Whoever imposes severe punishment becomes repulsive to the people; while he who awards mild punishment becomes contemptible. But whoever imposes punishment as deserved becomes respectable.

I've only read Plato, Aristotle, Lucretius, Cicero, Nietzsche, kant, Sartre, Smith, Marx, and Mill, but Aristotle's virtue ethics in Nichomachean Ethics is my favorite.

Well that is easy, as a group is obviously William Luther Pierce, I wouldnt really call George Lincoln Rockwell a philosopher, so there isnt really any competition.

>Plato, Aristotle, Lucretius, Cicero,
>Diogenes

too classical, to depersonalized

>William Luther Pierce

not a philosopher more of a very eloquent activist. he was a phisician by education so he lacked some education in humanities, still a top lad

>Diogenes
>Australian
I believe it.

The greatest mind of human history

You cannot consider yourself truly educated unless you have spent time with his works and understood them.

Very good.

Move over, spooks.

Stephan "fuck your family" Molyneux. Watching him stumble around is kind of funny and i am in it for teh lulz.

Unironically, this.

Fuckin kek

Thanks

BEHOLD! A MAN!

>too classical, to depersonalized
That's what i like. Over-laying the general onto the specific. I'm just some stupid asshole though, so I'm probably doing it wrong.

Is this even a question ?

No Mollymeme yet? Dissappoint

>Over-laying the general onto the specific

very good summariazation of classical thinking but that is an anthithesis to the Faustian man/Occidental way of thinking which has more of a thinking "from individual to universal" like Nietzsche and Kierkegaard did.

Classical philosophy tends to oversimplyfy things and would be OK if you would be living forever (which means the indivual would not exist since we all would be The Being sort of).

He wasnt just an activist, the archive I linked above has over 600 audio clips including speeches and radio broadcasts.. but he also has much more written work that goes neglected, and he even started his own religion, cosmotheism.. it wasnt just a tax avoidance scheme, he was genuinely trying to set up a religion to be used by people in a thousand years from now.

Its doctrine pushes for the furthest state of evolution humans can achieve, suggesting that we are still evolving and it is our duty to strive for humanity to evolve into its strongest potential etc..

Pretty much a way of acknowledging white supremacy through religion, but also not accepting current whites as the best that humans can be, and striving to better even our DNA.

He was a philosopher, by the definition of the word.

>Philosophy (from Greek φιλοσοφία, philosophia, literally "love of wisdom"[1][2][3][4]) is the study of general and fundamental problems concerning matters such as existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language.

> the indivual would not exist since we all would be The Being sort of

Interesting analysis, and that may explain my affinity for elements of far eastern spirituality as well. I live a singular life of bodily toil, but I escape into an eternal/infinite philosophical inner world where my conceptions of truth are universal, and can only be pursued via earthly means, never attained.

Karl Marx.

no diss to Pierce, but the that is just new age philosophy of self-actualization with racialist ideas, absolutly nothing new or worthy to take serious

the best hing about Pierce is all out intelligence and beign able to think very analytically abotu social problems but he hasnt goen that deep into the matter like Greg Johnson of c-c did (GJ also ended up with some bs pseudo pagan ideas btw).

you are wrong in that regard, you are NOT a part of the Being (=one who has the "Sein" of which you only have a part of i.e. Jahwe - One who Is). FIND JESUS.

>no diss to Pierce, but the that is just new age philosophy of self-actualization with racialist ideas, absolutly nothing new or worthy to take serious

>You gave a vague cursory explanation of one concept regarding only his religion
>I fully understand cosmotheism and everything WLP has to offer, discarded

> you are wrong
I'm ok with being wrong. I'm just some dude, but I will say, you are aware that every single pocket of space in existence is filled end to end with electrically charged moving particles. The entire universe is a rippling 3 dimensional ocean of directed matter and energy, and my consciousness is just a highly organized micro-nodule in it.

Did you even know he was the editor for the party papers under George Lincoln Rockwell's American Nazi party.

Hard to pick just one.

I'd say Hayak is probably the most relevant today. I do love J.S. Mill's harm principle and his writings on the tyranny of the majority though.
