Flashback! Because we sure as fuck need them more.

...

>we die a lot
And you get back from the dead five days after you're buried, shut up.

Person in front of Sinister is Deathbird, right?
Oh, and first appearance of Scott since Secret Wars.

>shitty hellfire club
That is not Aaron hellfire club

Hellfire Club is back!
Real kicker would be to see Kilgore being in charge.

Creed just thought of you, mugga.
Both lineups are shitty.
Hellfire brats sucked immensely. Noticed Aaron has EVIL KID SUPERVILLAIN fetish, seeing who is his Antichrist in Ghost Rider.

...

...

Sure I am kinda upset that Bunn is using his OC from the magneto solo as a member of the hellfire club, but lets just wait and see what he actually does with it, he has not disappoint me yet

Heh.

More apes for Cap to kill.

>dem Monet titties
What pornstar was traced?

...

this feels too much like a plot development that's going to go nowhere
am I too cynic?

Nah, you're right. You see plot point that screams to be used but we'll get some retarded evil corporation story. Uncanny Avengers is the best X-book, oh the irony.

Looks like Stryfe.

Makes more sense. Deathbird has boobs, too.
All those characters are used right now. I bet Roberto and Sam are behind Rachel for that New Avengers reference. I fully expect Stryfe to appear somewhere soon.

Havok too.

Is that actually Monet though? She was colored a lot darker through the rest of this issue. This chick looks a lot lighter. Not that it could be anyone else I guess.

Whose the chick left of Triton and the chick left of the Smiley Robots?

Everyone is light red in that page because of the bourdel-esque lightning

So would this be PTSD Monet after whomever was close to her died of Terrigan?

left of smiley is husk?

I will research high and low to find out

Actually, didn't we see one of the Hellfire brats alongside Sebastian Shaw at an evil rich people conference in the Thor book?

I guess that's the reason. I'm liking this run (sans Land), but the pace is way too slow.

Whatever happened to Banshee? Last we saw him he was kept in a tube in Avengers Mansion as they tried to cure him from the Horseman of Apocalypse brainwashing, then nothing.

Left of Smiley: Monet.
No idea who is left of Triton. Deathbird?
Still there. Brought up exactly zero times.

>Both lineups are shitty.
Just so you all know, the Juggernaut was originally going to be in this lineup alongside Black Tom Cassidy, but he wasn't allowed for some reason.

Elizabeth, for heaven's sake, eat something! You look like a twig.

Didn't Black Tom lose his powers in M-Day?

Got them back in New Excalibur.

No, it just stabilized his secondary mutation if it can be called that.

I'd say I hope he comes back soon since he rules but I don't think I want him back in the current comics.

Fuck Marvel.

Deadpool copy and shift?

Did he just cut and paste the head here? It looks so off.

Ist this some kind og orgie?

Why's warren ellis's moon knight wearing a magneto helmet?

What a fag, really.
He did.

dafuq is going on with Money. Isn't that shit her brother's thing?

She abaorved her brother

This is actually a decent cover, almost tricked me into thinking Acuna drew it.

Black Tom, huh? Juggernaut is lurking somewhere nearby, I hope.

> Swift - star-shaped rays are sprayed at the opponent

>this outfit

social justice types are going to be upset

sounds lewd

Thanks for the storytime OP

I hear Uncanny is the best of the current X-books, I have not kept up on it, is it good start to finish?

Also if you enjoyed Uncanny it could use a few more votes here

Noice.

Ah, the good old Land punch pose.

Don't think many writers outside Whor follow their plot tends.

FUCK

>the chick left of Triton
Pretty sure that's Polaris.

>Havok off to the side
>head slightly down
>visor

Death of X might be good?

Land may be an eh artist but damn that's a sexy cover.

I agree.

Blame that on Mags bein Mags

Visor's from Uncanny Avengers.

Yeah, the head piece and cloak is a dead give-away. He also used her in the last issue of the solo, so I guess he's going to reuse her at some point.
I'm not really looking forward to that though. I really like Lorna, but I didn't get the impression that he can write her all too well and David kind of made her his own in my eyes.

That's from the wacky future from UA. He didn't keep it in the normal timeline.

Really? All I can see is that the head is about 5 sizes too large and badly copy pasted onto the image.

What the fuck is going on at Marvel? Jesus Christ I don't even mind the new characters, I don't get mad about books I don't read going for different kinds of readers, but the overral quality of pretty much the whole line of books is abysmal, good writers like Lemire turn to shit when they touch Marvel, while over at DC even Lobdell is doing pretty good and Dogfucker managed to make me care about Baz.

He's still wearing it, logic be damned.

Not reading Land, who's the Club now?

>good writers like Lemire turn to shit when they touch Marvel
That's not how it worked for Lemire. Lemire has just always been really shit at teambooks. Doesn't help that X-Men is also a really continuity-heavy franchise that he had no clue about AND he was in a position where he had to somehow move the franchise forward in his book and he was following up on a really subpar run and had to keep some of those terrible plates spinning.
Oh and it was all on short-notice since he replaced Remender who just fucked off one day.

All things considered, Extraordinary turning out good would've been the miracle of the century.
And really, what's more annoying than that book being crap is that Lemire also gets to do the events now. He's terribly suited for it and he should not be in a position where he steers the franchise.

Either way:
>What the fuck is going on at Marvel?
All their good writers ran and the constant often-simultaneous events with the inevitable gimmick-ridden relaunches almost makes creating quality books impossible.
If editorial then ALSO comes at a writer with additional fucking demands because they woke up that morning, you might as well just quit or resign yourself to writing garbage.

Indeed. He has secreted his identity even more so he can dupe as Scott and remove Inhumans before Rightclops can return a hero.

>ywn read Godmender's X-Verse

Y liv

Has Bishop ever been a member of the Hellfire Club?

>Lemire has just always been really shit at teambooks.
His Justice League Dark was pretty good, Frankenstein and the agents of SHADE was flat out great, and that doesn't excuse his pisspoor Old Man Logan and Hawkeye. How did he manage to fuck Hawkeye up, when his GA was so great? You could say GA was all on Sorrentino, but then why does Old Man Logan stink?

Sebastian Shaw, Magneto, Black Tom Cassidy, M possessed by her mutant-eating brother, Briar Rayleigh (OC from the Magneto solo; human industrialist with a borderline insane Magneto fetish).

Really disappointing of course, since it's basically just another team that Magneto controls instead of the usual loose group of power hungry, villainous egomaniacs.

I mean even if M completely loses it, which she might, Briar is still too fucking loyal to Magneto.
In my eyes it would've taken at least one more real villain to balance the scales, to really nail that feeling of the volatile shark tank that the Hellfire club had way back in the day.

Nah.

As Magneto noted, they are allied out of a shared interest only so there is less reason to bother with political dance of the Hellfire Club. Maybe later some dude can show up as Black Queen and wear a cute corset with his muscles bulging out.

Yeah, I've heard Bishop before. Couldn't say who held that title though. Might've been Roberto's dad. Maybe he was Rook, though. But I'm pretty sure someone was Bishop once.
I don't think I've ever heard knight. And of course no pawn either.

Maddox could be all the pawns.

Maddox is the runaway priest dupe.
Madrox is the Multiple Man.

Yes, but that character was an evil rich person independent of being part of the Hellfire Club.

>His Justice League Dark was pretty good
No it wasn't.

>Black Tom
>Possessed M
>Dude OC

Where's the [What M isn't] Queen? OC's fine.

M is white queen.
They're actually offering Psylocke black queen, so it's not like there's a hidden member left or anything.

I think he asked about Bishop from the X-Men.

Also, I think Leland was one of the club's bishops back in the day.

>Those were simpler times

Merely subtextual instead of overt.

The issue is that Someday lacks an antagonist.

It's Sinister, my dude.
It's always Sinister.

DC isn't cool so writers who want to spread their name go to Marvel. They half-ass everything (with lazy editorial helping) because they're only using Marvel to grow their own brand for the real prize: an Image series that can be optioned for movie/TV cash.

>It was me, Erik!

>new villain named "Oliver Payne"

.
