Turks are with FSA and USA but against SDF/YPG.

>Failed coup in Turkey. >Turkey believes U.S. was behind it or supported it. >Putin saves Erdogan by providing intelligence. >Erdogan and Putin meet and reconcile, make a deal regarding Syria the terms of which are not fully known >Turkish army starts invading Syrian northern border to place FSA groups there and prevent the kurdish territories from linking up >Turkish army is actually a proper well funded army so it is fucking shit up >SDF/kurds seemingly left alone, even by their aerial overlords the U.S. >Syrian Civil Clusterfuck got even messier when nobody thought it was possible

We should send them our YPG supporters to support them in their fight on the reddit battlefield!

Nobody knows. Kurds spread rumors about Iran and Syria calling Turkey in. US first told Turkey to keep quiet but are now urging Kurds to obey Turkish commands and move back to the East of Euphrates river. Turkish "rebels" attacked IS and are now skirmishing with Kurda. Syria is screaming about violation of sovereignty but are in fact happy about Turks killing Kurds due to the incidents in Hasakah during the last week. Turkey is calling for a unified Syria and wants to remove any trace of Kurdish independence. IS retreated for the towns between Kurds and Turkish militia and are now laughing at them while they're fighting each other.

Lel only alt right fag and islamists hate sdf because "muh socialism". Roaches are already getting pushed hard by the sdf.
Michael Anderson
There were news about Turkish National Intelligence agency staff visiting both Iran and Assad a few days ago, so it's probably coordinated with them. It's beneficial for both pretty much. FSA gets pulled away from Aleppo to fight ISIS/SDF around Jarablus. Kurds/SDF won't get reinforcements if Turkey/FSA can block their corridor.
Jack Lewis
The thing is things are pretty unclear at the moment. We don´t know with whom Americans and Russians are going to ally with. With Turkey reconcialtion with Russia the whole game changed. And with Turkeys attack today on ISIL and YPG every resemblance of order was thrown out the window. Erdogan is flirting with Assad. Putin loves Erdogan now. Iran not so anymore. Erdogan seems to stop his support for the moderates in Aleppo, instead concentrating on northern Syrian border. And the Americans? Turkey Or YPG?
Things are pretty fucked up today. It is no wonder even /sg is in chaos right now. We had several double threads today, because of differing opinions concerining Kurds and stuff.
I think tomorrow everything will be a little bit clearer.

>Sectarian Daesh/#ISIS corpses at Jazirat Al Khalidya in ongoing Iraqi Army operation near #Ramadi
Why did ISIS abandon Jarabulus but fights in Ramadi? Is it too near the roach border? Did they fear to get encircled with the SDF in the south? Can we expect a massive IS offensive to prevent them from getting completely isolated in Syria & Iraq?
Evan Torres
"Generals" didn't exist back then. But we did hold nihilistic dance parties for certain occasions way back before then.

because they faced mighty turkish army instead of some kurds this time.

Since al-qiyyarah, an Assyrian town, was liberated, the ISF is now at the edge of the city of Mosul and preparations are ongoing to ensure the operation will be a success. Hopefully, the operation is soon, I would love to visit this city and view the ancient grandeur. Anyone else hyped on this?

They shorten the front line in face of overwhelming force from Turkey and hope Turkish troops and militants will fight against SDF, as they have already.
On the other hand, they're cut off at Ramadi.
Alexander Clark
Jesus fucking Christ I'm loving every second of this shit
>Rebels gather much of their best fighters for Aleppo >They make some gains, break the siege while losing thousands of battle hardened jihadists in the process >SAA take this opportunity to size Kinsiba back from the jihadists, East Ghouta pocket is steadily shrinking, Daraya pocket almost cut in half >Kurdshits start shit on Hasakah and think they are the upper shit because "HUR WE HAVE AMERICAN PLANES NAO" >Turkshit army decides to enter and take a ghost town while making it look like it was a hard battle (ISIS retreated from there a week ago) >US suddenly supports declared jihadists and is telling the kurds to back off from west Euphrates
Meanwhile >SAA reached and aggrement with the rebels in Daraya, some of them surrendered and want amnesty, some others want to be relocated in Aleppo, the city will be declared free soon >More and more jihadists are running away from South Aleppo front, SAA has repelled 6 attacks on Om Qara Hill, there are reports of jihadists in Aleppo saying they can't use the route in Ramouseh and are practically trapped again in the city.
This shit is getting intense...
Mason Bennett
They "captured" an abandoned city. And somehow managed to lose one fighter during this... Also: US backstabbed the Kurds.

Didnt half your amry surrender to a few civilians with sticks a few weeks ago? Turkroach army is a joke. They are going to get pushed hard by the sdf over the next few days.
Luis Clark
it was Turkey all along. We were rused

>achieved
ISIL abandoned Jalabus and southern villages a week ago. Turks "capture" them and celebrate their "achievements".
Aaron Price
why do people think we will annex that shtihole? last turkey wants some underdeveloped region full of islamist arabs and nationalist kurds.
Ayden Jones
There's only this one report about the surrender in Darraya, let's not jump onto conclusions. Head Roach said there will be no partitioning of Syria.
Jeremiah Edwards
...
Evan Mitchell
>"a couple weeks" More like yesterday. They had just defended Jarabulus from FSA
Nolan Martinez
It's funny how they are trying to pass it as a HUGE victory when it was abandoned by ISIS a week ago to relocate their soldiers in south Hasakah.
>"WE LIBERATED JARABLUS, WE GOOD GUYZ, FEAR US XD" >meet the SDF in Amarinah, south of Jarablus and engage in combat >retreat
Wow...so this is the power...of the Turkshit army?
Caleb Myers
Turkey is already full of islamist arabs and kurds so wont be much different.
Brody Powell

The majority left a week ago. A few remained to fool YPG and others. A bluff that did not work longer than a week apparantly.

Daraya to be handed to the Syrian Army following agreement
>Damascus, Syria (1:45 A.M.) – Calm reigned over the embattled city of Daraya in the previous day as a government envoy met a rebel envoy to negotiate terms of surrender in the Damascene city of Western Ghouta.
>The rebel envoy represented several Islamist factions with Islamic Matyrs Brigade being the most important. Following a few hours of debate in the early morning of Wednesday, an agreement was reached allowing for many militants to take up the amnesty offer given by the Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic whilst others would be transported to the Syrian north under supervision of international organizations.
>After the execution of the amnesty and relocation operations, the city will be announced liberated and all its roads will open for civil activity after five years of devastating war. Government services will be provided to the city as soon as possible to allow for swift return of its population and the rebuilding process to resume.
I don't know serbiabro, it's too detailed to be just a rumor, but lets hope is true.
Also
Kosovo is Serbia
Caleb Sanchez
Possibly true. I wonder if IS was tipped off about the Turkish intervention.
Kayden Martinez
im guessing we made deal with usa not toatack sdf, only intimidate ypg to retreat other side of euphrates, otherwise turkish army can fuck shit up
Robert Campbell
Because they weren't there since a week ago, they are pushing south of Hasakah you dumb roach, but yeah, keep celebrating a victory against ghosts while the SDF makes retreat your jihadists and old tanks like they did in Amarinah.

tldr summary of events:
-Kurds betrayed Assad "okay" at Hasakah, pillaged and cleansed Asyrrians and Coptics in the area. They thought all proxy parties were weak after infighting.
-CIA backed Gülen Crypto-Islamist Coup failed in Turkey, massive Anti-Americanism started seething, USA said "fuck it enough antagonizing Turks"
-Putin said OK to Turkey BTFO ISIS and YPG
-Obama said OK to BTFO ISIS and YPG withdrawing air cover for YPG kurds after their atrocities vs. christian Asyrrians (huge lobby in USA)
-Turkey needed to flex muscles after Army purged of Gülenist officers.
-Zekai Aksakalli the Lt. Gen. Hero of Failed Coup put in charge to enricle and create Green Zone in Jarablus.
-Turkey-Russia-USA-Iran finally agree on the need to buttfuck YPG before they carve up northern syria in an annex rush creating more problems and essentially benefiting ISIS tactical retreats.
ISIS suicide bombing of Gaziantep wedding last straw.
Turkey invades on 500th anniversary of huge Ottoman victory vs. Mamluks at Jarablus.
