How to become a famous movie director without talent or motivation?

how to become a famous movie director without talent or motivation?

You know (((how)))

money

I'll just do my own amateur flicks maybe one day someone will like them

...

it isn't in your control. free will doesn't exist so either it will happen in the future or it won't. you can't do anything to change that.

Best way is to not be experimental. Do everything by the books and general movie conventions

You can't do anything without motivation, I should know.

As for talent, well there's the Brett Ratner types who know enough about directing to get steady gigs and made it to studio features and stayed there by being yes men, that's probably the route you want to take if you have no innate talent or vision.

At least it is true that man has no control; even over his own will

this, just copy and paste directly from frogposting cliche threads

get picked to direct a marvel movie

Is your family megarich?

Utter bullshit. The human brain can approach an entirely arbitrary object in arbitrary space, and understand it. That is free will.

without motivation can't. With no talent, can. Look at Ed Wood. He had no talent, considered one of worst directors of all time (well, Uwe Boll is close 2nd) and still was famous enough that in 90s they made biopic starring Johnny Depp.

>The human brain can approach an entirely arbitrary object in arbitrary space, and understand it.
trying to sound smart but failing hard. use technical terms if you're going to try to prove free will. you're just using terms you made up yourself, "arbitrary space" lmao

Be jewish or a woman

Talent isn't something you can say you have unless someone else has said you have it. You can't do jack shit without motivation.

need money/((connections)) for a shitty remake
need talent to make something interesting
kind of need at least some motivation to do either

A spec of dust picked off of a table with the tip of your finger is an arbitrary object sitting on an arbitrary object picked out from arbitrary space. No "AI" exists than can do this, and yet the brain can trivially.

>fine motor skills proves free will
how dumb do you have to be to think that is a good argument

nothing on this planet or in 3 dimensions is truly arbitrary in the sense that would make this true. (even if someone did intetpret a 5D structure in another unicerse, they'd still have their DNA as a precondition.) you're equating free will with omniscience, or only omniscience can lead to free will--with which I would agree

>No "AI" exists than can do this, and yet the brain can trivially.
top kek
computers can recognize dust in images. scientists use image recognition for objects of much more granularity. the only limitation of it grabbing the dust is the fine robotics, which is besides the point

Just be yourself

Kill yourself.

No AI exists that can be given an arbitrary object and know what to do with it. All current AI is simply trained neural networks, with predefined guidelines and restricted use-cases. AI doesn't actually exist in the sense of a brain - a neural network trained on images of dust is not an AI.

[spoiled]worship Moloch[/spoiler]

this might come as a surprise to you but there is no right way to handle any object. just because humans haven't yet built an ai that handle objects like humans want them to doesn't shed light on anything about free will

simply follow this handy guide

determinism isn't an excuse to be lazy

>kind of need at least some motivation to do either
this, if you have no desire to make the movie why would you even bother?
Even the laziest schlock director sought out a script, producers to invest in their product, and hired actors or a casting director to do it for them.
That takes a least a little bit of effort.

Ït's that time of day when people redefine free will to be contrarian

1. Be Jewish
2. Have Jewish hollywood connections
3. ?????
4. Profit
