Nice
We have those tall white modern ones, but I'm not sure we have those old ones anymore. Norway had plenty of hydropower to drive turbines and mills which made more sense because of our mountainous landscape; therefore only a few windmills were built in our country and most had a short life span (and I don't think they've been preserved to this day).
I hate looking at Flevoland on a map, but this looks nice actually
Are those still used a lot in the USA?
its mostly used for decoration now
You see them all over the place out in the prairies. Even alongside massive wind turbine farms
looks nice though. I think it can't be more rural American than this
Location ?

I love these so much. i hope seeing a real one someday if I ever go to the USa
We have those too
Google says Penacova, so it's near me but I've never been. We have a bunch of them in roughly that sail format around Portugal, though..
Does that even work with those wooden blades?
