Implying this wasn't magnitudes dumber than all the shit in season 7

>implying this wasn't magnitudes dumber than all the shit in season 7

what's not to understand?

DELET

''You've got a hole in your right wing''

So why didn't Stannis use this spooky thing to kill all of the leaders and take over?

Because "creating them drains his life force and he would die if he tried again".

because it died after it served its purpose and then stannis wanted to fuck mel some more but she said his fire burns too low and went to get gendry

Why didn't Stannis make one to kill the Night King and die in the process?

That's roughly when I stopped watching.

Season 1 was great but season 2 started to introduce a lot of just dumb and lazy writing.

because it was a horrible plot device

He probably didn't know about all that.
Stannis was dumb though, he should have used it to kill Tywin or something. Just as dumb as Arya using her three magic wishes to kill nobodies.

>we need to kill renly but we can't work out a way to do logically
>don't worry we'll just deus ex machina some shit
>wait a minute won't that magic shadow demon baby assassin completely destroy any idea of power struggles
>be cool if we had a brown woman say "bad pussy"

Shadowbaby is in the books

doesn't make it any better desu

so is the paragraph of shitting

martin is a two bit fantasy author that got lucky

>shadow looks like stannis
Wait, thoughout all the seasons I thought this was Briennes bullshit line to get out of trouble, lying to everyone. It actually IS supposed to be stannis.

Obviously, Cat saw it too.

Could this thing have killed the Night King?

kind of invalidates your whole point about them making it up on the spot to get out of a problem. Not my favorite part of the books, but was definitely an intentional move to start Brienne's arc, dunno why you're so butthurt about it.

>I need to kill renly but I can't work out a way to do it logically
>don't worry I'll just deus ex machina some shit
>wait a minute won't that magic shadow demon baby assassin completely destroy any idea of power struggles
>i should describe the food people eat for three pages

It's bad but there's no other way you can beat Renly. He's got the biggest army, everyone but Stannis is too busy to deal with him, and the Capital is already under siege without him being near it. It's either shadow Baby, or have him choke on a fish bone.

not my point friendo

At least Arya has the excuse of being a kid.

It's fun to pretend on the internet.

>everyone watches game of thrones

No

Fun fun in. Fun in the bum.

you've never read the books, or any book since school I imagine. No one cares about your opinion

He doesn't care about any of that. He just wants the throne.

I'm fine with the shadow baby as a plot device but the way they shot this scene was so anticlimactic and dull. also why does Brienne take the time to brutally kill those men after defeating them when they were there to guard Renly

No why didn't Stannis make each one of his soldiers fuck Melisandre, to assassinate whoever he wanted including soldiers and other rivals.
Yes, it could drain life force but he was willing to kill his daughter fully.

>Give morale to troops
>Don't need to drain your own life force
>Easily win war

Was he that retarded to not think of this?

Yeah I totally forgot how stupid that shit was. He can just conjure a shadow baby assassin to personally murder his brother?!?! At least the leeches thing was cooler and more vague the way he killed off the leeches for the remaining "Kings" in the war of 5 kings and they all died later on, however there's no direct evidence of the magic causing them to die. If all it needed was "king's" blood why couldnt Melly just fuck Gendry and make another shadow baby assassin?

Why didn't the eagles just fly Mordor to Frodo?

I think it is the neck at an angle, showing really how close the other arrow came to killing.

It requires kings blood. You can see melisandre try to seduce Jon telling him that fire or light cast shadows, implying she was trying to make another

Leeches killed 3, fucking gendry would only kill one

Why didn't Stannis make 100 babies, crown one of them everyday King and get Mellisandra to fuck the baby thus creating a Shadow army?

It proves the fire good exists.

Selyse only gave him stillborns

Then get rid of Selse and marry a tavern wench with birthing hips

>Leeches killed 3
Prove this, all of them were killed by people serving their own personal interests. So does R'hollor now have the power to remove people's free will and make them do things.

The shadow baby could have been used to personally murder Joffrey or Tyrion or Tywin before Stannis attacked King's Landing

>Thoros doesn't shit out a Sandor ghost

What a fucking waste of an opportunity

Arya would have never gotten out of Harrenhal without using the 3 names on fodder though.

So, the show will end with Jon banging Mel again and her summoning a shadow to fuck up the Night King?

It's going to end on dany being banged by the night king for all eternity

fun fact: got has always been an incredibly stupid show made by hacks, based on a hack's shitty books, it's just they struck gold with some legit great actors and manly characters that kind of overshadowed crappy stories and shit resolutions. also, tits and asses. notice how it went down the shitter when one by one died robert, ned, tywin, mance, stannis etc. and we're left with is stupid bitches and le i drink midget xd.

I'd rather see a glimpse of Carice than the dirtiest porn with Emilia.

Renly was a bigger threat

Hes too honorable. Even fucking melly was already bad enough for stannis

Think about it from a political point of view
A: Stannis didn't know his entire army was going to get BTFO by wildfire, had that not happened he would have handily taken kings landing
B: Renly was the only legitimate heir to the throne, most everyone had a good idea that Robert's kids weren't legitimate. He was also splitting the forces that House Baratheon could muster. It would be easy to conclude that merging armies post-assassination would occur.

Stannis would've sat on the iron throne if it wasn't for the Wildfire, he had the numbers and the support.
Thus Tyrion Lannister is the direct cause of his sister's continued rule. A bit funny really.

GRRM is a hack

old men die girls rule now lol xD
