>Season 3 of True Detective will tell the story of a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks, and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods. Ali will play the lead role of Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas.
Anyone else hyped?
Sebastian Wilson
>Mahershala Ali No
Jeremiah Walker
I am forsure but who will play his partner? Pic related is my top choice
Jace Gonzalez
...
Eli Jenkins
everything ive seen him in hes great. i cant wait til this is out. season 2 sucked.
Benjamin Ramirez
>Mahershala Ali
Truly the perfect casting for something set in the Ozarks. BRAVO!
There is literally no setting that should be portrayed as white. From trailer parks in Montana to early settlers they all need to be "spruced up" if you know what I mean.
Like The Dark Tower showed people are just crazy for these blackwashes. It's the hottest new trend.
Camden Moore
>a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods
It's just going to be a rehash of S1, isn't it?
Chase Flores
Uhm... that sounds vaguely familiar..
James Martinez
yea cause one shows about detectives. and the other is about a guy who washing money for mexicans.
Dylan Smith
And there is also two detectives one of whom looks real dark like Mashallah Ali and you see their perspective a lot
Ryan Miller
so aslong as the show has detectives(there fbi idiot) and one is black and one is white then it must be the same show
Aaron Foster
To be fair there are a lot of black people in the south
Julian Robinson
Probably for the best after the garbage that was S2.
Ryder Perez
I had never even heard of the Ozarks until Ozark came out and now another gritty edgy show comes out less than a year later also set in the Ozarks?
Jordan Adams
how would you feel if based mcconaughey return?
Kevin Baker
Same here
Carter Campbell
Give it a good melancholy country song in the beginning and we're good to go.
Ryan Foster
Nic Pizza is still involved? That's surprising considering season 2
Henry Morgan
>According to the 2010 United States Census, Arkansas had a population of 2,915,918. The racial composition of the population was: 77.0% White American. 15.4% Black or African American.
Isaac Perez
Why aren't they taking on Trump like everyone else?
Connor Nelson
I am pretty hyped. Season 1 was GOAT, and season 2 was pretty damn good. Obviously, season 1 and 2 are completely different in most regards, but they're still quality.
One exception: That shootout in Season 2 was FUCKING GARBAGE
Jonathan Reyes
Kek that file name
James Walker
>77% white counts as really white and americans think europe is cucked
Ryder King
Why do people not like season 2?
Is it just because it's not set in the woods / doesn't have rust?
I actually thought it was all-in-all better than season 1 because season 1's finale was so fucking awful.
Camden Cook
owen wilson should have been the lead, maybe co lead. he could pull it off even though everybody sees him as a goofy guy
Gavin Martinez
South is full of blacks and mexicans you dumb nigger
Sebastian Howard
>Jeremy Saulnier directing
Holy fuck. This is better than my wildest dreams.
Xavier Nguyen
>That shootout in Season 2 was FUCKING GARBAGE THAT was their answer to Episode 4's one-shot
Jesus
Luke Evans
>From trailer parks in Montana to early settlers they all need to be "spruced up" if you know what I mean.
Don't forget 18th century France.
Wyatt Anderson
>that cartoon money >that swimming pool that appears nowhere in the show
good show, shit poster
Kevin Collins
agreed
I loved season 2, at least as much as season 1
Aaron Rodriguez
TD Peaked season 1. Season 2 was a good season, but off the back of season 1 it looks bad comparatively speaking.
The fact this is in the Ozarks, and we had a netflix show literally called Ozarks is suspect to me. Like, fuckin WHY.
David Howard
This show flew the fuck under my radar, it's excellent, and I generally hate everything.
