Are highlights from the writing. It is really REDPILLING the entire MTG community to the fact quality has gone down tremendously to push SJW writers.
The latest MTG plane is a person of color only plan with no white people. It is based off india and pakistan.
It also happens to be the most technologically advanced and perfect plane ever in the history of MTG. It just so happens the major plot story is about an evil rebellion trying to destroy it because of prejudice.

I think the groups of people that play vary hugely. I'm not a fan of their recent spurt of diversification in the last couple of years. Replacing characters like Ajani and Elseth with various mud colored characters, trannys, and gays doesn't really do anything for me.

My friend introduced me to it and I was initially like ehhh....I really don't want to get into it, seems like only losers really played it. But, I gave it a chance. Fell in love with it, and within weeks I was buying my own cards and staying up late at night trying to construct "the perfect deck". Of course it doesn't exist (in standard anyway). I would only play my friend, but after a few months we tried going to Friday Night Magic at the local game shop. I was extremely nervous but it was fun. It was a mix of kids, later 20's-30 somethings social rejects, and 1 or two other normal people.
A few more months later and me and my friend went to our first MTG tournament, with hundreds of people. I lost 5/9 of the games I played, as did my friend, but the entire experience just killed magic forever for me. Have you ever been to a shoddy casino? I have. I remember playing blackjack and looking around at people getting mad and frustrated, how they all seemed pathetic in their own way, and I was sitting there thinking "what the fuck am I even doing here?" and I got up, cashed out, and left. That was the exact same feeling I had at the MTG tournament. The people I was playing against were extremely petty, weren't interesting in ANY sort of conversation, and ANY kind of slip up was absolutely forbidden by them. I accidentally knocked 2 cards from the top of my deck onto the ground, said oops, picked them up without looking down, and placed them at the bottom of my deck. He immediately told me that I lost, and called a judge over who explained that I did indeed lose because of that. Such a bad experience. I had zero fun that day, and was happy when I lost the final game that I needed to lose to get kicked out of placement. My friend had the same shitty experience.
A year after, and I only play commander with my friend using cards printed online a few times a month

The entire thing is extremely long but full of SJW stuff. Keep in mind these are war veterans who just battled a cosmic horror that would have destroyed all existence. They are also in many cases hundreds of years old.
