Digging for info is trickier, but there's a shitton to get you started in the archive. Read all of the most important discoveries and follow the trail.

but memes aren't about knock out punches. It's about constant attacks from all angles, and whatever sticks sticks.
Spending a lot of time on a legit illustration, might not be worth your effort.
HOWEVER
if you want to make an awesome illustration I will throw it in photoshop and do everything I can to remix and rehash it to make 10 different templates out of it.
