How accurate is this?

How accurate is this?

very

>If it's in English it's bad
This is what third worlders actually believe

>Tarkovsky
>kino
>English

Really?

I am not of understanding, why is Dread fedora?

Dredd* My mistake.

At least 60% of every one of the major boards bar maybe Sup Forums and Sup Forums are made up of third worlders

And, unsuprisingly, they are the worst boards

>John Henry Timmis IV

...

i dont know, i had a great time watching most of those movies, in fact pretty nuch the only irredeemable trash on there is Boondock Saints, God bless America, Sucker Punch ( if you arnt just looking for jack off kino), and V for Vendetta which is probably the most quintessentially fedora item on that list if i had to choose.

I like liking stuff though.

This emphatically confirms Sup Forums is filled with a bunch of fat neckbeards wearing fedoras.

In Bruges, fuck me.

why the fuck do people put boring ass citizen kane up that high?

>important to the history of filmmaking doesnt = entertaining to watch.

because if that were true, birth of a nation and trip to the moon would be on there too.

The shining is legitimately my favorite so i cant be too mad

what are the major boards?

Sup Forums
Sup Forums
Sup Forums
Sup Forums
/fit/ (maybe?)
Sup Forums

i dont really know im just guessing, im usually on the most american board in Sup Forums besides here or /x/

Sup Forums confirmed for bunch of plebs

don't forget /o/ and Sup Forums

Every movie on that chart is great. You should just change the title to "Great Movies."

The only boards on this site that have ever mattered are Sup Forums, b/, Sup Forums, and Sup Forums.

There will be blood is the biggest meme movie of our time.

The master is 10x better

>ever mattered

What does this even mean?

It's funny because all Sup Forums talks about is capeshit, LOTR, and other mainstream Hollywood shlock

I have question, do they talk of series often? i've been lurking for the past month and so far the only series i've seen was GOT.

Replace /fit/ with /r9k/, every single Sup Forums board is basically /r9k/ + hobby/interest. People always make unrelated and pathetic 'kissless virgin' threads that constantly get 100+ replies

Sup Forums used to be hardcore federacore. Now it's actually dumber.

Right now GOT and r&m are dominating discussion here because they're the most popular shows on right now(they'll die down soon). The shows that Sup Forums mostly discusses are usually sopranos, mad men, and the wire. Sopranos threads are literally the only good threads here, perfect amount of serious discussion and humour

>Implying 90% of Sup Forums isn't capeshit and jacking of to shitty tv shows

>The shows that Sup Forums mostly discusses are usually sopranos, mad men, and the wire.

Dude, have you been in a coma for the past fucking year? Most of the users who watch television for adults have left.

I see, i wanted to make a Burn Notice thread, shit was my favorite growing up, but if it won't gain traction until GOT is over i'll postpone it

Also, I should have told you earlier, if you've been here less than a month you shouldn't even be posting at all.

Faggot.

But they listed what they considered to be "top films" user. "Entertaining to watch" =/= good.

And perhaps i should've been honest as to how long i was lurking.
barring that, do "old" series do well?

As a well respected kino connaisseur, I state:

10: Sin City, Pulp Fiction
9: Fight Club, Matrix
8: Scott Pilgrim, V for Vendetta, Seven, Drive

The rest is shit

have not seen those, what is my biggest missed masterpiece?

lawrence of arabia
tree of life
81/2
lost highway
harakiri
chungking express
satantango
gummo
once upon a time in anatolia
le samuraï
rosemary's baby

>gummo is deppressing but visually very interesting
>ranging bull is pretty cool especially since scorsese didnt know anything about boxing when making it
>if is kind of dreamy and appears to lose focus a lot because lol60samirite but still entertaining
>last of the mohicans is really good and normal compared to most on the list
>rosemarys baby does not hold up today, it sucks.
>got bored with le samourai but you might see why people like it i dont know
>rushmore is just og quirky

Id go with raging bull but i havnt seen a lot of the same ones that you havnt

>Friday Noon
Why are you here?

fixed

>what is my biggest missed masterpiece?
Lawrence of Arabia by far, it's one of the most beautiful films i've ever seen, O'Toole's performance is flawless.

is that hideo?

This doesn't even make sense in the slightest

...Boogie Nights?

Its not. Ignore the contrarianism

>Mononoke Hime
>Ghost in the Shell
>no End of Evangelion

At least Spirited "only anime I've ever seen" Away is absent

>"Entertaining to watch" =/= good
This kind of retardation is a big part of why this board is shit. Movies are meant to be entertaining. If they do what they're meant to, and make a lot of profit from doing that, how can it be bad? This is just a hipster contrarian board where anyone who isn't braindead gets called a brainlet fedora tipper from Reddit.

I miss when this site's favorite thing to laugh at was the people who were bigger losers than them and not semi-ironic cuckold porn and anything less than fascism

>river of fundament
>patrician

this list is 100x better than what Sup Forums would come up with now

I'm so glad that movie has fallen into semi-obscurity after being meme'd for so long. It was never that good

Very, but needs John Wicks and Fury Road. Also, Villenueve and Jake Gylleennmmeemer flicks.
