The original was good and contained its atmosphere because it was nuanced, you had one man in a giant futuristic metropolis that amplified the loneliness and cutural incoherence of a man like deckard, he was just one man walking around a large world with a lot of well thought restraint on what we're allowed to see


This one seems like an epic Hollywood adventure about saving the world with classism themes or similar garbage ie 99% of big budget SciFi movies

The only movie I have seen where Leto is at least medicore is American Psycho and all he does in that is get killed.

Things aren't looking good

I was hyped after the first trailer and with every new trailer my interest in this movie decreases.
The detectives' job is to stop an evil villain from constructing a replicant army now? What is this? A James Bond movie?

Maybe this will be another Drive and the marketing is completely different than the actual movie.

I thought it was about a guy buying an robotic frog for his depressed wife and dealing with wanting to fuck robots.

Dislike it is "save the world" thing.

The director only makes pleb shit so don't expect anything more than a couple pretty shots.

The only decent movie he made was Sicario but even that turned into James Bond type garbage at the end.

Studios do what they need to do to fill seats. In Villeneuve I trust. Sicario and Prisoners trailers also looked more 'actiony' than the final products.
