Littlefinger

>Fair trial only when it's convenient to the writers
>Sansa just broke the sacred tradition of guest rights with no consequences
>No evidence against Littlefinger except a quasi-autistic kid in a wheelchair and the accuser's word
>Lord Protector of the Vale and the Riverlands is just allowed to be murdered with no due process
>I waited seven years just for this shit

I shuppose....that'sh jusht the Game of Thrones.

I just feel like he deserved a better death you know I mean a quick slice to the throat by arya it just didn't feel right for such a character to die like that I wanted to seem him and varys duel it out to the end.

>I guess I really did lose the Game.......of Thrones
Jesus, these writers are fucking hacks

lived like a cunt, died like a cunt

Everyone knew he hilled Lysa, and he did admit it in front of the whole hall. That alone was enough to warrant death legally. I agree that it could have been written better.

Mercy killing from Sansa because a part of her does care about him. A mercy killing for the audience b/c no room for plotting in walking dead mideval edition

And I shuppose.... the CIA memes is off the table as well?

might as well have let the lvl 80 rogue kill him without anyone else knowing. that scene sucked.

He should have bought the mercenaries, the masked man...

What sort of due process is this?

I agree. But the fact that he died at all without even revealing his master plan I waited seven years for is a fucking insult

Nah, most of our memes come from Season 1's deceased. We'll just pretend he's still alive.

AAAAGHHHH DABID SAAVEE MY CHARACTER PLEASE

IMMA LORD PROTECTOR OF THE VALE AND I COMMAND YOU TO ESCORT ME SAFELY TO THE EYRIE!

DABID I BEG YOU I LOVE BEING A BIG GUY SINCE I WAS BOY

I LOVE /GOT/ MORE THAN ANYONE

DABID... I AAGHRRGHHHH..... AAGh ahhhaghhh...

Imagine being a Lord of the Vale in that scene and having to be all like "damn, Samsa, your rule is fuckin' fine, all just with your beautifully raped body and horrific androgynous monster faced sister. I would totally be ruled by you, both my character and the real me." when all you really want to do is to follow her brother into certain doom. Like seriously imagine having to be a Lord of the Vale and not only stand in that hall while Sansa flaunts her disgusting governing in front of you, the favorable lighting barely concealing the face of her sister, and just stand there, take after take, hour after hour, while she perfected that dialogue. Not only having to tolerate her sister's monstrous fucking visage but her haughty attitude as everyone on set tells her she's STILL GOT IT and DAMN, SANSA ACTS LIKE *THAT*?? because they're not the ones who have to sit there and watch her sister's mannish fucking gremlin face contort into types of grimaces you didn't even know existed before that day. You've been ruled by nothing but a healthy diet of decent rulers for your ENTIRE CAREER coming straight out your castle. You've never even seen anything this fucking disgusting before, and now you swear you can taste the sweat that's breaking out on her dimpled face as she sucks it in to writhe it suggestively at you, smugly assured that you are enjoying the opportunity to get paid to stand there and revel in her "competent and strong (for that is what she calls it)" ruling, the ruling she worked so hard for with Littlefinger in the previous months. And then the director calls for another take, and you know you could kill every single person in this room before the studio security could put you down, but you sit there and endure, because you're a fucking Lord of the Vale. You're not going to lose your future political career over this. Just bear it. Hide your face and bear it.

Why do you compare got to the walking dead ? The only thing I know about that show it that there are zombies in it.

>Sup Forums has about fifty got threads
>OP decides to make another one

Anti-climactic death... there were no longer any stakes... the Vale armies are a afterthought. He's done nothing but linger at Winterfel since BotB... his whole endgame was just obsession with Cat/Sansa...he was no where close to a position of any real power that we assumed he'd been accumulating over all this time.. (Exshept for Harrenholl... I shupozge)...

>>Fair trial
Not something you can expect in a setting like this.
Depending on the severity of the claim, the conviction of those in power, and how important you are you can appeal for one, but it's not guaranteed.

Innocent until proven guilty is a fairly recent thing. If a lord, king, emperor or whatever says you're guilty deal with it.

Not really. Trials were common in the medieval era too depending on which part of the world you were in.

And again, Tyrion got one. Why not Littlefinger?

He wans't in charge user

Because Sansa and Royce didn't want to give him one.
They didn't care for him or trust him.

House Lannister was respected, House Baelish was not.

He didn't have any master plan, he wanted to create chaos and climb it.

His plan was crashing Winterfell... with no survivors.

>They would all be dead if not for LF help in Battle of the bastards

His plan was obvious. Create chaos and then use that to climb to the top by playing whichever side gave him the best advantage at the time.

It's fitting that he died this way, with his true pathetic self being revealed at the end while begging for his life.

He became over confident and was sure that Sansa had fallen for his tricks, despite her having watched him at his trickery for years.

It was satisfying seeing him trying to get a one on one with her at the end because he still thought he could convince her.

wow social media has really turned the world into a bunch of chavs

I want to see his NEXT STEP of his master plan

I wanted to see him try to fight for his life.

Just wait for the big reveal in the next season. Getting caught was part of his plan.
Azor Petyr

Syrio forell is actually his gay uncle that married his aunt. After he lost the duel to Brandon he completed the cycle and became a bravosi water dancer. Arya would have been cut into a 100 pieces if he had requested a trial by combat, but he didn't want to get Salsas thrown room messy with her dismembered sister so he decided to take the knee and hope that Salsa would take his lessons to heart and take the iron throne in his name while stringing along goblin girl until she betrays Jon.

It's the end of the season. Obviously she'll die in the next.

>next episode
>they move littlefingers corpse
>his face peels off
>it's not littlefinger
>he made someone wear his face and warged into him
>he's now building up his strength with Olenna and Stannis

If he said
>Your aunt Lyssa wanted to throw you off the Moon door. I did it to protect you. We did it together.
then that whatever Sansa was trying to do would fall flat on her face. Pretty double-edged accusation. But the popular character gets off unscathed while everything goes spectacularly wrong for another character because, because I don't even know anymore, viewership politics I guess.

So you want him to be a flawless character who never fails and eventually wins?

He got cocky, he fucked up, and he got the kind of end he deserved.

He thought he could play the game of thrones with nothing but words. He was shown how wrong he was by Cersei when she gave him the whole "power is power" speech, but he didn't learn, and then it was too late.

No lawyer, no witnesses?

youtu.be/R8r9_WWzNS0

Arya is off fucking Gendry. Sansa looks into the camera and smirks

There'd never have een a Bastardbowl had he not set in motion the events of the series.

...

I SUBOZE

can anyone explain "due process", as in why "due" and not "fair process" or sth

Like when you're due for a beating it means it's your turn to get a beating, you're ripe for a beating. The due in due process confuses me

He doesn't die in the books, why are they killing him in the show?

She experienced it herself, she didn't need the convincing of proofs.

>Due
>one's right; what is owed to one.
He is owed a fair trail, which is why it's called due process. It is the fair process of trail that is owed to a person being accused.

No one important has died in a while, since Olenna so D&D pulling it out of their ass to appease the mostly millenial fanbase

Its alright though, he seemed like he was sick of playing that role anyway

so the meaning I always associated with due is actually a metaphorical one.

thank you, I understand now

Fair trial for character, whose whole career was around throwing out the "fair" part.

>Sansa just broke the sacred tradition of guest rights with no consequences

Littlefinger violated the NAP first by trying to kill off Bran.

>No evidence against Littlefinger except a quasi-autistic kid in a wheelchair and the accuser's word

Quasi-autistic kid is a perfect lie detector. Also, he can warg and mindrape everyone at his please.

>Lord Protector of the Vale and the Riverlands is just allowed to be murdered with no due process

Shouldn't be a dick and threatening Royce to be thrown off the Vale last season.

>He doesn't die in the books
He hasn't died YET in the books, because the show is ahead of the books.

He probably dies around this point in the books as well.

It's a fitting death for a character like him, to have his schemes fall apart because he thought he was smarter than he is.

Although the writing for this scheme is pretty bad. Why would he not realise that Arya would tell Sansa that HE was the one who dug up that letter. instead we have him telling Sansa "Oh I wonder why Arya went digging up that letter to use as proof!"

Because if the show went by how far the books have come we wouldn't even have a season 6 or 7.

>humbly loves strong liberal women
>assassinates an oppressive dictator
>rescues a princess
>preserves the kingdom of the Vale
>saves the north
>get killed off by a cripple and a hunchback

Well there are more meanings for the word, but in your example, if you are due a beating it is a beating you are owed for whatever reason.

>(of a person) having reached a point where the thing mentioned is required or owed.
"she was due for a rise"
In this case she is due for a rise based on previous actions. But to switch in your example we could say they are due a beating because they insulted your mother, or something similar.

Why would you make a show based on books if the books aren't even finished yet?

It was obvious they were going to do the whole Arya with a knife execution but how can anyone not see that as barbaric? They could have hanged him at least.

Master of Coin should have ended up begging for coin in Flea Bottom as Varys strides by him with a smirk. This is how it should have ended for LF.

aaarrrrrgghhh

Sophie has fucked half the cast in real life, probably did anal with CIA.

But he has marketable skills, like money counting, investing, pimpin

Except Sansa testified, in front of that knight no less, that Varys did it to save Sansa. I'm almost certain that the writers forgot what they did in their own show at this point, and haven't gone back and watched it.

>This can't be happening! I'm in charge here!

What did Littlefinger mean by this?

He admits guilt in the scene

still the funniest part of the whole season

Dosh

So did Ned. It should mean nothing under duress

Because they didn't realise GRRM is as slow as a downsyndrome sloth

You got proof? pics maybe...

sauce?

very underrated post

LF's death was stupid as fug

Hope Preston rips this episode a new hole.

Wait until he meets up with the night king and finally rules the north

Who has been running his Brothel? First for Podrick and his magic cock acquiring ownership of CIA's establishment by the end next season.

Bronn eats for free.

Pretty much this actually. Remove Arya, the threat. Get with Sansa like he always wanted.

Sansa was being put in her aunts previous position and it was good on her to see how obvious it was.

I want to see that.

>how should we kill off littlefinger?
>just let him admit all his crimes
>BRILLIANT

asshole lies all the time and when it really matters he tells the truth. ok.

it boggles my mind that anyone could watch and enjoy a single minute of his videos.
the smugness is just unbearable, among many other things.

Well congratulations! You got yourself killed!

>following his story for 7 fucking years
>as show goes on gradually becomes the one remaining character of actual interest
>writers shit out this anticlimax because they have no idea what to do with their only interesting character anymore
Why do I still watch this shit

>I wasn't there to see it, but I hear Petyr Baelish was sobbing like a little girl when they took him away.

>with no due process

>Petry saves Sansa from crazy aunt who tried to kill her
>Sansa then says he committed a crime and is evil for it

lmao these fucking writers, holy shit I'm glad I haven't watched anything since how awful S4 was

>anticlimax
This was literally the only end for him. Getting caught up in his lies after becoming overconfident is the death that has been waiting for him since season 1

>I don't watch the show but I still come to threads just to shitpost about it
Jesus, could you be anymore pathetic?

I really wanna see Grrm's version of CIA man's story now.

I must atleast be better than this crap but fuck him anyway for giving his property into the hands of such normie hacks

It was a completely unearned and rushed ending for his character. There was obviously more to his story they decided to skip because they realized they need to wrap this shit up. Really lazy writing

he has autism as does half of Sup Forums

>THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! CHAOSH ISH A LADDER HERE

AND I SUPPOSE I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN AWY WT IT 2 IT WASN'T FOR YOU MEDDLING KIDS

>character becomes useless
>lets kill him off
boring

Underrated post

First he needs to finish the fucking books. Which will never, EVER happen.

>"You killed my aunt Lysa."
Bronze John Royce be like "Wtf, but you yourself told as it was a suicide. What is the meaning of this?"

I agree but the stakes should've been a little higher than "get the stark cunt to kill her gremlin sister"

(S)HE WHO PASSES JUDGEMENT

DELIVERS THE SENTENCE

This is the way of the North.

if they had any balls cersei would have killed jaime or tryion

You could say that the fire has risen way too high for him.

Kek

>tfw only oldfriends get this

Did Euron and Cersei have the conversation to head to Essos before the hound showed them the dead guy?

Why does Euron want to marry this old hag and not the dragon queen again?

Yo,

so can someone explain why Littlefinger gave his knife to an assasin and sent him to kill Bran? What was his plan? Shit doesnt make any sense.

Trying to frame the Lannisters and start a war.

Yeah but why did he gave his knife?

What was the point of this scene

Because Littlefinger admitted to killing Lysa.
