Just out of curiosity, can anybody tell me how many times Shit Trips 1 has been downloaded?
Immigrant? A wiki admin?

How has your day been /who/?

a bit like this

saucy

Gundam Wing's back, yo

Pretty comfy so far. Spent most of it sitting around reading, now I'm just looking for something to do.

Posted my reply to you a bit too late, but it's here if you want to read it:

Not bad, was a nice sunny afternoon when I was out, now it's a cold evening.

That's an anime right? I'm not that into anime but just for kicks, what's it like?
Cool, I got up super late today but it's summer so fuck it. I'm picking some modules for uni and I'm watching the power of the daleks in my autistic marathon of all episodes of who.

what be ye doing on your cold evening

Did you have fun out, it's only 13:35 here in britbong land and I'll probably walk through the park today.

49 half-hour long toy commercials with an anti-war plot somewhere in there.

Getting some shit sorted, have a bunch of family shit over the weekend so i d k how much time I'll have to work on stuff. Then it'll be Monday, and the Twin Peaks finale, I'm very excited. You?

I was mostly running errands, but I did go for a nice walk afterwards, and saw some cute dogs so that was neat.
Listening to an audio on a walk can be comfy sometimes too

>I got up super late today but it's summer so fuck it
I was doing that for the past couple of weeks, but I stayed up all day without sleep yesterday so I could fix my sleep schedule cus it was making me feel pretty shit getting up at like 5pm (pls no judge) plus I seemed to keep missing the times when /who/ was most active

>my autistic marathon of all episodes of who
holy shit good luck, dude, there's a lot to get through. next goal after you're finished all of that, is the super extreme hard mode where you rewatch the show, listen to all the audios and read all of the books and comics in chronological order

>when youre the only moffchad in a room of rtd fans

about to leave for fanexpo and meet barrowman, tate, piper, and smith

fucking terrified, lads

Ooh you'll have so much fun!

I propose that when ST2 comes out, we do a book club twice a week (e.g. Wednesday and Sunday), slowly working through the whole volume front-to-back in short chunks, then discussing/shitposting about them on the day. Tackling the whole likely-200+-page monster will be off-putting for people, I think taking it nice and slow will be more fun.
Depending on how short each successive story is, we might get through a handful on a given day or 1 longer one. I'd be happy to sort out scheduling it.

I just started this summer and just finished Hartnell's run I'm seriously considering starting again (I'll probably miss out the 1 episodes cos they're so recent in my mind) and doing the chronological order run using this site's guide: eyespider.org.uk/drwho/compleat.html. There must be someone who has actually done it out there, what strange mega autist are they and can I reach their level?

Good luck, Edge! I'm sure you'll be fine. They're probably well used to meeting fans that are a bit nervous, so don't worry about embarrassing yourself or whatever. They're all lovely people, you'll be okay, and you're gonna have a tonne of fun, I'm sure of it.

...

Can someone give me a quick rundown of these guys?

I haven't been to a con since my weeb friends dragged me to anime north when I was like 16, wew

I remember being stalked by a really creepy dude the whole time

Do you think Barrowman will get a kick out of my shirt? pic related

Also opinions pls; do I get them to sign their respective funko pops or do I get a picture they provide to sign

Somebody on /who/ was doing all the TV episodes, audios and books in chronological order. I last saw a post by them one year ago, they were on the New Adventures.

I 100%%%%%%%%%%%% support this idea, but I'm a sucker for book clubs in general.

There is someone on Reddit who's slowly been doing it through the years, reddit.com/r/gallifrey/comments/23pxb5/first_doctor_novels_short_stories_audio_and/

I'm planning to start a Classic Who+loads of audios (mayyyyyybe all, we'll see) later in the year, probably October or November so I can try and sync up finishing Tenth Planet with Christmas. When I finish Survival I want to start all the wilderness books. You're suggesting the complete runthrough though right? Be a tricky undertaking, but it IS doable, that redditor documents his progress over the years well.

Trick is whether you will truly enjoy it or find it fulfilling. It's an absolute fuck tonne of content and let's be real, while some of the extended media content is incredible, a lot isn't. But it can be done.

Appears to be a photograph of Jenna Coleman.

I went to a vidya con with a mate earlier this year, that was interesting, got a Kojima signature. I've never been to like a movie/TV/fandom one though. I'd say photos instead of dolls b t w but what do I know.

200? Id guess more like 500-600+

lets do it. offseason anyway, plenty of time

Was I the only one thinking that her and Bill would scissor each other across the universe

Yes.

Im down

God, that site really puts it into perspective about how fucking much stuff there is for the series in general. Had I but world enough and time (heh..), I'd probably attempt such a thing myself, but uni starts up again soon and I'll certainly be far too busy. But I might as well go through Eight's page and fill in the gaps up to the point I'm currently at in his stories - that's manageable, at least, so thank you for the link!

If you give the whole thing an attempt yourself... godspeed, user.

He will fucking love that shirt, Edge. And, I'd say to go with the pictures, so you could get 'em framed and put up on the wall or something!

I'm all for it, user. It'll be good fun.

I am gonna binge ST2 when it comes out though, but I'll totally do the /who/ club too.

I'm still pissed off about the missing episodes.

/who/, what can I do to not be depressed about them being missing?

>world enough and time
That eyespider site though, and any other site like it (there are two other good timeline sites), they're useful and interesting but they're not great for story orders for a lot of things. Like if you listened to 8's audios in chronological order, you'd spoil yourself a lot of stuff and be a lot more confused than if you did it in release/series order.

insert sally sparrow quote about sadness being happiness

Also I think Doctor Who being forever unfinished actually is pretty fitting. Doctor Who can't end, and even if it did, it can't ever be completed, because it's lost so much of its beginning. Endless room for stories! There'll always be rumours about "I hear X found a crate full of X missing episode in X country".

I'm estimating in the 250-300 range because
- Vol 1 was about 180 pages.
- Vol 2 has more stories (I'm owner of the google drive folder where Immigrant saves them all, which is how I know), as well as some entries longer than any in Vol 1, but I don't think it's enough that it would quadruple the page count.

Think about how many countless works of beautiful creativity and expression have been lost to time. This won't make you any happier, but you can distribute the sadness more generally rather than just focus on a kids' TV show.

I'm really considering doing it, I think it could add a really nice amount of variation in just going through the TV show and make each Doctor really feel 'lived in' and not just a guy who is there for 3 years and then vanishes. The only issue is that I'd probably have to miss out on what's not online as I'm a poorfag, which is made even worse by the fact that VK won't accept my fucking phone number reee , and would I pick out specific bits of books like the linked guide suggests? Any run which starts with lungbarrow though is probably going to be fun

Good points! Guess I'll go for the pics, I'll bring the pops just incase they don't have any pics I like I guess.

Oh, yeah, I know. I just meant it's useful for pointing out stories I otherwise mightn't have known existed. For example:
>earth and beyond
>8th doctor audio anthology read by mcgann and featuring none other than sam fucking jones
how did i not know about this?

m f w remembering how much of the Epic Cycle has been lost

Oh yeah for sure, it's easier to see the amount of stories there than on how the TARDIS wiki does its list of appearances

how long would it take though?
Years surely, and by then there'd be more stuff released.

I'm planning on doing a complete Classic Series run in the new year, and maybe a complete Series+audios a few years down the line.

I don't think I could ever add in the books though because I'm trying to get through the New Adventures by themselves and it's taking me ages. Maybe I'm just a slow reader.

Fell grateful that we have high quality audio recordings and telesnap reconstructions exist for many.
I'm more pissed about those episodes without telesnaps. Thank you John Wiles.

I'd be willing to take years if I really enjoyed it but honestly I don't know if I would. I'm gonna have a look at some of the books on the 1st list anyway so who knows but media which I can consume out and about like the audios are easier to complete but books and the TV show do throw a spanner in the works of the idea of getting this completed before I'm fucking 30

If anyone has the video editing skills, there's something that'd be very interesting to see: a side-by-side split-screen comparison of a recovered episode and its Loose Cannon recon from before it was discovered (eg. The Enemy of the World part 1).

>find download for an obscure audio drama
>no seeders

everyone forgets comics. Those are actually a lot shorter to complete, especially if you stick to the DWM stuff.
As I said the problem with the audios is that by the time you finish, there are more released. And you also be dealing with incomplete story arcs and stuff.

Personally I find separate complete Doctor runs might be more manageable.

VK might have it too?

comics I didn't mention because I'm fine for quite a lot of it, I know a lot of good places to get scans so I should be fine.

Truth be told, I have no clue how to properly navigate VK. Any ideas about where I ought to look?

Shit, wait, disregard. Found it!

Nice going, VK is very useful. They get new audios quicker than AudiobookBay too

Do any of you guys on VK have any advice on how to bypass the phone registration for VK, it won't accept my phone number or the free sms online numbers I've used

I just wish it were possible to download from VK, or at least without jumping through hoops if it is, but oh well, at least I'm able to listen to the audios now.

It accepts my Aussie number, are you adding the country code?

I download from there all the time, there's browser extensions that let you do it, but I suppose that's a hoop

I don't mind jumping through the hoops, but I checked for extensions and the comments on a few of them seemed to say they were dodgy, so I don't know. Can you recommend a particular one to use?

Yeah, I've seen a few people in the UK have this issue with newer numbers but my number is like 7 years old now so IDK what to do really, I guess I may just borrow a friend's account but it's still annoying.

VK Universal Downloader on Firefox, however apparently it stopped working last week :|

Apparently "VK Music Download" still works but I've never used it so can't comment

looks like my ex

Gallifrey_Immigrant rn

>watching the episode where Jenna Louise Coleman's character is first introduced

Fuark

She's physically perfect

What did you mean by this?

That second one you named seems to be especially dodgy after a recent update, apparently. Ah well, I guess I'll just listen on the site and hope someone starts seeding soon.

I'm listening to the first audio in that anthology with Eight and Sam, and she convinced him to play that "never have i ever" game (sans alcohol) and it was cute and funny at first, but she just hit him with the "i've never killed anyone" and like, way to go straight for the fucking heart i guess

she won't be able to make that statement in perpetuity, though, so joke's on her

>sans alcohol

Quickly i'm bored as fuck, give me ideas of things i can 3d model.

Just quick little things, i'm still learning but i'm getting better.

I wont be able to do stuff like creatures or monsters, but parts like a cyberman head is fine.

I also wont be making rooms, like Tardis Interiors, as that's a much bigger scale project and i'm already working on one.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

my dick in your mum's vagina

The arm cannister 10's hand was in? Empty perhaps?

the doctor's time ring

>"Never have I ever killed someone"
>"...What are you, a fucking cop or something?"

>yeah, well never have I ever been a blonde hippie bitch who annoys people to death with my incessant greenpeace mentions.

Why did I ever think there would be mature people here?
Working on it
Looks interesting, just a shame there's fuck all reference images.
I'll try after the canister.

Eight's sonic screwdriver! Although it's a bit complex, there's plenty of good reference images available for it.

kek

never seen something so wrong before in all my life

I've tried upping the contrast a lot but i just still can't seem to fully make out that pattern.

Donna Noble taking a dump

RIP, thanks for trying though!

What do we think of Rose's jeans?

bad. i cant people people used to wear that sort of style. at least nine had better fashion sense

Like, what the fuck is going on here?

i think they're cute

C'mon Rose.

I think its time to post this song again. Consistently.

youtu.be/0XMy9WeI_fw

hannah montanna is wearing MY JEANS

shit trips 3 when

Oh, oh, oh whoa-oh
Oh, oh, oh whoa-oh
Oh, oh, oh whoa-oh
She wore those jeans like me

I'm seriously still laughing you posted that yesterday, I hadn't thought of that video in years

COME ON

Some basic progress but progress nontheless

I already have ideas user, but being the resident metacrisis writer I don't want to write one until 13 is revealed and I can make something good. Also I stalled out on a 3rd doctor story and I figure I'll give it time to gestate before I pick it up again.

Ooh that looks just like it! Makes me wanna stick my hand in it!

Billie Piper My Jeans cover when?!?

I wanna play a RTD era DW game reeeee this looks like something straight out of one

>3d
>waifu

I really wouldn't mind a doctor who RPG, it could be done like KOTOR in the sense that you're not x main character just a time lord and still be amazing, fuck I want it so much.

I demand the show brings back the bats!

What's the show without Jasper and Stewart? Not worth watching, is what I say.

Hello Sup Forums.

I heard Neo no longer hates Doctor Who. Is it true? Sounds bizarre to me.

Those ears! :') :') :')

>I heard Neo no longer hates Doctor Who. Is it true?
Fake news. Sad!

what made you change on your opinion?

Ok so I googled this and this kinda exists has anyone played this and can tell me what it's like, it looks pretty neat :cubicle7.co.uk/our-games/doctor-who-aitas/

Where

Immigrant

That's basically just D&D but with Doctor Who, isn't it? Not the sort of game the other user was referring to.
