I have an app where I write down the calorie count of each item I eat during the day and how much more I can eat to not go over my limit, it's quite useful, might be worth taking a look at.

It's some quirk in trademark law I remember reading about. Basically a company has to look as if they are always looking after their brand name or they risk losing it to the public domain. That's why McDonalds tried suing a small Scottish café called McDonald's, even though said café was open longer than the fast food industry existed. Like how Hoover became a generic term for vacuum cleaner here and in England when it used to be a brand name.
