Episode 6 could have had a much better ending that could have made the writing less problematic. Instead of the night king aiming the ice javelin at Viserion he could have aimed it at Drogon and then Viserion swoops in front of it to block it sacrificing himself allowing Drogon to fly away. Thoughts?

>problematic
Fuck off back to tumblr

What the fuck are you even talking about, nerd?

>Calling people nerds on Sup Forums

That's what it is, isn't it? Or is "complete shit" the only correct way to put it?

There is a whole bunch of shit that could have been done to make this episode better. Shit, I could have filmed this episode better, and I'm not a fucking director or a writer.

Is the Night King a master strategist with a hidden source of knowledge? Or was just lucky that all the convenient stuff happened so he could get a dragon?

>Thoughts?
You need to go back.

He can disrupt Bran when he is "seeing" things. I'm guessing he can also see things. Like a Greenseer or something.

Wouldve been better if the lich king just tapped his spear on the frozen lake and a slow camera pan to the hole where vis fell and after some silence, like a bubble, claw, or some shit emerged from the water.

Probably the executive branch is fucking the show. It is not possible to write such awfull stuff

shut uuuuppppp

They should have killed Drogon instead of one of the dragons that have had 0 time to connect to the viewers.

It's more about Dany though. We're supposed to feel bad for her, not for the dragon.

Firstly cut out the Arya/Sansa nonsense. Save that for the finale and dont drag the shit out. No reason to make the characters look so fucking dumb. Now you have maybe 10 extra minutes to do other things with.
1. Bran should have warged into a raven and followed the Magnificent 7 beyond the wall. Bran is scouting for them.(he also should have mentioned that he is a warg to Jon. Bran would know that Jon knows what a warg is because he has killed one before. Bran would help them find a white walker scouting party.
2. Once there is a horde of wights about to trap them on that little island in the ice lake, Instead of having Gendry run 300+ miles back to the wall. Bran can Warg out, demand a maester to send a Raven to Dragonstone telling Dany that Jon is in danger. Much faster than Gendry sprinting to the wall and having a raven be sent out when he finally gets there. While that is happening Bran can warg into another Raven and start his flight back over to where they were.
3. Show a passage of time. Maybe show that a day or two has passed. Have a camera on a dolly slowly panning out as you see time the light get dimmer and the water freeze. Have someone mention they ran out of water and food. They think they're fucked. Same thing can play out. Hound accidentally revealing to the wights that the Ice is thick enough to walk on again.
4. Bran on his way back spots Benjin appears as if he is weaker. Bran tries to lead him to Jon's Location. That's when Benjin sees a 3 dragons overhead flying in the direction the raven is leading him to. He follows it.

5. The Night King is not standing there the whole time watching. You can have maybe a White Walker or 2 there, but the Night King himself isn't there yet. Dany Arrives to save the day. Ring of fire around the survivors. Everyone is relieved and people start to climb up on the Dragon. Jon looks at the Dragons, maybe thinking they really are beautiful as Dany says. He looks at Rhaegar and then looks Viserion who is perched on a cliff when suddenly the camera cuts to the Night King out of focus over the shoulder view aiming that Javelin right at Viserion and he chucks it right at its chest. It screeches, flaps its wings in a quick panic as it falls over into the ice, smashing it and sinks into the water slowly dying and drowns. Jon looks into the direction where it came from, he sees the Night King emerging from the narrow passage they came in from. They lock eyes for a moment, but then the Night King eyes dart toward Drogon, and another Javelin is about to be handed to him. Jon shouts for Dany to leave quickly. Jon gets mobbed but not pushed into the water. Dany hesitantly takes off without Jon.

6. Jon fights a horde of wights, The Night King is chucks his Javelin at Dany but misses. He looks back at Jon and watches as Jon is losing stamina fighting a bunch of wights. Thats when Benjin arrives to save Jon. He helps a wounded Jon onto his horse and he sits behind him. The Night King makes his way down through the horde, rips a bow and quiver off of two wights, aims it at Benjin and Jon and shoots. The Arrow hits Benjin but they escape. The ride back Benjin and Jon have a little emotional moment. Benjin explains to Jon that he is basically a corpse and is slowly dying due to the children of the forests magic is fading. Before he dies he lets Jon know how proud he is of him and how proud Ned would be of him. Benjin could either turn to dust and slowly blow away in the wind or breaks into glass like a white walker or he just dies and Jon brings his corpse through the wall where Dany and everyone are waiting for him. Maybe send his body back to winterfell to be buried in the crypt. Whatever, point is Benjin dies.

TL;DR My version makes more fucking sense.

It wouldve been cool if the Night King was on a peak on the way back and you see a spear hurled at Dragon and the group and Dragon evades but it still strikes Viserion.

That also would work. Anything is better than him ignoring an easy target like Drogon.

>associating words with specific, indisputable meanings with certain websites
you're the worst kind of autist, aren't you

In the books, the Night's King was originally the 3rd Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, and his name was "Brandon Stark".

That's the Night's King, not the Night King. Different people.

>implying there was a Wall and a Night's Watch before there was a Night King
lurk more

Wasnt the purpose of the wall/nights watch to keep the fuckers out? why would they have a nights watch or a wall to station them on if the original white walker didnt even exist yet.

they didn't, user is confusing the Night's King with the Night King. Pleb mistake.
