Dunkirk and Inglourious Basterds

...

Stalingrad (1993)
Downfall
Letters from Iwo Jima

Das Boot
Come and See
Stalingrad
Dunkirk

...

Come and See and Downfall are both incredible. Saving Private Ryan is pretty incredible as well, even if its normie tier.

...

Not that shit, that's for fucking sure

Come and See was legitimately one of the worst films I've ever seen

That one, for sure

One of the greatest war films i've ever seen, maybe even the best

The longest day, period.

Haven't seen Cranes are Flying or Ivan, but I heard they're good shit.

Though it's one of my favorites, I didn't even think about the Cranes are Flying as WW II. Sure, it's a movie about the war, but not a war movie.
Amazing in any case.

Ballad of a Soldier > Cranes are Flying

considering that the original title for this trash was "Kill Hitler" makes even worse

Fuck off Sup Forums

I will check it out

Probably that one

Any answer other than The Longest Day or Patton is wrong.

>Stalingrad gets mentioned
Thank you guys.

The Pianist
Life is Beautiful
Downfall
Das Boot

I haven't seen any other World War 2 film that made such an strong impression on me. The acting was superb.

This may be a contender, but I haven't got the time to watch it yet.

Other good ones

Talvisota
Brest Fortress
1944

If you don't give a damn about historical accuracy and want to see an adventurous ww2 movie with clint eastwood then give kelly's heroes a try. It's where the movie three kings was stolen from.
