You're selling yourself for money. You're whores for cash and won't admit it, while feeling superior to sex workers.
Legalized prostitution? That's what working for money is

It would be more admirable to leech off of the taxes of workers? While being a lazy slob?
Irrelevant.
The point here is that people have been indoctrinated to think selling themselves for money isn't prostitution.
It is.
I'd also say it's very likely that the reason sex work is banned is because it makes it easier to indoctrinate people into thinking they're not whores for cash — that it's something different.
As for taxes, licensed sex workers pay taxes.
> thinking they're not whores for cash
How exactly do you call someone holding a conventional job a whore for cash? It's not considered degrading and it's not sexual or illegal.
Damn I love redheads!
Any nudes?
Source?
Yes. So? Whats your point?
women hate the idea of people outright paying for sex, it removes the stranglehold they have over men
>How exactly do you call someone holding a conventional job a whore for cash?
I guess you didn't read the op.
> It's not considered degrading
really?
please watch Office Space. Try on some flair.
>and it's not sexual
really?
also, who cares?
>or illegal.
like selling alcohol was during Prohibition?

Anyone who has ever worked in a shit-tier job like that knows exactly what she's feeling.
The only difference is that wage whores don't get to do what she did because we're not Hollywood actors.
reality is that women are not the people who have set the standards
sex work is no different from any other type of work in the most significant aspect
all work for money is whoring for cash
>tfw work security
>tfw 10.50 an hour to shitpost on Sup Forums
how much flair to do bring to your work?
Whoah life is rough and so are entry level jobs! That is a retarded scenario first of all. Second of all it is called a job for a reason, you get money and help out a business. How this is comparable to selling your body for entry like a whore is beyond me.
>How this is comparable to selling your body for entry like a whore is beyond me
not too bright, are we
(silver spoon middle management detected)
I'm still not getting what your point is.
the indoctrination is so severe
quite amazing, really
A person has only a finite amount of personal resources: time, energy, effort, desire, body, etc.
Instead of doing things that people enjoy most people are forced to do things they don't enjoy in order to get money. They sell their bodies/time/lives/effort/desire in exchange for cash.
This is in no way superior to sex work. Sex work is just one type of employment. It's all the same, including adult film acting, art films with simulated sex but actual French kissing, etc.
All boundaries between sex work and other types of work are arbitrary. Many types of employment involve selling one's body based on physical attractiveness, like modeling. It's also obvious that good-looking people get better promotions and better treatment at work.
People need to stop pretending that employment is some sort of grand thing that's better than sex work. They need to stop thinking that wage whoring is more respectable.
>That is a retarded scenario first of all.
You have clearly never had an unpleasant job.
How nice for you. For regular people, though, most of the time work sucks rocks.
People are forced into sex work to get money just like people are forced into other types of work to get money.
>That is a retarded scenario first of all.
Kroger employees have to do a "huddle"
there are all sorts of degrading things corporations come up with to rub employees' noses in it
and not just corps either
I worked for the biggest asshole on the planet in my first job. He relished being able to make his employees suffer. I was smart enough to quit right away but a lot of kids stayed
So what do you propose as an alternative? Subsistence farming?
Yes, I understand what you're getting at : we're all whoring ourselves for money. Our bodies, time, etc.
Again, what's the point? You're pointing this out like its some enormous, life-changing revelation, when in reality most people already know this.
Do you want sex work legalized? Are you justifying being a neet? Are you attempting to have wageslaves break those shackles? This isn't exactly a new or groundbreaking discussion.
OP rekt
>So what do you propose as an alternative?
First step is to get people to understand the situation.
I shouldn't have to do all the work for everyone. It's enough to make people aware of the situation.
Hannah Arendt pointed out that we're indoctrinated into slaving away by consumerism. Similarly, we're indoctrinated into believing that work is virtuous instead of prostitution.
Since work for most people is not enjoyable or fulfilling that is something that bears looking into.
>Do you want sex work legalized?
What I want is peripheral to the truths being discussed.
>You're pointing this out like its some enormous, life-changing revelation, when in reality most people already know this.
1) confirmation bias
2) false
If this were obvious
a) sex work would be viewed no differently
b) people would not consent to being turned into massive wage whores while others, simultaneously, are able to spend so much more of their time enjoying life and being fulfilled even with their work
c) we wouldn't have people mystified in this very fucking thread, something you would have seen if you were not a typical shitposter
>OP rekt
proxy sockpuppet
>people would not consent to being turned into massive wage whores
Again, what's the fucking alternative? This is some navel gazing bullshit. Are you going to go pick money of the money tree and go do all the rad shit that you want? Should others support you? What?
>Again, what's the fucking alternative?
maybe use your brain
if that's too much to ask read Arendt
>It's not my job to educate you!
Fuck off. If you don't have anything worthwhile to say then just shut up.
>If you don't have anything worthwhile to say then just shut up.
right, because your posts, not mine, have been the informative ones in this thread
cute story brroooo
it's a common tactic to shift the goal posts from identifying a problem to denying it by mocking whatever potential solutions are identified
I know the tactic. I see it all the time
Difference is that I get to sit in a chair and type instead of suck dick for money. Bit of a difference.
>not too bright, are we
Nice argument neckbeard
>potential solutions
That's what I've been asking for, which you have provided none. You're the one claiming the jobs are prostitution. If you have any alternative to the necessity that is work, then please share.
Protip, farming and hunting are still jobs. The reason we work is to pay others to do that for us so we have money and time over to do other shit.
>Bit of a difference.
hurr durr
I can make a list of the fact that different jobs are different
hurr
demand not request
maybe if you ask nicely
>Workers get paid
>Prostitutes get paid
>Everyone who gets paid is a prostitute
Deep
Oh pretty please, enlighten us as to how a society where everyone does only fulfilling and creative things will work.
n-no! I'm pure!
fallacy of the excluded middle
adult film stars get treated like child molesters in America by people in the same states where porn consumption is through the roof
and actual sex work is only legal in Nevada
so fuck off with your "it's so obvious" bullshit
it's non-obvious to most people or the system would not be the way it is
So some should have to prostitute themselves while others shouldn't? Why?
>So some should have to prostitute themselves while others shouldn't? Why?
that wasn't the point
the point was that more equitable resource distribution reduces the disparity in life quality
that's obvious even to you
