Japanese relative in my family tree somewhere, and if I squint I almost look Japanese. Would I be accepted in Japan?

hahahaha. savage

FPBP lad.
>The rest of the world has to learn our language because their native language isn't the most widely used

I know dude, it's just God's punishment since Europe has forgotten their faith, the true fight against the eternal enemy, all since the fiasco that was the 4th crusade.

We are a shithole, true, but we still have our big ass Jesus statue. God rewards hue land with lack of natural disasters, besides the ones we inflict in ourselves.

>language isn't the most widely used
Nice proxy, China.

(Spanish also has more native speakers)

>people ITT can't speak hebrew

Tres vrai, frere Mexicain...tous les chiens Anglos dans ce thread sont des imbéciles incapables d'apprendre une autre langue...

Notice the word widely. I know it isn't THE most used due to there being literal billions of subhuman chinks/poos/assorted other shitskins.

I'll never understand why people call french the romance language
it honestly sounds worse than slav shit

>ywn know what it feels like to not have to switch keyboard language every few minutes
FFFFFFFFFUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

As if being proud of knowing Spanish is good. It's basically Italian but with down syndrome. Hideous language.

Not many Russians will ever have any use of it, lol. But, yeah, even though it's taught in school, most russkies can't use it at all. It's a bit better in big cities like Moscow or Spb, especially with the youth.

took 3 years of german and a year of latin

fuck me if i can speak it.

UNE LEAF PUTAIN

That sounds annoying

I'm sorry to hear that, comrade. If its any consolation, French Canadians are forced to do the same and they fucking hate English. Just know that there are douchbag Frenchmen suffering the same way.

Parce que tu es on saloperie de paysan attardé de l'Alberta Kevin...tu pense que Nickelback est de la musique d'intellectuel...

if you speak less than 5 languages you should just kill yourself honestly

let me guess, you went to a government funded school and your neighbor is a mechanic or a cop? yeah thought so

Le Britbong moyen...

youtu.be/XbaV4cz9zPM

I wouldn't say retardation but I think everyone should try to learn another language. The fact of the matter is it is very difficult without living in that country and having conversations in that language daily with native speakers to learn a language l. Of course it is still possible to learn without this by private study, however it is far more difficult to become fluent this way.

>The fact of the matter is it is very difficult without living in that country and having conversations in that language daily with native speakers to learn a language

Je suis Québécois et je peux lire et écrire Anglais, Portugais, Italien, espagnole, Allemand et Serbe(Croate)...la vie de ma mere...

Tu es juste un gros Bubba stupide...

Fucking this

>implying a billlion chinks speaking a shit language makes it more important than the master race language of the Anglosphere
