The games had their share of (old fashioned) feminism, anti-racism etc.The books are fairly balanced (poor opressed elves who are actually just as evil as humans, strong independent women who desperately need a man and child to not go crazy). I don't, Sapkowski just isn't good at creating any characters that are supposed to last more than one book and more often than not he tries to make a stand when writing a woman. It has much more to do with his very narrow definition of a strong woman and urge to throw as much of them as possible than my supposed internalized mysogyny.

But sadly our movie industry is long dead. Horrible new actors, horrible new directors, horrible writers. It's beyond saving right now.
