Mel Gibson

He's never starred in, written, or directed a bad film.

I respectfully disagree.

*He's never starred in, written, or directed a good film.

This was awful and you know it.

Patriot is horseshit.

always thought the original mad maxes were bad

The Beaver was unironically good
It depicts the madness that people go through but will not show in public. Would have been a really good movie if i wasn't for that shitty school essay arc and Jlaw fucking the movie up.

What Women want was comfy and it triggers feminists

He was still charismatic af like always, the man could make mowing a lawn entertaining

Braveheart

Lethal Weapon 3 was awful
Mad Max Thunderdome isn't good

Am I the only one massively letdown by Hacksaw Ridge? I thought Apocalypto was an absolute masterpiece, so I went in with very high expectations. It also didn't help that 4chin hyped the fuck out of it.

It felt like one of those shitty movies that the History channel craps out a couple of times a year.

hacksaw ridge was a pile of shit too. Effective shitpost though.

I liked the lethal weapon movies in my teens but I rewatched them like a year ago and they just seemed incredibly annoying with the dialogue.

Really liked The Beaver

He had a string of shitty movies in the early 90s.

Bird on a Wire
Air America
Lethal Weapon 3
Forever Young
Man without a Face

You have no sense of humour and you just don't like character interaction

>That cg smile
Gets me every time

I saw it in the theaters it definitely wasn't great but it was reasonably entertaining.

but the dialogue isn't supposed to be funny it's just nattering

It was pretty good t b h familia.

This. Hacksaw Ridge was a massive letdown after his other directorial efforts.

Nah, top comfy.

>Forever Young
>Man without a Face
>Shitty

What are you, twelve? I cried watching Man without a Face, it's a goddamn touching drama.

reminder that this was a better Max Payne movie than the Max Payne movie

GIMME BACK MY SON

You're an ISIS or Russian agent.

t. limey pinko

Or English

Not the same movie.

Oh right. I always confuse those two.

Apocalypto had bad sound mixing but somehow won an award for the sound. It was also kinda stupid.

Hacksaw Ridge story blew me away. Its better than most of the stuff he's worked on.

You'd kind of have to be a sick person to enjoy Apocalypto. You could tell he was losing his mind at that point.

Apocalypto is by far his best movie.

its pretty honest in its portrayal of americans committing war crimes even back then

>shooting officers

fucking dishonorable pigs

Hacksaw Ridge is pretty fucking awful.

apocalypto is awesome

you are fucking stupid

Ransom is unironically one of my favorite movies. That scene with Gibson and Sinese yelling at each other on the phone is amazing.

Where it took a wrong turn was making the British commit war crimes that the Nazi's actually did

>great director's cut
>great theatrical cut
>both radically different
how many times has this happened?

Featuring Based Gary Sinise in my personal favorite role of his.

How does the movie change? Make it closer to the book? More violence?

>fight in war
>wtf why did I get shot
lmao fucking britbongs

the man with no face was pretty shit

but i can see it being pretty based if your a pederast

so i guess its just perspective

I don't know of any. It's a truly unique example.

If you liked these movies, Edge Of Darkness is damn good

It's good, just not as good as Ransom and Payback.

Eh, it's way more generic. Payback's comfy and Ransom is a pretty good kidnapping thriller with a nice third act. Edge of Darkness is just "muh dead daughter" revenge story with a milktoast conspiracy to explain why she got killed. Very unmemorable.

Expendables 3 was not that good, but he was great on it

The bad thing was replacing the team with younger literally

I hope first scene of Expendables 4 is Clint Eastwood killing of them youngsters and Stallone being forced to call the old cunts again

>bad film.
The Expendables 3 was horrible.
Shit, I never realized he was main character in it.

lol

this
eat cock redditor

the max payne movie was trash, so it's not exactly a high bar to match

>grey new yorkish city
>guy with dark hair wears a leather coat

woah so max payne woah woah woah

unironically true
>getting into helen hunts cunt
>awful
no

it was good. source material was elite on its own.

even though they are nothing alike? pleb fuggurt.

*blocks your empire*

Thunderdome was great
Once it goes Beyond Thunderdome, it becomes Disney-approved garbage

This. Would have been a great movie if the whole thing took place in Bartertown.

Point Blank, the original film version, is great as well.

Less "Studio execs want nouveau-Lethal Weapon comedy", Porter is less of an anti-hero, tone generally more nihilistic and open-ended, completely different editing and look (the blue is gone, lots more contrast and visual depth), more punchy and concise.

Pleb.

Lethal Weapon 3 and 4 are garbage.

My ex-roommate is a hardcore feminist and that's her favorite movie.

4 was a lot better than 3.

>HUBBA HUBBA HUBBA
prime dominatrix lucy liu was a feast for my eyes

That sequel to the Daddy film he's starring in looks to be utter dogshit.
