Show does an anime parody

>show does an anime parody
>still drawn in the show's original style, but with bigger eyes or eye shines

...

ARE YOU ASKING FOR A CHALLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANGE?!?!

>Zoro
>not just Zoro, but timeskip Zoro

+1 for writer's homework done

more like one of the artists was a weeb

is marge rangiku?
i mean, shit, you don't cosplay as a character with huge tits and be flat yourself.

thats like doing power girl or elvira cosplay and having zero percent tits, it just is a slap in the fucking face.

It's nice to see an anime parody that doesn't just use Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, and Pokemon.

>see Maggie
Dammit.
So close.

>all that entry level shit

I guess they know their modern audience

That Grim looks based as fuck tho.

It's baffling how few parodies really get anime.

>MY EYES, THE GOOGLES, THEY DO NOTHING!
>INB4 people post shitty mexican fanart!

>implying "anime style" isn't the same overly simplified cartoonish design worldwide only with more expressive eyes

For fucks sake, there's even interviews of old mangakas and the like going over how exactly that's all they did, how drawing super simple but with bigger eyes made them all the esy money.

What's there to "get" about anime?

>anime parody
>has a "Character's dialogue isn't synced up with their mouth movement" joke
I'm not the biggest anime buff, but is this a real problem?
I see this fucking joke in damn near every anime parody.

>Weh MURRICANS
>WE totally GET ANIMEYYSSSS

Bitches you couldnt even do more than Ben10 stuff at best and How to draw manga at worst, meanwhile in mexico.

Wouldn't that just be a result of dubbing?

>Mouth movements synced up with Japanese (usually)
>dub a different language over it
Many dubs have bad syncing with the mouth movements because the mouths are animated for Japanese, it's like watching dubbed foreign films

It's not as much of a problem these days but check out shit like the speed racer dub

...

>Timeskip
>Two Eyes

We got a bunch of kids editing shows for fun just to match up lip sync for all the dirty jokes they can put in yet some dubing company cant be bothered to speed up or slow down the frames to make it half way decent?

>Overlord.jpg

Tropes, cliches, recurring jokes and character types, etc.

There's plenty to parody, but most are rooted decades in the past, as if the writers have never watched any anime, just other similarly outdated anime parodies.

>Bleedman.jpg

>autismspeaks.jpg

The new stuff to parody in anime is all moe renditions of old, old old cliches in the first place.

I bet ANYTHING YOU WISH that these people NEVER experiences the following list of shows

Rose of Versailles
Candy Candy
Heidi
Remi (the 70s version)
ANY World Masterpiece Theater sans little women
Ninja Kamui
Takarajima

I think I've only seen this in an animated episode of Community.

But it was an American cartoon designed to sell toys.

>a ghost is behind Grim feeling him up

>Marge with hair down
The only good Marge.

Mandy looks a mix of Tezuka and Ishinomori.

It is in old dubs, but lipsyncing in anime is usually good.

>Ainz Ooal Gown invades cartoon network

>show does an anime parody
>it does this at least twice every episode
Go on, guess

Modern day simpsons needs to die already.

It's outlived its welcome.

The hell is the dog supposed to be?

The 50-60 year old writers only ever saw Speed Racer as a kid and that was enough for them.

Is it any of those horrible shows on Cartoon Network that are desperately (and succeeding, sadly) to appeal to kids and neckbeards?

Shenron, duh.

...

>anime parody
>everybody has an accent

I hate Bleach with all my might, but god damn, do I wanna fug shinigami Marge.

Also, mad pros to someone in the Simpsons staff that actually read/watched Attack on Titan

HEY! HEY!
LET'S GO!
KENKA SURU!

So?

I thought he said

"Kick assuru"

Honestly either works lol

Haku from spirited away i think

that anime was way too depressing

I swear to God there is a Macross song that goes
>RETS FIGHTING ROVE

>they even spoke Japanese
a for amazing

I would fucking jizz my pants if Pixar did a Rozen Maiden parody with Toy Story.

>mad pros to someone in the Simpsons staff that actually read/watched one of the biggest and most casual current anime

>MA KUR OS
>WIRR YOU RUV ME TOMORROW

>making a reference gag on a popular mainstream cartoon
>time to reference obscure anime most people have never heard of, completely ruining the joke for most of the world!

As if it's almost like it's supposed to be the same show....
