Vaping is better

Its white trash and embarrassing.

That's sort of harsh but, yeah, I see it. Smoker kids in highschool were usually always from worse, lower ranking schools.

Based EU banning this shit completely soon. Snus following it soon.

Seriously? I haven't heard of it getting banned.

I only buy smokes for mixing for joints to be honest.
Smoking plain old cigs is the most pointless thing ever, especially when snus exists.
I'm addicted to nicotine, but I purely use snus, I only smoke cigs at parties, and in warm countries where you can't get snus easily.

With weed you at least get an effect you can feel, I feel nothing when smoking cigs, just the nicotine itch getting scratched.

Don't get hooked on the nicotine jew kids, smoke hella weed instead.

Yeah this is what I hear on the internet and other media all day long. Number of irl confrontations about my smoking: 0

Go figure.

A lot of people smoke.

The tobacco industry has been subject to the greatest smear campaign of all time.

Smoking is cool, only soybois hate it

>t. s01e01 of mad men

Gee I wonder why....

Lmfao
Yeah probably because people just aren't very confrontational about that sort of stuff especially I believe in the more north of Europe you go as I believe people there are more private and to themselves about their lifestyles.

>Yeah probably because people just aren't very confrontational about that sort of stuff especially I believe in the more north of Europe you go as I believe people there are more private and to themselves about their lifestyles.

Kind of correct, but it only regards strangers really, we're very open to our close friends, and people we trust, it's just that it can take some time to get to that point.

That's how I see most people here anyway, I think this is the most common.

That's pretty interesting. Here people are more or less open up to eachother the first day they meet eachother, within certain boundaries of course. Which is why I've always felt a sort of uneasiness about friendships in those types upper middle class European countries, or maybe it's all made up in my head I don't really know for sure.

it's getting more and more unpopular I think, also it has gotten so fucking expensive that a lot of people quit for just this reason

personally I quit about 10 months ago

A more white trash thing to do the new cool thing is vaping and weed

Vaping is such a meme to me. Like the stuff you see IT people doing thinking they're cool.

Our country isn't entirely upper middle class if that's what you thought, we have our low classes and higher ones as well.
But yeah, the boundaries between classes here are probably more liquid than in most places, because of our gommunistic socialism and oil moneys.

I wish we were more open, but I guess it's in our blood to be a little cold and polite when we meet people the first time.
I feel I would fit better in in a more open society, scandinavians can be extremely judgemental and conformist, especially in small communities.
I wish to move to Australia some day really.

>I wish to move to Australia some day really.
Lol my post was sort of based in my experiences I had with my family in Australia and their social life which I connected to your country (no offense intended). Yeah I didn't really have a way of articulating what I meant there so I said "upper middle class European countries", didn't mean to judge. However, maybe I have a subconscious distrust of people wealthier than me that has accumulated over the course of my life, idk.

According to some latest statistics we are the 4th country in the world (I think? maybe europe only) by cigaretes consuming.

So I guess they like it

4th biggest per capita

out of around 50.000 people, 13.000 die every year because of smoking here
all politicians want to ban it but if they do all the smokers won't vote for them and they'll lose their job. i hate democracy

Stop banning shit, adults can do whatever the fuck they want to do with their own bodies, even if it is drinking arsenic.
Nanny statism is the worst kind of cancer.

t. lives in the biggest nanny state in the universe.

dumb fjeldabe we have a welfare system we pay by using tax money.
if you put your own health in danger over something avoidable like smoking or eating yourself obese, you should pay everything yourself. you swines are worse than muslims

Attached: DNkF33yXkAg0H8B.jpg (900x1200, 204K)

Let me have the choice then.
What are you a gommie?

im a whatever ideology that see the general population for what they are, children, who need to be raised and kept in line in order to secure a strong state
and you do have a choice- america

Also who draws the lines?
Driving a car is very dangerous, better ban it.
Cycling without a helmet: Dangerous, better have a pig on every corner giving you rectal exams to ensure that you have all you helmet regulation papers in order
Alcohol: Ding dong bannu
Mcdonalds: Ban ban ban

Sounds like North Korea is you kind of country.

Also, I already pay for it myself with this country's fuckhuge taxes, so that argument doesn't really hold water either.

>give me a choice to be a burden on your tax money
I can't stop you, but that's a rude stance.

Back to topic at hand, it's prevalent here, as we used to be at the top of cigarettes per capita a few years ago. I only wish it was banned indoors, I hate going out and coming back smelling like an ashtray.

It's my tax money as well.

It's mandatory or you go in jail

Most people i know smoke but i don't because i'm a cheap bastard.

Attached: 0153145_300.jpg (300x300, 10K)

Of course, but not all of it. If superfluous costs can be avoided I'm all for it. Also, this is probably a non-issue in norway, I guess even if all of you smoked you could pay the health costs. So I shouldn't say it's rude in your case. It would be rude here, we're not as rich and don't want to pay for stuff that can be avoided.

driving a car actually has a purpose, unlike smoking and fastfood which is just pure shit you put in your body.
we have a law saying we need seatbelts in a car, so i think we should require a helmet when biking too.
alcohol can be enjoyed in smaller doses without harming significantly but yes society would benefit if alcohol got banned, or at least restricted. which it already is in your country, not mine.
mcdonalds, yes ban that cheap shit and promote local restaurants with local cuisine

nah, you don't. you pay a small amount so every norwegian citizen can get healthcare and an education without paying on spot. which mean other norwegians pay for you.
i really think we should let people like you pay for your own shit. we'll see how you'll look when you need a shit lot of medicine and treatment when the smoking lungs or heart diseases kick in. you almost justify gulags

teenagers think smoking make them cool

>Small amount
More like 30% of my income, I've given the state a lot more money than I've ever used from the state.
I don't even fucking smoke, I'm talking principals here.
But yeah, fine, I'd gladly pay for it as long as the prices weren't artificially shot the hell up.

>We should ban alcohol
Yeah since then everyone just magically stops doing it right? Do you have two braincells? They've tried that before, it didn't go very well as it just gave the mafia and black markets a hell of a lot more business, if there's demand, the supply will come, question is, do you want a legitimate business to make money, or some shady ass murdering drug lord?

EVERYONE SMOKES IN YOUR COUNTRY
Jesus i spent new year with university students in rennes and more then half of people i met had either cigarettes or a blunt in their hand explain it to me

i never understood this
you smoke because you like the feel and sometimes to be accepted more easily (at start) but making you cooler is meh

I like smoking. Don't know why

30% of your income is not even close enough to pay for yourself. americans go into debt for life for car accidents and shit.
it's theoretically but it would definitely decrease alcohol consumption

Don't ask me, I never understood it myself
15yo kids think it makes them look like grown-ups, then they get addicted and they just keep smoking for the rest of their lives

Most people smoke here.
Me included.

isn't it Haram ?

Depends on your income, your situation and a lot of other things.
I don't live in America, nor do I say that modern corporatism America is something to strive at.

Yeah, decreasing alcohol consumption, but increasing, crime, alcohol poisoning, and 100 more side effects, great idea bucko! You should start the bolshevik revolution again, after all it went so well last time.

I have nothing more to say other than that I completely disagree with you, but your entitled to your opinions, no matter how backwards they are.

lmao you're soooo better than america, enjoy your freedom

You're just jelly that my camels cost 5tnd (less than 2 euros) and come in a nice shiny yellow unlike your black boxes of unsettling messages.

I>2018
>Is not of burning man sticks

Are you schooltreated badly, mentally retarded or both?

>b-but it lowers life years

So? Was life a contest to see who could enjoy the years long?

>It's a hooking you!

It's not so long as you are not a minor and can burn reasonably

>IT COSTS MONEY MONEY MONEY

Who makes you burn a pack a day, fucking gravel-cudgel?

No one cares.

it's perfectly okay to smoke everywhere and to smell like a piksla

We smoke weed.
