Ok guys I'm going to stop being an agnostic and pick a religion just in case. Which one has the highest chance of getting me into heaven if there is one while also not making me do too much bullshit?
Also, if I convert to Judaism will I get a good job and lots of money through nepotism or is that only for people who are genetically jewish?
Owen Myers
>Ok guys I'm going to stop being an agnostic and pick a religion just in case do you really believe this works or just trolling?
nobody believes this i think if you are an atheist or agnostic stay that.
Nathan Reed
Worship the One True Goddess, the Divine on Earth, Beauty made Flesh. Let her light shine in your life. There is no heaven, the idea of an afterlife is stupid. Paradise is Her presence.
Brayden Kelly
Why would you want to be in heaven? By most interpretations of the place, you are basically a zombie forever with no free will since sin is impossible in heaven and sin is rather a big component of free will.
Matthew Williams
Won't mean a damn thing if you don't have faith. Religion doesn't work the way you seem to think it does. It's not an rpg character trait.
Brayden Sullivan
You have no free will if you fade into nothing either, dummy
Bentley Baker
You don't have to join any church to get into heaven. Just believe in Jesus Christ and repent for your sins while sincerely trying to become a better person. God doesn't judge us on what we believe about him. He judges us based on our actions and the content of our hearts.
Zachary Lopez
It's not as easy as that.
You can believe in god, but your actions will be judged, believing isn't enough, an atheist that is good with other people, that's helping them has more chance to go to Heaven than someone believing in god who's doing drugs or fucking whores.
Ian Sullivan
What if God actually hates gullible retards and the bible is just god testing you. What if only christtards go to hell?
Robert Rodriguez
I should add that your rewards in heaven won't be that great but you'll pass.
Logan Brown
worship me OP if it turns out I'm actually God I'll let you into heaven free of charge

Polytheism probably increases your chances the most, so go with Greek Mythology.
William Thompson
Any body who believes that God would punish you for eternity for something God already knew you were going to do is a cuck.
The concept of divine punishment only makes sense when its being peddled by evil people, furthering Satan's will, in order to control the week.
If you believe in divine punishment you should be put to death by firing squad.
Camden Jackson
Sorry bud, but (obviously all-knowing) God would realise that the only reason you "believed" was because you wanted to gamble the system to maximise your chances of bliss. Eternal suffering for you!
Gavin Reyes
>an atheist that is good with other people, that's helping them has more chance to go to Heaven
According to certain Christian religions, this is not so. If you do not accept JC, you will go to hell, period.
Jordan Rivera
But why would these ones be the true religions ?
There were more than 560 different religions in all the human history, why would they be right ?
Jack Allen
do jews go to hell in those religions even though they believe in the same god just not in jesus?

I didnt join the church but i do some naturalistic/druidic rituals. I baptised my 3 children in the lake near my family summer home and I do some meditation in the woods. With all the urban infrastructure nowadays its really nice to get out and just commune with nature.
Alexander Fisher
If there is a god (and I've not learned anything to make me believe there is) he is irrelevant. He doesn't reward good people, he doesn't punish bad people, he doesn't protect the innocent or the weak, he doesn't intervene in human affairs in any way at all.
At best, god seems to be an anachronistic leftover from when man was first trying to understand the world around us. At worst, god is a formulation of man's devious attempts to manipulate other men. God is used as both the carrot and the stick, used to make people behave in ways societies deem appropriate.
It took me a long time to decide this about god and no small amount of reflection. I was actually saddened to make the determination that there's no afterlife, no reward for the people that suffer, no justice for the evil.
If that makes me a dirty fedora wearing atheist, so be it.
Owen Baker
Obligatory extended version of Pascal's wager. Remember that even listed religions are not set in stone and your choosen God might or might not send you to eternal suffering chambers for any little thing you missed.

Even if he did not, isn't this the best way to opperate? Live justly and leave a good name for as many people to know?
Robert Ross
The poo-in-loos have some nice ideas in their religious thinking about getting rid of desire (aka suffering) as the ultimate goal. This meshes well with the idea of free will - you do not become some sort of holy slave for eternity, but deconstruct yourself to the point where free will becomes meaningless.
Eli Peterson
You don't need to be a good person. Just make a deal with me.
Robert Foster
Then replace "Marcus Aurelius" with "Some Dude"
Dominic Ross
Far better to choose the certainty of hell and do what you want then live in doubt fearing your every decision might anger this "god " fellow thing whatever it is
