Amish: >swear off technology >only make a life by using 1750s tech >refuse modern medicine, mass agrocorp >no government assistance or help >no AC, no fridge, no cars >have 8 kids each, take care of every one of them
>standard of living 1,000x higher than Africans
Do the Amish prove white supremacy right?
Camden Gutierrez
They aren't growing fast enough to save white America.
Asher Ramirez
No autism either
Jacob Lopez
wtf i hate electricity now
Wyatt Robinson
Only if we won't be able to avoid a nuclear war or other doomsday scenarios.
Brayden Kelly
Am I wrong in believing there are still large social issues within their communities?
Obviously because of their secular nature, any studies are very difficult. However I'm sure I read alcoholism and drugs problems were on the rise?
Sebastian White
>only use 1750s tech
That's false. The elders (not females) can and do pick and choose which tech they use.
Tyler Hughes
only cause there's no vaccines ;)
Grayson Jackson
and they're swiss swiss master race
Michael Clark
Incest, lol. No, for serious, read it up.
Jacob Foster
Ever saw that Amish mafia show? They >have phone >have cars >have tractors >have generators
that I recall from the top of my mind
Logan Reed
No it's because they're all basicly autistic.
They are also huge abusers of welfare, run puppy mills, don't actually take care of their kids and are giant cucks.
Thankfully this election it looks like they might vote Republican.
Robert Anderson
no better than the north sentinelese people. outdated
Luis Jackson
>implying a reality tv show is real life
Andrew Turner
Not always true I live in a small town with a few thousand Amish people, they'll pay normal men $500 to impregnate their daughters in order to get fresh genes There's a catch tho >the father must watch >you must show no pleasure or emotion
Adam Stewart
>he think they built an entire community for the show
Isaiah Turner
Can the amish get drafted?
Mason Carter
Yes, but they don't have to be soldiers and usually settle for medics or something.
Jason Edwards
I've got a lot of Mennonites in my family, they claimed it was bs. Use to live the great amish life in Indiana before being shunned to Florida
Samuel Miller
I also live in Amish country, not true at all. In fact, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.
Sebastian Peterson
>he doesn't know the difference between Mennonites and the Amish
Daniel Fisher
yeah that don't make a whole lot of sense, the amish survive by sticking together so why would you want to have a single mother?
Jaxson Evans
Because they believe in communal raising of children.
Caleb Hughes
Well you must live in different Amish country Shitty Amish desu
Elijah Miller
As someone who lives near a ton of Amsih, they are much better than blacks. Of course it smells like shit because of the farms using fertilizer, but at least you know that means they are being productive rather than a shitty smelling black.
Robert Harris
I am descended from Amish, two generations away. My mom's parents were Amish. I was raised Mennonite.
Let me tell you from an insider's perspective, the Amish may look good on the outside, but on the inside they are just people like everyone else.
Child rape and molestation is a common thing, with it mostly going unreported, and a six week "Ban" (shunning) for the offender.
They also find the most creative ways they kind to get around their rules. It gets ridiculous. I could go on.
Cameron Reed
Im interested Please do
Jaxson Gutierrez
What is the best way for me to get an Amish bride?
Luis Miller
You know you can get conservative/christian women minus the crazy and the no shaving right?
Kayden Myers
I love the smell of manure in the morning. Is that weird?
Thomas Scott
No I was raised in a farm Its a nostalgic smell for me
Lincoln Anderson
That show is completely fake.
Breaking Amish is semi-realistic. A kid I grew up with, Sam, and A principle character in Season 2 of Breaking Amish, "Iva," were on the show, and I know them personally. They said situations are contrived. They are, however, descendants of Mennonites and Amish.
Also, worked in a rehab and a principle character from season 1 came in to detox from heroin. People recognized her and tormented her. She walked off after three days. We actually share the same last name so I'm sure we are related down the line. I still wonder what happened to her. I hope she's alright
Pic related. It's Sam and Iva
Christian Cruz
Mennonite girl is better, senpai. They let you use tech, but they're super conservative and don't wear make up and shit. Best of both worlds. That's my game plan.
Ayden Hill
I was raised Conservative Mennonite with Amish heritage. AMA
Nicholas Ortiz
you've never met an american woman, have you?
Jonathan Campbell
Most of them are just born again sluts pretending so they can get a good man. Mennonites and Mormons and shit are for real, for the most part.
Hudson Watson
>swear off technology First off, that's a lie. They sure like obsolete technology. Second, DROPPED.
Brayden Jenkins
How segregated is the community from the outside world and technology in general? How much does it vary from different amish communities?
Lucas Young
For instance. I was installing a hardware floor in an Amish house. They had car batteries hidden in bedroom closets connected to overhead lights. To me just ridiculous. Also, some sects do not allow land line telephones except for business. Yet people have cellphones because they are "not connected" to the grid physically. It's all about being "off the grid" yet ignorance abounds.
Levi Hughes
Would a Mennonite woman have problems with me owning firearms? I hear they are anti-2nd amendment.
Elijah Lee
No i cant say i have Only a girl from college that was half american raised in jewyork She was fucking nuts teased every guy in class Being an innocent rural kid adapting to urban life i actually thought she was into me at first
Colton Reyes
That's a solid 70% of American women.
Xavier White
Bullshit!
Chase Jones
Same brother, raised in a Mennonite family here as well straight out of Lancaster, had an Amish grandmother.
Nathaniel Gray
It all depends on the region and sect. They aren't necessarily Mennonites, but check out "Hutterites" who live in colonies, eat in community, and rarely leave their compounds.
The way I was raised was middle of the road. As I got older my parents became looser. Let me wear shorts. Got satellite television, got high speed Internet. I'm a nurse and work in several nursing homes. I'm very attached to the community..
I don't necessarily consider my beliefs Mennonite any more (I'm on /pol, for God's sake!) But yet I am very much culturally Mennonite. For instance, I've dated and lived with several girls from completely different backgrounds, and it just doesn't work. Mennonite women are based.
Nicholas Gray
Where do i sign up?
Oliver Flores
I was born in Holmes County, Ohio. Moved to PA at 5. Raised in Snyder County. Been to Lancaster numerous times, and of course have relatives there.
Used to be on a Prison Ministry team that when to Lancaster County Prison Once a month. We were taken directly in the bowels of the place. It's kinda scary!
Christian Jones
Oh shit I live in Lancaster too. Where do I go to meet Menonite qt3.14s?
Connor Nelson
Conservative Mennonite?
Austin Wright
do you actually know anything about amish communities?
I wouldn't really romanticize them. They are very isolating from the communities they move to, don't obey most laws due to "muh exemptions", extremely inbred, and are totally capitalizing on yuppies like you though.
Other than that nice folks I guess. I work in the greenhouse industry and they totally jew all the "normal" competitors by taking shitloads of cuttings on protected plants/not paying royalties on patents.
Jordan Martinez
by creeping outside LMH of course
Luis Howard
Blue Ball, Intercourse, Bird in Hand, etc. Avoid Lancaster City Unless you like VD
Ethan Hill
For the conservative values and preservation of culture seems top tier Could you go on a little about your religious beliefs ? I imagine Christian But what are the dogmas etc
Brandon Miller
Agreed. People are people
Leo Gomez
no, not really. neither of my parents consider themselves mennonites anymore. they got fed up with MCUSA
Jose Baker
>secular It's hard to be LESS secular than the Amish.
Lucas Collins
Im sorry for America I wish my country would go back to being close friends with yours just like back in the military government Also your cancerous feminism is infecting our society at full speed Universities are almost all lost
Nicholas Reed
>refuse modern medicine That isn't necessarily true, they don't believe in using modern medicine (or any medicine) for extremely minor shit like the common cold or a sore throat.
Carter Sanchez
Pacifism and Non-resistance is one of the biggest doctrines.
Baptism at an "age of accountability"
The conservative ones of many rules regarding dress, conduct, where you may and may not go, what color car you drive, not using birth control, and the list goes on.
I do value my heritage. Was raised with top tier work ethic and an ethic of "doing unto others" If I could choose my heritage I wouldn't change a thing.
Angel Bailey
I think thats common sense I dont either >trusting the pharmajew
Matthew Bell
For what reasons? I'm guessing perhaps their change in stances of homosexuality?
Jason Sullivan
Do they vote? Which party? Are they more present in southern areas? How big is the amish pop.?
Mason Rodriguez
Unfortunately their genetics are poor.
Luis Reyes
It's solid Anabaptist teachings mixed with unadulterated Protestant/Germanic work ethic. Absolute top tier for civilization building.
Benjamin Sullivan
>Germanics >poor genetics
Carson Green
yep that was mostly it
Jordan Kelly
Genetics tend to degenerate in a closed community, you know.
They do have methods to prevent this, but still.
Evan Nguyen
It's true. They come together in times of crisis like none other. For instance my brother in law tragically died over two years ago.
A large church donated their sanctuary for his viewings and funeral. Another church provided all of the food needed for the family plus the post funeral meal. Our church paid for his embalming, casket, burial, etc.
People literally came from as far as Honduras for his funeral. Over 1,000 people came through his viewings, and over 500 attended his funeral.
Just one example of the support the Mennonite community provides.
Asher Barnes
dey rassis as fuk, how come dey nevr show up black amish? dey just copy us, we did it first. WE WUZ AMISH N SHEIT.
Daniel Roberts
I figured. I'm conflicted on the issue. One of my best friends is gay and we shared an apartment for two years. We are all sinners. I feel we should accept and love them for who they are. Yet the Bible seems to clearly condemn them. It's tough.
Aaron Russell
I also live in Amish country. That's patently false.
Jeremiah James
Hemophilia runs rampant in the Amish community, as well as Cystic Fibrosis, for this very reason.
Some Amish communities swap their single men for another's single girls, to try to combat this.
Jackson Wilson
yeah its definitely, and understandably the worst division in the Mennonite church right now.
Parker Perez
The very conservative ones do not vote. Some will vote for community leaders, and local issues, but not national leaders, as they may have the power to start a war.
The mainstream ones do vote. They tend to vote Democrat. They also tend to be bleeding heart liberals.
The conservative ones who do vote as a general rule vote straight Republican. Such as my parents.
Andrew Rivera
My personal opinion is they should be accepted into a congregation for who they are, but if they are living an active gay lifestyle should not be put in positions of leadership.
Chase Ross
>says things without a source
Jackson Perry
yes, but they can conscientiously object
Mason Hill
Also, the conservative mennonites believe strong in a woman wearing a "head covering" based on 1 Corinthians 11.
Luke Scott
kill yourself.
William Brooks
I have several family members who did this during the Korean/Vietnam wars. One went to Korea after the war to help rebuild. Another worked in a hospital for vets. I have a great uncle who was a medic in World War 2, and refused to carry a weapon. He had been born and raised Amish.
Jacob Jones
This unfortunately may be the case in some instances, but it's definitely not a general rule.
Sebastian Thompson
No retard, they're Dutch lol.
Lucas Jenkins
Amish = Living better than 99% of everyone except for the elite capital owners and their direct administrators.
Completely independent and progressive, the society around them went backwards.
Austin Bailey
Amish generally do not have a problem with their members consuming alcohol per se. They are however against drunkeness.
As far as drugs go, there were some Amish teens in Lancaster County awhile ago running meth for the Pagans MC.
Amish are proof that the only thing of value is your race.
Sebastian Lee
Actually generally primarily German, with Swiss mixed in because they moved to Switzerland before jumping the pond due to religious persecution.
They do speak a dialect of "low German" known as Pennsylvania Dutch, Or just "dutch" but not in the sense that they came from the Netherlands
Adam Campbell
>completely independent
Nope.
>progressive
Incest and genetic disease are progressive I suppose.
Zachary Ross
No they're Germans from the Pfalz area.
Tyler Smith
They build their houses, they produce their own food, on what are they dependent on? I would say having everyone having a house is more progressive than the small % of house owners in the bourgeois capitalist world.
Justin Lopez
Amish also do not believe in taking photographs, or having photographs taken of themselves. They believe this is violating the 2nd Commandment of not making "graven images." They are very iconoclastic in this sense.
Camden Nguyen
Superior state checking in. I occasionally see some Amish at the bus station.
Aiden Jackson
Holmes County, Stark County, or Geauga County by any chance?
Liam Fisher
that's false. some do, however, try to diversify their genes by having the young adults travel to other amish communities to find partners.
Michael Williams
niggers can't do this.
Amish = Master Race
Carson Ross
Canton
Daniel Miller
How does one become Amish?
Jack Foster
As a gay myself, I don't understand why it requires you to do anything. Obviously you don't need to encourage the behaviour but I fail to see the logic in punishing it either. Isn't that God's prerogative?
Colton Reed
they can't shitpost on here, user. it's not worth it.
