do u think arnulds gonna make her girlhood tremble?

Already confirmed.

You have to be 18 to post here.

Hey Arnold is 21 years old and ended a decade and a half ago.

Fuck off, this show was amazing. I may be autistic in saying so, but I owe a lot of who child me was to this show. It encouraged you to be kind, to play things smart and to never hit a crazy person

>I owe a lot of who child me was to this show

Me too user. I loved a lot of other shows, but this was one of the few that actually seemed to emulate real life in a lot of ways while not being disgustingly preachy.

It was never afraid to get dark too, and you are correct. These were real kids in a real city with real problems that you could empathize with. Do you think they'll find his parents?

>underaged b&
>having watched or even knowing Hey Arnold, a childrens cartoon that ended over 13 years ago
You have to be 18 to post here, kiddo.

A dead children's show. Absolutely pathetic.

Phil Shortman you wild

Sup Forums is too slow.

>Do you think they'll find his parents?

Yes, but it won't be as simple as people expect. They'll probably have amnesia or something.

>dead children's show

Apart from the fact that it's coming back in November.

>it's a Harold get's bar mitzvah'd episode

was this a southpark reference?

Was this an Initial D reference?

I've noticed an odd phenomenon with people around my age(22). Most people in my graduating class(2013) relate to shows like Hey arnold and Recess as our early childhoods. And for shows that came 5 years later, like Avatar the last airbender, American dragon jake long, and Ben 10(2005), we still relate with our childhoods, albeit our late childhoods.

But shows like Chowder, Flapjack, and Back to the Barnyard, which came out just a mere 1-2 years after shows like Avatar, people my age see as 'modern garbage' or something that was not for us, but for those younger than us.

It seems like anything that debuted in the 2005-2006 school year was the last to have an impact on our childhoods, while anything that debuted after that school year had little to no effect to people my age what so ever. Anyone else notice this?

Yes, it was maybe a coming of age thing, but I can still go back and watch Arnold and ATLA and enjoy it. A lot of kid's shows after that era get written off as low quality and rely on being random and dumb to be funny. It's not actually the case for all of them, but true for many.

It will suck due today's horrible Zeitgeist

>Anyone else notice this?

I've always thought along these lines as well.

Nah Arnold too pure for that shit. Craig will make sure of it

I really have my doubts, the show was so, SO early 2000's, there's no way being made now won't affect it in some way.

I dont like this.
This was a good show, fond memories.
Theyll only ruin its memory by releasing new material.
Theres going to be some leftwing liberal bull shit in this movie, guaranteed. Theyre going to force feed helga as a lesbian now or some shit, just watch.

Shame on you. This isn't a reboot or new season, it's a completion of Arnold's story arc. It is already affected by being made now, but the show is still set in the past, and even has a montage of old episodes of Arnold helping. Helga clearly still feels a lot for Arnold, didnt you see the webm? Have some faith

>Theres going to be some leftwing liberal bull shit in this movie, guaranteed

Nah. The original creator has complete control and is unaffected by modern shit. I mean look at this clip, does this look any different from 2002?

>Makes a new movie for a Cartoon that finished a decade ago
>A show watched by kids born in the 90s

Fuck, Infantilism is alive and well.

This is a good meme.

>the show was so, SO early 2000's
How? Nearly all of it was produced and aired in the 90s (seriously, before a few weeks ago, I didn't even know it kept airing into the 2000s), and it has a very retro aesthetic. Just because you watched it during that time doesn't mean it's inherently a byproduct of it.

OP is a football head.

...

Why is Nickoledeon filled with footfags?

i just pray they make it good, even just halfway decent will do. was resigned to never knowing the end of arnold's story but if they bring me back up just to push me further down im gonna kill myself

Knowing Craig Bartlett it will likely end with Helga realising that she's moved beyond her co-dependency on Arnold, Arnold's parents will be long dead and Arnold himself will be left in a kind of emotional limbo until he matures further. He will have realised he loves Helga but she will have moved beyond him, finally coming to terms with the fact that her obsession with him is mostly just the result of a toxic relationship with her own family.

The show was never finished. It ended implying we would get the answers about Arnold's parents but Nick didn't greenlight the final movie. Now it's getting the Samurai Jack treatment and there's nothing you butthurt fags can do about it

where is this from? I don't remember the animation and resolution being so crisp

>where is this from?

The trailer for the new Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie.

See

oh snap, thanks user. i'm gonna skip the trailer cuz i want to be surprised by everything, but appreciate the source.

Good way to live user.

...

That's sad. But whatever. A lot of childhoods are sad on a base level.

Real kids? It was filled with cliche's. There weren't even actual dumbass bullies. There were not black best friends.

>A lot of childhoods are sad on a base level.

You're projecting, sad!

It isn't an odd phenomenon.

It's called nostalgia and it shifts depending on who's currently in their 20s.

it's not odd at all. someday people will be nostalgic about shit like attack on titan being aired on adult swim.

Maybe not in your neighborhood.

Why are redditlennials so obsessed with Nickelodeon?

alcoholic mom, satanist dad

i feel bad for helga

>there weren't even actual dumbass bullies

The episode in the OP image is from an episode where Arnold is in a fight with a bully. A good 4 or 5 episodes involve bullies like Patty and kids in higher years at the school beating them all.

>There were not black best friends.

Perhaps if you lived in some shitheap city where race relations are god awful.

So you were bullied mercilessly by a bigger kid who was a complete moron and you had a black best friend? You're delusional. You know that shit didn't happen.

No I lived in a liberal city where there were minorities. No one was actual best friends with a black guy. And the fact that you couldn't even say it happened to you is telling.

You know it didn't happen. Of course I had black friends. Black best friend? No. It's bullshit and you know it.

And the cliche bully that's dumb as a brick is so fucking tired. That isn't reality. Just because they kicked your ass doesn't mean they were stupid.

...

Yep. There were a few bullies like that, but the ones I remember most were named Ryan and Daniel. My black best friend's name was Sean.

Your Sup Forums is slipping.

>And the fact that you couldn't even say it happened to you is telling.

I don't live in the U.S. We don't have black people in our community here.

...

ORPHAN BOY

>it's a grandpa dates 2 middleschool girls episode

>first airs in 1996
>so 00's amirite XD
no.

What's next? Is Transformers and He Man and Thunder Cats so 90's now?

OH, HEEERE CURLEE >:)

My best friend was black. In fact, he's still my best friend.

Helga would be r9k if she was real. Could you imagine the green text stories about her childhood she could tell.

God, I loved Hey Arnold.
Some of the spooky episodes are so cozy. Four eyed jack and the haunted train especially, I watch those two every Halloween.

Steely Phil doesn't play by the mans rules.

Live action Hey! Arnold leak. Claire Boucher as Helga confirmed

Fucking engine 25

little me was scared

its interesting. every parnormal episode ends with proof that it was actually real.

the train ghost
stinky being a vampire
the basement ghost
ghost bride
headless cabbie (the girl at the end)
