That scene was the weakest point of the entire production and always stuck out like a sore thumb and looked stupid. They fixed something that was never intended to even be that way and only was due to limitations at the time.

It's almost like Star Wars fans are man children. Also major issue with Star Wars was Lucas withheld releasing the originals. Don't think Ridley is doing that just yet.

Ridley is still a hack though. Or senile. We'll never know.

How long 'til Ridley re-edits Alien to incorporate some Prometheus canon into it?

Ridely didn't destroy a beloved franchise as throughly as Lucas did to Star Wars with the prequels.

Nobody buys Blade Runner edits anymore and everyone just watches the original or the original Director's Cut.

Because the changes in Blade Runner are subtle changes (matching lips to audio, using the right head to hide the stuntwoman) and not a SHITTY 2003 CGI ALIEN LITERALLY SCREAMING AT THE SCREEN AND FILLING THE ENTIRE FRAME like in Star Wars
