Aren't Romanians get tired of Dracula (and gypsy) stereotypes?
Of Dracula, no. He's a touristic attraction and it rakes in a lot of money from dumb americans/westerners.
Of gypsies, yes.
>dumb americans/westerners.

Is Romania an amalgamation of how Americans see Europe?
Even their language, I'd say is the most European one out there. Romance with a good lump of Slavic influence on top.
Władysław Drakulowski, famous Polish prince of Transylwania. Rumored to be the ancestor of Mikołaj Teslowski, a famous Polish inventor.
Was middle age anywhere in the world not cruel?
>Is Romania an amalgamation of how Americans see Europe?
That is a good question but not one I am well equipped to answer..that region of Europe is relatively unknown to Americans. The general uninformed opinion is that is a poorish mix of people that are sorta greekish/darker and sorta Slavic and of course the Roma thing confuses things as I'd imagine A LOT of Americans don't know the difference.
Δράkουλας - Dracula or Βλαντ ο Παλουkωτής (or Ανασkολοπιστής, more archaic) - Vlad the Impaler

Even his moniker was the chroniclers' way of calling him a faggot.
LLEGO EL BIGOTEEEEE
Considering that almost every single one of his male ancestors starting with Basarab married a hungarian noblewoman, that's pretty much a given. Even he married like 3 hungarian women.
He asked Hungary for help and they gave none

go to FKK in germany.
>Is Romania an amalgamation of how Americans see Europe?
Um, no? The most common American view of Europe is Britain, France, and Germany.
Because it's a 19th century pro-union poem written by a transylvanian and he couldn't think of another "romanian" ruler of transylvania. Should've went with Iancu instead.
I don't think any nobility in Europe bar the german one had any ethnic relation with their subjects by that time.
Wlad III, one who inserts things.
