Big Hero 6.

CORRECT ANSWER.

you cant make sequels to Zootopia or Inside Out. they're self contained movies. BH6 is a comic book movie, it surely deserves a sequel.

Neither

>make sequels to Zootopia or Inside Out. they're self contained movies.
You're retarded. Toy Story was self contained too. Most movies are and they can still have sequels. But BH6 fuckup ng sucked so why bother with a second one.

you're retarded, BH6 was badly written origin story, that's all.It will get tv series and then sequel.

Toy Story was about toys having toy problems, but Zootopia was all about "everyone's a little racist", you cant continue that in any form.

Not true. Both still have possible stories.
I mean they set up Riley's puberty button.
Zootopia has Nick and Judy becoming actual cops.
There are obviously stories that can go on from there.
Personally I'm more interested in Zootopias though.
No that's the theme of the plot of Zootopia. Zootopia in itself was about anthropomorphic animals getting by in Anthrocity. There are other stories that they could have the same as Toy Story had other stories after Woody learned that there's more to life than being top cop.

Zootopia. Inside out works best as this exploration of the human mind and growing up. The girl herself wasn't much of a character and most types of inner conflict were already explored in this movie. Being a kids film there's no way they'll tackle more mature subjects and themes so a sequel would most likely end up feeling like a rehashing at best and just flat out terrible at worst. The most I could see them doing with a IO sequel is maybe one of those different perspective movies where we see what it was from the parent's point of view and raising a child but that'd most likely suck too.

Zootopia on the other hand has a developed enough world and characters to warrant a sequel tackling other subjects. Exploring different parts of the city etc.

Big Hero 6 was pretty ass, but a sequel with a better story is welcome.

pun very intended

I'm not really sure where Inside Out can go aside from Riley hitting puberty or some big life altering event.

Zootopia is more of a setting where tons of stories can happen, so making a sequel would definitely be easier at least.

Both are deserving movies in the end.

Best answer

Zootopia

Inside out was weak. No villain, no real thread and boring graphic in her brain.

>No villain

I wonder what a villain would have looked like for Inside Out. I mean, the characters were abstract representations of human emotion, so it'd be hard to create an external force that could believably interact with the characters and be unquestionably malevolent while still maintaining the kid-approachable atmosphere. It's not like Osmosis Jones where you can just have the bad guy be a virus, you know?

They can create a characters that acts a villain but isn't evil. Fear, anger and disgust do almost nothing in the movie. Let them conspire to fight joy.

>you cant make sequels to Zootopia or Inside Out. they're self contained movies.
Toy Story was self-contained, and it got two. I'm not saying I want sequels to either of them, but it is theoretically possible.

It could work in an event where Riley is really wronged or goes through a really bad experience causing the other emotions to question Joy's role as....wait no that's basically just the first movie but with the emotions proactively rejecting Joy rather than happenstance ousting her from leadership and it kind of shits on the idea of her realizing she wasn't the leader in the first movie.
Maybe not an emotion but something in her mind is causing the issues.

She could have real mental issues but that would be too serious for a pixar movie.

>every film needs to have a villain
Stop.

Ellipses are three dots.

Neither, let them exist as their own good movies

Wait......what?

B-But muh smug fox

The cheetah the most bullied of the big cats.We should domesticate them.

>Not using commas here

Zootopia was basically a buddy cop movie. They can easily make a sequel where they solve a new case, especially considering how much of the world is yet to be explored. Hell, they could probably do a Zootopia weekly procedural cartoon on TV where smugfox and fugdabunny work together to solve different cases.

There isn't really anything to be done with Inside Out anymore. The movie ended just as Riley was about to hit puberty and you can't really portray the mind of a teen going through puberty accurately without going into PG-13 territory. The only way you could really do an Inside Out sequel is to focus on another person's emotions which defeats the purpose.

Zootopia takes place in a world entirely populated by animals so if nothing else, you could at least show more of their world outside of the city.

Soz,post more cheetahs.

I realize that this would be too dark and makes me sound edgy, but I sort of want to see an Inside Out film about the end of a person's life.

I've only seen Inside Out and I'm gonna say Zootopia.

>I'm more interested in Zootopias

i like InsideOut more than Zootopia, but it's story is finished while Zootopia has a lot of room for spinoffs

>deserves
I would like a Zootopia sequel, though.

The Fox, the whole Fox, and nothing but the Fox

...

Inside Out for sure. We don't need more furry garbage.

>muh furry scapegoat

Well Inside Out was shit while Zootopia was at least mediocre so gotta go with them.

Please, look at Pixar's direction with sequels.

Zootopia is based in a vastly unexplored metropolis, the sky's the limit there for more ideas

BH6 the film takes place in a future utopia city with no established crime problem. They really should have disbanded after dealing with the one supervillain ever.

Well also I hated how it tried to disguise "racism is bad" while also shoving it down kid's throats. I'm racist and I don't fucking like that. I don't care what politically correct people say I think whites and Asians are the better races and don't care much for movies that try to throw that back in my face. Are you happy now? Knowing why I really hate that fucking movie?

That's an even worse reason than hating furries desu

I don't think racism is wrong, I think everyone should have equal opportunity but I also think that some races are better or worse at both mental and physical things than others and some races have traits I do not like. Doesn't mean I want to bring back jim crow laws or some shit but I don't like it when movies throw racism is inherently bad in my face. To hate is to be human. We all have things we hate and demonizing people for specific hates and not others is stupid bullshit.

you should stop.

>Zootopia on the other hand has a developed enough world and characters to warrant a sequel tackling other subjects. Exploring different parts of the city etc.

Still want to learn more about the apparent genocide of reptiles & avians in Zootopia's universe.

there's a tv show coming, new villains will pop up ssoon, and it wil establish a big bad for the sequel.

You mean "absence", not "genocide". Careful with that edge, son. You'll cut yourself.

The reptiles and birds were left out for good narrative reasons. Other than Mistermead's sudden OMG SNAKE AND CROC VORE swerve in a recent short story most people seem content to focus on the mammals, or maybe have some immigrants from/visit to one of the other continents in a future movie.

I like Inside Out more, but Zootopia has way more sequel potential. Inside Out would have the aged up factor that could be interesting, but honestly would just be awkward to tackle realistically while only covering the same exact themes as the last movie. Zootopia has a lot of potential meanwhile doing a completely different story with the same characters later in their years as police.

(You)
(You)

Yep, typical response, either anger or just dismissing what I say by labeling it as trolling or baiting.

Maybe if you stopped baiting so hard nobody would know you were baiting
Food for thought

Baiting baiters by calling their posts bait.

A full-blown sequel of Inside Out wouldn't work... I don't think there's really enough to form a whole second story.

But it's fucking perfect fodder for shorts. Imagine getting a little short about Riley and her family once a year or so, watching little scenes from her life as she grows up.

They could possibly make a good Disney XD cartoon series out of it.

Even there I don't think there's enough interesting ideas to make a series of it.

I think at the most there's maybe enough small, original ideas to make maybe a dozen shorts in the same vein as Riley's First Date, anything more than that I feel is pushing it
vimeo.com/152300938

Oh snap double dubs don't lie
Big Hero 6 was the start of an actual franchise and furries are worse than cancer
BH6 also pushed animation technology super hard and was rushed because Good Dinosaur was rescheduled twice.

Tv shows, comics, sequels, toys up the yimg yang are coming

I WANT A BUDDY COP MOVIE WITH THE FUZZY CRITTERS

Pixar pretty much played every possible card you could play with the concept Inside Out has, any kind of sequel would basically play out the same cliff notes
Zootopia on the other hand has a world to flesh out more

Am I the only one who thinks that if they do Zootopia sequels, they should have entirely new casts for each new location?

"Everyone is a little bit sexist"

Boom guve me 5 mil disney

I think Inside Out is undoubtedly the better movie but I feel like making a sequel would feel wrong. It works on its own and is a really fun world but a lot of the feelings about the ending are tied up in that idea that things will change in the future, but that the protagonists are now capable of change and learning and understanding. Future issues won't be the monumentally upsetting events that they were in the first film because we've grown past that in some incremental yet still profound way, and thus they're less significant and less worthy of a sequel.

Each Toy Story movie has cheapened the preceding ones by trying to develop further off of similar feelings- I love Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 but the franchise is growing weary. I am skeptical about Incredibles 2 for simila reasons. Not to mention, Inside Out has less room to grow than either of those franchises had in the first place.

Zootopia, on the other hand, has a vast and mostly unexplained world, and a fairly blank canvas of a concept ("animal cops") that is easy to riff off of in interesting and fun ways, and current societal issues are always pretty easy to incorporate in such a widely applicable metaphor.

I'd probably enjoy a Big Hero 6 sequel more than the original. I hate superhero origin stories and BH6 tried to be superhero + team origin all in one.

This is actually nice. I wish Toy Story stayed with just doing the shorts- they were fun and didn't feel forced. I'm worried about Toy Story 4.

Sort of like Planes did with the Cars universe? I'd be super okay with that.

>being a race realist
>not thinking that jews are the ultimate master race

what's the deal with Sup Forums?

I thought an Inside Out sequel was already in the works. I heard they might be introducing a new emotion too, but I'm not sure how they would retcon that into everybody's heads.

>introducing "feel"

I want an Inside Out sequel where Riley makes it to Minnesota and gets raped by somalians

that would generate nothing but porn, you sick furry freak

>thiny veiled furry creaming himself over the possibility of more female stereotype characters in zootopia

Nick and Judy need to fuck.

I dunno but I don't really care about some little girl and how she feels about the same mundane stuff she goes through.

They do have the vault of repressed memories. A villain could popped out of there.

I know you are trying to be sarcastic, but there are no signs that Disney wants to turn this movie into profitable franchise, otherwise shelves would be full of merchanise by now. It's sad, but true.

Planes 2 is super underrated

ummm a show is coming....

hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/big-hero-6-tv-series-872040

What would be the point?

Does a Zootopia sequel REALLY need to be about Nick and Judy?

Does Disney REALLY need to make any money off of it?

>you cant make sequels to Zootopia or Inside Out. they're self contained movies.
Nick and Judy are now officially partners in (fighting) crime and Riley just turned 12 and is starting to get noticed by boys.

I, for one, would love to see an IO sequel where Riley goes to the school dance and loses her virginity in a dirty bathroom stall.

Why don't they make a sequel the Inside Out 2 where the villain is a giant spider?

I remember when everybody thought Bing Bong was going to be the villain. Good times.

>Inside Out had no villain.
You didn't look hard enough, famicom.

>I'm gonna make Riley happy!
>EVEN IF IT MEANS GETTING RID OF THE REST OF YOU.

Man, Joy had the potential to be a really fucking dangerous villain.

Riley ain't no slut.

Who then? Clawhauser, sloth or that small fox with negro voice?

They already did two movies, one for themselves they loved and then one for audience they had to do because Disney.

Even if Moana flopped (not likely), Zootopia won academy award (for what? SJW bickering is not a social issue) and common audience was tired of marvel/star wars movies there's no chance for sequels.
It's like making a continuation to Snow White or Robin Hood.

It just won't work.

This actually sounds really interesting.

The Somalis here don't really rape that much, but they like to stab people.

>Starts with all the islands shutting down (not crumbling like with depression, just powering down and slowly fading away)
>The overall view outside starts to dim until it's pitch black outside
>In the control room, all the emotions are watching their human's last moments
>One by one, the emotions fade away, much like how they came into being
>Each one makes peace with their given attribute (Disgust, for example, may see their human catching their reflection in a bedside mirror, and instead of commenting on how gross they look will simply smile and say "Yeah, we look pretty good." before fading out)
>Eventually, only the first emotion that came into being is left, and the viewscreen dims and the control room darkens as the remaining emotion is given one last moment alone with their host.

I'd say yes. A big reason Zootopia was so successful was because of its leads. Zootopia 2 could use some Nick focus though, with his struggle to adapt to his new lawful lifestyle. This time around, Judy could be the deuteragonist, as was originally envisioned.

Dude, that's beautiful.

>I, for one, would love to see an IO sequel where Riley goes to the school dance and loses her virginity in a dirty bathroom stall.

You forgot that this is disney. 100% anti risque

If IO gets a sequel, It'll become a low budget educational series teaching kids about puberty and peer pressure

And even with that concept avoiding sex all togehter, Disney wouldn't DARE touch it.

the original plot makes his fangirls moan.

>togehter

>you will never cum deep inside Riley after coercing her into giving up her virginity
>you will never completely ignore her afterwards, even though you told her that you love her
Feels dreadful man.

Too peaceful. Let's have a car crash scenario!

>Everything slows down inside the human's mind in the milliseconds during lethal impact
>The islands instantly crumble away and the memories violently jerk off the shelves and into the Memory Pit
>The screams of the various workers of the human's mind can be heard, but only briefly as the cacophony of noise is almost unnaturally snuffed out by the immediate darkness
>The emotions do not get a happy ending, each one poofs out of existence without any sort of ceremony
>The order of who goes first varies, but the last emotion to fade away is always Fear, whose final moments are at the console, pulling back whatever "emergency brake" levers he can find, his face frozen in terror

>that small fox with negro voice

>I, for one, would love to see an IO sequel where Riley goes to the school dance and loses her virginity in a dirty bathroom stall
This has already been addressed in varying degrees by the R34.
rule34hentai.net/post/view/181218#search=Riley_Andersen

oh he was funny, but that diaper comment made me cringe, too furry.

Inside out

But user Jews are the true masters

>Peer Pressure
>Riley is crushing on some guy who invites her to a house party while his parents are out of town.
>There will be drinking.
>Fear and Disgust butt heads. Fear lists a thousand things that could go wrong, Disgust, meanwhile, knows Riley will look like a straight edge loser if she doesn't go.
Not sure how the other emotions would be divided.
>Because of Disgust and Fear's bickering, Riley is late to the party.
>The guy she has a crush on is acting like a drunk idiot and pukes on her shoes.
>Crush negated, Disgust and Fear get her the fuck out.

Joy would be for it because it's a party, and parties are fun!

Sadness would be against it because if something goes wrong it'll be a total disaster and everyone will hate Riley and *cue sobbing*

Anger would be undecided but eventually be for it, partly because he tends to disagree with Fear but also because he'd be generally angry at the waffling about when they should just DO something.

Damn, Nanoha; that's one tushy for the pushy.

That sounds about right.

I'd watch that cartoon. IO is one of the few things I'd love to see "Very Special Episodes" for.
