An archive thread from yesterday here came up when I googled "krautchan down."
What is this guy talking about? What's the "paranoia"? What's the "trouble"? Who's "the guy" and what did he do?

I posted on whole bunch of chan sites but never went to KC. Is there anything apart from nat soc ambience of it that makes it more special than other chans?
>nat soc ambience
That was years ago and it was meant to be ironic/keep out newfriends. Then it became more like /r9k/. And now I guess it's dead.
I only ever go there because some of the same good posters from many years ago are still there and it's fun to interact with. Most posters there are boring and shitty though.

I thought it got killed like 3 times already
This was the last thread bernd ever had
You posted a screenshot of a post in a thread, where it all was explained. How about you just read the whole thread dude?
>if the guy's full dox are out there then I'd bet he's in a lot of trouble with the feds right now.
What is he even talking about?
Why would he be in trouble with "the feds" if the site was seized due to non-payment?
What's the big thing I'm missing?
I know it was offline a few months ago but I didn't get the full scoop on that either.
>if the site was seized due to non-payment
We don't know if that is the reason.
The WHOIS information of the Krautchan domain shows the personal data of one of Krautchan founders (thus he is doxxed now). The reason it is shown now is because the domain was seized and the whois proxy was dropped.
The WHOIS also lists "clientRenewProhibited" as the domain status (see pastebin.com
The meaning of that status is:
>It is an uncommon status that is usually enacted during legal disputes, non-payment, or when your domain is subject to deletion.
icann.org
So we conclude that a legal reason for Krautchan shutdown is very likely.
I quoted the wrong text, correct for "clientRenewProhibited" is:
>It is an uncommon status that is usually enacted during legal disputes or when your domain is subject to deletion.
This status does not contain the option of non-payment.
So what's the gander?
CP?
It is unknown yet.
Some speculation was about CP, others guessed it was related to KC's recent mention in a big newspaper where Bernds were involved in bullying a woman from the extreme-left scene.
spiegel.de
(full article and mention of Krautchan there is behind a paywall)
I dunno. That harassing stuff has happened before and was without consequences. Same as cheese pizza.
Shouldn't some info be obtainable via IRC? I personally don't use it because it's for circlejerking fags. But maybe someone wants to investigate.
Yesterday someones said they dont reply about it. But havent checked myself
Additional info: The reason why i dont check is because those irc fags are awful. As usual the people in charge are mostly inactive but instead the random idiot will make some lame trolling attempts talking bullshit to you
>others guessed it was related to KC's recent mention in a big newspaper where Bernds were involved in bullying a woman from the extreme-left scene
What an absurd reason to have a domain seized.
That would not be the actual reason. The speculation was, that it was related to it. Maybe the article sparked some interest of specific groups who wanted the site down and have access to legal consulting.
After all, some of the content frequently posted on Krautchan can be considered illegal/punishable by german law.
Kaycee was hosted in the US though.
I know. Maybe some smart lawyers found a way to still get at them? I'm entirely speculating
No one's even here.
tinychat com/room/kcint
It was CP. Several Bernds have had their PCs seized by authorities in various EU countries as well.

Lies
According to recent discussion on Ernstchan there is a possibility that it was a planned downtime and KC will return in a week or so
