Why was he so triggered about the card?
Why was he so triggered about the card?
Because he thought his card was really good but his coworkers liked the other guy's card better.
Because the entire point of the film is showing the shallowness of corporate people/yuppies. They all dress alike, look alike, act alike, even have business cards that look alike. So they try to differentiate themselves by focusing on minor details in a childish fashion (my haircut is better than his, my businesscard is better than his) the film is a satire about all these people (including Bateman) losing their identity because they're all the same (which is why they keep mistaking each other for someone else) and allows Bateman to get away will all those serial murders, because he simply doesn't exist.
The director made his character have similar hairstyles, clothes, and outwardly impeccable tastes to the other executives to the point that he can't really be distinguished by them. There is just this mask. The exchange of the cards scene is making fun of that.
He wasn't upset about it in real life. The whole movie was a dream.
Exactly, they even have the same corporate position of Vice President written on their business cards
>The whole movie was a dream.
Nah it's not a dream, it's a movie, which is like when someone has a dream on purpose. It's fiction.
He was more triggered by that 830 res at Dorsia
No, it's a dream.

Shit, I don't know.
God damn you, user. I forgot about that fucking movie. Is that movie the most pointless sequel ever?

This scene always confused me. Why would Batman kill the Joker? I thought Batman didn't kill. Was this supposed to be just after the death of Jason Todd? IMHO, this was the worst of the Dark Knight trilogy.
this
