I've seen Tag, Why Dont We Play In Hell and Tokyo Tribe and I thought they were all pretty alright. Gotta watch Love Exposure at some point.

Some effort are worth checking out like "Cold Fish", or "Love Exposure". The others are mediocre, & the lest are even worse.

Pick up the the reading material on "Tokyo Tribe". They screwed up on the process of adaptation. It's the different stuff, but has the same name.

Sion Sono is amazing. Love Exposure is 10/10, I also loved Why Don't You Play in Hell and Love and Peace. Tokyo Tribe was weird as hell didn't really finish it I guess if you don't know moonspeak it just don't cut the mustard.

Himizu is one of his weakest films. Still better than any trash Tetsuya Nakashima shat out though.

Tetsuya did 4 solid movies, but thats it, Sion Sono did like 6 or 7 great movies (even more, depends on opinion or how many movies did you watch from him)

Confessions is amazing, Kanako and Matsuko are great, Kamikaze Girls is meh and not worth seeing.

Sion Sono won't reach the quality of Confessions, ever really. He's too much of an edgemaster and got too much of a foot into anime storytelling.

His films feel like live action anime except they are better than most anime.
