Is it true that the more sexual partners someone has the more difficulty they have uptaking oxytocin or other relevant brain chemicals leading to reduced pair bonding?
I cannot find any evidence of this.

The graphs provided are in conjunction with how well the female is able to bond with her partner after x many. This is due to oxytocin. Oxytocin is released during intercourse, and during breastfeeding of a child. It works as any other neurotransmitter, like dopamine for instance, if you were to smoke a lot of pot for prolonged amounts of time, your dopamine pathways would be fried, and inefficient. This is how the brain works with neurotransmitters.
