Average winter temperature is around 10C (50F in retarded scale)

>average winter temperature is around 10C (50F in retarded scale)
>it's literally 28C (82F) during winter and we're burning alive
>B-But global warming is a hoax!!
Go fuck yourselves, we're going to kill the fucking planet if we keep this up.
Why are global warming deniers so retarded?

wat
it's mid august..

>American education

>AMERICAN
>EDUCATION

...

Same here

Nearly September and it's like 27 degrees every fucking day

Man made global warming is a SCAM and anybody who believes this garbage is a massive faggot.

seemed fucked up to me too, you think it's got something to do with this weird line?

dunno what you mean dude in this part of the Southern Hemisphere it's been a freezing late winter

>bitching about climate change
>simultaneously working on having the world's second largest rainforest

fuck off

>Wahhh the weather is toooo perfect

We're not going to kill the entire planet. Mostly just Africa, India and South America. My advice is to stop having children, because you're all going to starve.

You do realize the planet goes through natural cooling and heating cycles that have nothing to do with humans right? Volcanoes shit out many more times the CO2 than all of human civilization.

>i am inconvenienced by this weather!
>i am now warranted to complain about this weather
>who can i blame?
>fucking climate change deniers fuck you, i have to sweat because of you? fuck you!
>I AM REACTING!!!

0/10 no one cares and the only way to solve climate change, if true, would be to kill off 90% of the earths population. how do you like your odds, hue?

>82F
>Burning alive

Are you serious right now? That's not hot at all.

This.

kek
It's fucking brutal with humidity.

Weather isn't the same thing as climate you dumb monkey

It's been 35C all week here and I almost melted to death.

Fuck summer

>we're going to kill the fucking planet if we keep this up

nope, the planet will be just fine. This ball of dirt has seen far, faaar worse than a few degrees of temperature change.

Its people that will die.

>city people

cities are a breeding ground for ignorance and apathy.

>we're going to

You do realize that we're still coming out of the last Ice Age, don't you? Do you know that, when considering geologic time, it's actually unusual for the earth to have polar ice caps?

>82
>brutal

I kinda want to live wherever the fuck it is you live but I'm assuming the winters suck tremendously

>Muh humidity
Lmao come back when youve experienced boiling thunderstorms

Bad for the planet and bad for humans is not the same thing. If every human died tomorrow, the earth would be fine. It has been through warmer periods, cooler periods, and periods without any humans being present. Global warming, if severe enough, would result in extinction of humans. Which would benefit the planet.

Our summer's been shit and we've only had a few days where its been >25c.

nothing is going to happen to the world. Nothing.

Everything is fine. There is no global warming and climate change is a natural phenomenon.

It's just liberal bullshit to get you to buy fluorescent light bulbs. Liberals cant into the oil industry. Thus the reason why they are so gay for alternative energy.

huehue monkeys are so god damned stupid.

They see anything and come to Sup Forums to rant about it like a child.

>cold weather
its just a small cold snap

>warm weather
OMG GLOWBULL WARMING STOP ALL MODERN LIVING AT ONCE QUICK SAVE THE EARTH BECOME A MONKEY AGAIN

>implying I go outside any longer than 5 minutes at a time

Isn't BR hot as fuck all of the time? We yuros have to keep moving or else we'll freeze to death, thus we get things done. We don't enjoy the heat like a lazy black man.

Stop chopping down the rain forest, you hypocritical faggot.

Not in the south, no.
We're used to low temperatures but even our winters are becoming warmer and warmer each year.

>Global warming, if severe enough, would result in extinction of humans.

Nope.

"Global warming" can kill a lot of people through destroyed farmlands, but it's not going to be severe enough to kill off the entire human race.

Such an act would also kill just about every animal on the planet as well.

We humans have tools that help us survive hardships. Animals do not.

Go spew your "global warming will kill us all" crap somewhere else. You clearly have no idea what the fuck you're talking about.

Well, soon you're going to have a landscape like Africa. The niggers should blend well.

So people who live on the line have summer and winter at the same time?

>complaining about 82F
wew fucking lad. It's probably 100+ outside right now.

Pls no.

Hoax? Fuck no, it's how we kill brown people. Global warming, abortion, arms trafficking, and wars we are about to make your slums beach front property and hopefully wash half the residents with it. Same thing that will happen to Manhattan.

lol our summer is your winter.

Yes. It's called equatorial or tropical climate. Roughly the same temperature year round with pronounced wet and dry seasons.

They won't as long as people eat so much meat.

Except for Africa, the rest of the world is having a reasonable fertility rate atm.

We just have to educate those illiterate negros.

...

Oh, I'm not a warmist. There is no AGW warming problem. The fags like to say that CO2 has increased from 280 PPM to 400 PPM in the last 100 years or so. Implying that the 120 PPM increase was all caused by humans, when we actually contributed only about 5% of the increase, so we are not the cause. I was just pointing out that the earth doesn't give a fuck. Life adapts. In the past, there were times when atmospheric CO2 was well over 1,000 PPM, and life thrived.

And yet, their number increase geometrically. We need much more efficient shitskin population reduction methods.

All deniers can go and fuck themselves, we have not had a real winter in years. Just cold rain, it sucks

Like nearly all scientists? Why are you anti-science?

you fucking idiot, its WINTER IN BRAZIL, WINTER you idiot

do you not understand what hemispheres are?

jesus man...

do you retards not know the difference between local weather and global weather?

Its called global warming for a reason

How does it feel like being one of the few Americsharts that knows what's going on outside America?

I always think it's rediculous how ignorant Americans are, you must feel like living in a monkey cage.

>he thinks climate doesn't include local weather

It is weather that is separate from climate, meaning that in some areas it can be colder than previous years while the rest or most of the planet is heating up.

Its fucking annoying, especially with their retarded attitudes thinking they're redpilled because they believe some idiotic politician or red some article on breibart about muh climate hoax.

They think muh carbon tax is the reason climate change was made up, yet ignore the fact that scientists began bitching about global warming in the 70s after the model of Global cooling was examined again.

ALl of the sudden they say its just a political agenda when it took 30 years for the politicians to catch up on the warnings.

They deny its bad when the entire souther usa has experience its worst weather in recorded history over the last few years, with flooding getting worse every fucking year, yet those same people affected are retarded climate change denier conservatives.

Don't get me started on their understanding of american politics.

I am glad I live in Norway... Even if it get's hotter overall on average Norway will be reasonable. And we are a very mountainous area which shields us from most of the strong winds. People on the west coast on the other hand might barely be livable.

But America has a lot of flat areas. With the added tornado danger and extremely hot weather in places like texas and lots of dry spells near the deserts (like in california, nevada, utah +++) it is going to be huge changes in America eventually. Climate changes is no joke. You can almost see who is a climate scientist by the worried look when you go to a university.

People don't listen to science and the enviroment is politically unpopular. Always easy to lie a little and say it's nothing to get votes.

A tax rate of 100% would not have prevented those floods. Government at all levels already steals about $7 trillion a year, and it hasn't done a thing to change the weather. Neither would $7 trillion more. It is just another scheme to rob working people, and enrich people who are absolutely worthless and should be exterminated rather than subsidized.

>82F

I guess humidity is bad there?

cause its fucking 40C here consistently during the summer

>A tax rate of 100% would not have prevented those floods. Government at all levels already steals about $7 trillion a year, and it hasn't done a thing to change the weather. Neither would $7 trillion more. It is just another scheme to rob working people, and enrich people who are absolutely worthless and should be exterminated rather than subsidized.

Do you not understand why there is a carbon tax in the first place you fukcing mongoloid?

Its to dissuade the expansion of dirty energy industries.
You do realize that we have the technology and resources to harvest solar and geothermal energy to power the entire planet but the people you're defending (pertrodollar) control patents as well as resources and lobbying to stop it from happening.

I bet you think you're fukcing redpilled, and probably an alt right trump supporting idiot.

People like you who are too stupid or unable to critically think are the ones who should be exterminated.

>Winter in the southern hemisphere
>thinking that means anything

its still gonna be hot as fuck in the rainforest nigger

That's why you shouldn't elect republicans

>A tax rate of 100% would not have prevented those floods.

But a little investment could easily have prevented any damages. I am an engineer that do stuff like that. You can always guide the water somewhere it would do no damage.

And this winter in the north when we get hammered with a cold wet winter because it's an El Nino winter that's also global warming?

>FIRST POST; BURGER POST.

>doesn't understand climate or weather dynamics

>has an opinion on muh global warming
>american attitude
>typical

You're an idiot, the fucking op post is from southern Brazil where it isn't a rainforest, you think most people in brazil live in the rainforest?

Are you that fucking ignorant?

Holy fuck,

>huemonkey's dont live in the rainforest

man now I've heard it all

If people honestly believe this shit then why the fuck are they pushing for more government oversight? That's retarded

>we honestly believe that the earth's temp is raising on average thanks to man-made climate change
>therefore we have our government tax us to subsidize shitty technologies like solar, wind, and hydro that are all dependent upon local conditions to be perfect

I mean I have no trust in government to be efficient, but god damn you guys must be absolutely retarded. The government is subsidizing shitty techs that can't be scaled to the levels required to remove us from the teat of fossil fuels. The only energy method we currently have that can reduce our carbon emissions is nuclear. Nuclear power is the only shit we have that can generate the energy required to get us off of petrol

But hey, lets fund solar which only works on small scale endeavors and requires optimal conditions to be efficient

Yes, because it's "global climate changes" which is the scientific name. A warmer temperature on average means more extreme weather with much larger changes regarding hot and cold weather. It is just hotter and hotter and hotter on average. the warm days will be extremely warm and more common and the rains will be much heavier due to much more evaporated water and the "temperature gradient" (differences in temperature) means much stronger winds. So evaporated water might move quickly to cold areas and completely snow down areas and that will at the same time reflect the sun and make the area even colder than it otherwise would be. (but due to the greenhouse effect the reflected sun will heat up the atmosphere even more than it otherwise would and other parts of the world will get much warmer because of it which will make even stronger winds and so on and so forth)

Also this isn't even talking about the fact that the climate change proponents have been fraudulently reporting their data to the scientific community. I used to be a big believer in climate change until I got far enough in my mathematics degree that I took a legit probability/statistics course.

Fucking indolent masses I swear to god

most of they don't you fucking idiot.

They mostly live on the coast of brazil, where all the massive cities are.,

The only big city in the rainforest in Manau.

Look at a fucking map you ignorant idiot.

>But hey, lets fund solar which only works on small scale endeavors and requires optimal conditions to be efficient

HEY I found another ignorant retarded american.

Solar would literally power the entire planet. and it doesn't requite muh optimal conditions. You do realize solar radiation penetrates clouds right?

Also even if the solar fields had down time because inclement conditions the energy collected in the times that theyre up would be enough to power the entire fucking country.

Once again, it is the petrodollar companies and conglomerates that have bought solar patents, stopped resources and augmented the fucking martket on them from stopping it from replacing oil and coal.
Modern solar technology is 95% efficient.

You're ignorant as fuck and you're redpilled compared to the "indolent" masses.

You're the one who believes the bullshit that politicians who's campaigns are funded by the oil companies spew.

you think you're redpilled i meant.

Batteries are not efficient enough for the massive solar farms that would "literally power the entire planet"

Transportation of energy isn't as easy as you think you fucking retard.

Also you're a fucking retard if you think a solar panel in Alaska would produce the same amount of energy as a solar panel on the equator

>we're going to kill the fucking planet if we keep this up.

Correct
That is the end game

you win a Zikka virus carrier mosquito

>until I got far enough in my mathematics degree that I took a legit probability/statistics course.

Then you should know that climate change is different from other sciences because usually scientists use a p-value of 0.05, while climate scientists use a p-value of 0.01.

They use a statistical significance of 99% to decide if the data is significant while regular science use 95%. This is because there is a lot more demand on the evidence.

This is why only about 15 out of 2000 written papers say that global climate changes is NOT man made. If it was a normal science then it would be 100 out of 2000.

>Curitiba
You reap what you sow.

FUCK,forgot pic

By educate do you mean cease aid to?

You're a fucking retard tht doesn't understand how much fucking energy the sun blasts on the earth surface.

A fucking field in the middle of the usa would power the entire country, not needing any fucking panels in alaska.

You think that we havent done any of this because it isn't possible, because you believe the bullshit of politicians.

Nearly all solar technology is 95% cost efficient and harvest over 15% of the light it collects, that amount is far more than enough.

>theecoexperts.com/most-efficient-solar-panels/

Also new techonlogy this year has been developed that can increase the collected energy converted to over 30%

>technologyreview.com/s/600922/first-solars-cells-break-efficiency-record/

Let me guess, you didn't know any of this?

dont even start about

"ENERGY TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE ISN'T THERE TO DISTRIBUTE THE SOLAR ENERGY"

It' will just prove how fucking ignorant you are.

>28C
>burning alive

Huh?

Scientists are like 90% Marxists, no bullshit. That's why I'm "anti-science." Anything they come up with must be taken with a huge grain of salt in light of their communist tendencies.

Global warming is a hoax, though.

climate != weather

>Scientists are like 90% Marxists, no bullshit.

No they are not, I have a science degree and my professors were mostly conservatives.

>Global warming is a hoax, though.

No, Global climate changes are real and can be measured. Nobody disagrees that it is real, not even the dumbest and most anti-science politician. It is a measurable fact.

The last 10 years we have had 7 years that have had a "Hottest year in recorded history" record. There has never been recorded a hotter year in recorded history. This year has so far ALSO been a "hottest That includes looking at weather patterns in tree rings on old buildings and so on.

>science has literally given you everything you have in the modern world

I DON'T TRUST THOSE MARXISTS IDIOTS.

>Anything they come up with must be taken with a huge grain of salt in light of their communist tendencies.

He thinks he lives in a capitalist country, LOL. hey buddy do you know what Fractional Reserve banking is? (which by the way runs this country)

also geothermal energy is fucking never endingbecause of the planet's processes

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geothermal_energy

dont even get me started on Nuclear.

also climate change is real idiot, what isn't 100% is to what extent we have made it worse.

ALso you hate science so much why use the computer youre using? Science developed that, how about most of the things you've ever owned were probably manufactured due to engineering innovations, which once again is science.

Let me guess, you're a religious person. Go back to living in the dark ages then.

Have you ever heard of dynamic chaotic systems? Climate/weather is one of those systems that we simply don't have the computational power to accurately model yet. A small event across the world can influence the weather of the USA. There are far too many lurking variables to actually consider the climate models to be accurate. Combine that with the fact that they haven't even been correct yet and you've got a system that simply isn't believable yet people believe without question

>don't even get started on a legitimate point that I know nothing about because I can't argue it

Unless we had a breakthrough in batteries recently, you're a fucking mongoloid.

yeah definitely nuclear is the future. Solar is a waste of time until our battery techs catch up with the times, if they even can

Holy shit that probably feels so good

You, on the other hand sound like an intelligent, rational, educated person

The planet will be just fine, trust me.

Humanity? Another story

If you think the earth gives 2 shits what we do it doesent.

>Unless we had a breakthrough in batteries recently, you're a fucking mongoloid.

sigh,

at least you get the point.

We have enough techonlogy from solar, wind geothermal to nuclear to power the ploanet without oil

The petrodollar overlords don't want to lose their economic and political power though.

I don't know why people like you defend them.

Did you even read my first post? I'm not for petrol at all. I'm in favor of nuclear, as it's substantially more scalable than solar. Nuclear is the only power source we have that can actually get us off of petrol for energy. We'll probably still refine oil for plastics, until we can find a cheap alternative

Brazil...I hate to be the one who tells you this, but you are a land in the equatorial region of our planet.

>>Have you ever heard of dynamic chaotic systems? Climate/weather is one of those systems that we simply don't have the computational power to accurately model yet.

You can still do calculations on dynamic chaotic systems. We DO have models to accurately predict if the climate is changing or not. We can't predict the weather on december 13 2019, but we CAN predict that the temperature that year likely will be much warmer.

There are mathematical methods that can perfectly be used on chaotic systems.

>A small event across the world can influence the weather of the USA.

Weather is not climate. It's like if a group of people start pissing inside your home, you can not predict where every single drop will land. And any small thing might keep a spot dry, but there are models that can predict that you will have more piss on your carpet on average than if your home was not invaded by a mob of pissing vandals.

>There are far too many lurking variables to actually consider the climate models to be accurate.

No there is not. Please tell me why you think scientists say that the climate is changing and tell me what variables makes them inacurate. I guess you can not answer neither.

>Combine that with the fact that they haven't even been correct yet

They predicted warmer weather in the 70s and it has been steadily warmer and warmer and warmer. They predicted that the north pole ice that exists on the sea would be completely gone by the summer of 2015 and that did happen in the summer of 2013. Only ice left during summer is on greenland, there is no permanent ice on the north pole anymore.

I did thats why I said

>at least you get the point

But you're acting like solar isn't efficient or possible to power at least some of the country because you believe the bs that the oil oligarchs have spread saying it isn't efficient or realistic.

Even if we can't power the country with solar completely, many areas even whole states can be powered by solar with current technology.

>global warming

More like global COOLING.

My original argument was that it's fucking retarded that the government is subsidizing solar/wind/hydro. They are nonscalable technologies and it's moving the energy industry away from nuclear.

>My original argument was that it's fucking retarded that the government is subsidizing solar/wind/hydro. They are nonscalable technologies and it's moving the energy industry away from nuclear.

Yes I know, the politicians of both parties have fucked up policies and public view against Nuclear, I don't know exactly why but I'm sure lobbying has something to do with it

Once again though, solar, wind and hydro are good technologies, but nuclear should be more funded.

With current fission we can do just as well as oil, but if we fund to develop fusion we will never have to worry about energy again.

yeah assholes, at least wait until august 50th. you know, closer to the end of the month?

xD

I concede that they can predict that things are getting warmer, sure.

How about the recent example of corn sweat causing a massive fluctuation in temperatures across the US? The climate models couldn't account for that. The corn sweats are a lurking variable. The rate of methane release in the middle east is a lurking variable. etc etc

There's so much shit that simply can't be accounted for in a chaotic dynamic system

As for why scientists think the climate is changing? Because it is, definitely. I've already provided a few examples of the variables that aren't being considered.

>hurr durr scientists can predict things will get warmer
>hurr durr muh northern ice is disappearing while my southern ice is growing

also like i said to another person

Global warming is 100% real, what isn't 100% is to what EXTENT we made it worse or sped it up.

Everymonth since july 2015 has been the hottest month in recorded history (since 1880s) meaning that iis obvious climate is getting warmer.

Most conclusive evidence suggest we have affected it,. but scientist are not 100% how much we have done.

Its a definite thing dude, overwhelming evidence

you're acting like any of that disproves the fact that climate is actually warming.
Like i said not everything is 100% figured out.

By the way different areas are affected different ways by climate. Just because overall climate is heating up it doesn't mean some areas aren't getting colder.

>while my southern ice is growing

But the ice that is growing is a thin layer that easily melts during the summers. The ice is just moving. The old ice is melting away there as well. The "growing" only lasts less than a year. While the old ice is getting removed.
