could communism turn africa into a first world continent?
Could communism turn africa into a first world continent?
It's part of why it's so awful. The governments all fail due to that and massive corruption.
has communism turned literally any country first world?
It usually does the opposite
Africa could have done a lot with the Gold they mined over the years, but thanks to Hillary it was stolen and they're a shit hole.
It could stop Africa's population growth.
>could communism turn africa into a first world continent
Zimbabwe is a result of communism you fuck.
>has communism turned literally any country first world?
Arguably Russia.
Russia went from a backwater farming country to a world conquering space-faring superpower in a few decades while communist.
Could a dying person get healthy by shooting him in the head?
>communist niggers
is there literally anything worse?
Somalia was a communist state before it collapsed into an anarchy. Liberals always forget that fact though when they bring it up for some reason.
idk man, china seems to be doing pretty well.
The worst ideology in the world applied to the worst people in the world.
Sounds fucking phenomenal, OP.
Wow that must be the reason why people risked their live to cross from FRG to GDR.
Africa's political state is largely the result of being populated by Africans, so no probably not.
No, it gives you Somalia, Zimbabwae, and South Africa.
What, the first time wasn't good enough?
Well, what do you think?
Same with Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Libya... Lots of Africa.
>Arguably
Russia was still a shithole and still is. Russia experienced all sorts of third world crap. Commodity shortages and such were extremely common. People needed batteries and good pants and such. Government in charge of economy realized the need for tank wheels to repair tanks, most of which would never be built.
No form of government can save any country / continent if it's inhabitants and their leaders do not want to see their countries thrive.
God damn you cucks get buttblasted so easily,
Did I ever say the USSR was the comfiest place in the world to live?
All I said was that they turned an agricultural backwater into a superpower empire.
That part is not up for debate. It's fucking history.
Yes, communism turns everything into the same shit. So if Africa will become communist, it will be no different than America becoming communist. Next question, user.
>superpower empire
>Building tanks and satelites while your people starve to death.
>Buttblasted cuck
It takes a whole lot more than "superpower empire" to be a first world country boy.
China is a "superpower empire" too, but still a third world shithole.
Your post equated a rocketry program to space-faring, and "superpower" to first world country.
Not arguing with history, just false correspondences.
Only a sense of nationalism and becoming tired of the continuous conflict for profit across Africa from an outside influence would do that. Communism never really brought that kind of unity.
It's already turned half the continent into an even bigger hellhole than before. Somalia and Zimbabwe are both end results of communist/marxist revolutions.
Too bad those who want are minority
>first world country
X world country is Cold War propaganda. The USSR and its allies were second world, regardless of how developed they were.
Communism has already been pushed in Africa; i.e., the Derg in Eithiopia, ZANLA, FRELIMO, etc etc etc. We can see how that turned out.
Just take a look at the toll the pink tide had in South America and you will already have your answer.
they're arguably not communist anymore
>Rocketry program
Lel. They built space stations, and were the first to have probes on the moon, mars, and other planets. They were definitely spacefaring.
And they were certainly living first world lives by the world standards of their time. They had TV's, food daily (arguably not as much variety as any capitalist country, of course), medical care, decent housing, and a thriving art and film industry that created world-famous movies, cartoons and, books.
They were first world, at least between the years of 1960 till the mid 80's.
Arguably you could say this has nothing to do with communism, and is actually just because Russians are naturally industrious people, like the Japanese. But they definitely accomplished all this while under a communist system, whether it was ultimately beneficial or not.
