You either sign this application for whichever residency permit applies to their situation or you get in the van and will be dispatched on an military operated civilian airliner to MEXICO CITY. If you do not remain at your residence jurisdiction or fail to notify ICE of a move, a warrant is issued and you are immediately deported on sight.
This will only apply to residents who can prove they have been here XYZ amount of time. See, this is where "humane" really gets complicated, because you have to have policy language that explains what you think is *inhumane*, how much personal damage is being done.
Then to prove one has been here for more than XYZ amount of time, you have to investigate. If I am in Tuscon but swear I was in San Diego for the last two years, then everyone has to wait on me to prove it if this is allowed to be a factor. This is before you even get to administrative court hearings and appeals, so essentially we have just re-invented the same problematic wheel all over again through the issue of Due Process.

This is why people, namely government, is always pushing for amnesty because the alternative is a fucking bureaucratic quagmire emanating from Due Process applied to foreigners as a blanket right for everything else. By contrast, amnesty is cheap and fast.
The other problem is there is no frigging legal language anywhere by policy that accounts for someone applying for residence who doesn't even have a valid visa, and its absurd to issue a visa to someone who is already here if you aren't simply renewing one.

Anchor babies continue to be the 'get out of jail free' card that blows up any swift residency quibbles, and assuming birthright citizenship *can* be changed, it will take for-fucking-ever. Juan knows he can get benefits through a woman, and if it gets him residency through an anchor baby too, so much the better.
So I can live without deporting every last single illegal. Fine. I don't like it, but fine. But we have to at least actively locate and document them, or we may as well be doing nothing at all.

To be fair, even when he mentioned a deportation force in November and before, he talked about doing it in a "humane" way.
I keep thinking about this term 'sanctuary cities'. It doesnt have a clear definition.
People seem to think it means large cities where there is de facto amnesty among local LEO and the city government actively seeks illegals.
That isnt always the case. I know of one that is quite small. Its not that there is an opinion on illegals one way or the other. They simply showed up and nobody cared. Its a small town surrounded by orchard country; migrant workers circulate through there during the appropriate season.
Thats something else no one is talking about: illegals are often on the move, at least in the East. Its not like they have one place they live and you can go and round them up. The migrants move by the season to where the agricultural work is in demand.
Say what you will, but the first generations are impressively self reliant, frugal and pragmatic. Its not the character of them I have a problem with, its our lax security and their numbers.
They dont ask much, the first generation ones are good workers, family and community oriented and typically good Catholics.
But it doesnt mean their kids cant be brainwashed in liberal schools and on media to become another race-identity voting block for liberals that will flip states for eternity and eventually see whites as some problem they have to solve.
