>Harf began her career at the Directorate of Intelligence at the CIA as an analyst focusing on Middle Eastern leadership issues. She later became the media spokesperson of the CIA.

>During the 2012 presidential election, Harf helped craft U.S. President Barack Obama's national security and communications strategy, and also served as campaign spokesperson on national security issues.

>In June 2013, Harf was appointed Deputy Spokesperson for the US State Department, where she served as deputy under Jen Psaki.

>Harf attracted controversy for an interview she gave on Hardball with Chris Matthews on February 16, 2015 following the release the day before of a video by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) showing the beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya. In response to questioning from Matthews on the U.S.'s strategy toward ISIS, Harf said, "We cannot kill our way out of this war. We need in the medium to longer term to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it’s a lack of opportunity for jobs, whether…" Her critics ridiculed her on social media with the hashtag "#JobsForISIS," which became a top 10 trending topic on U.S. Twitter.

>In April 2015, Bloomberg News reported that Navy Admiral John Kirby would soon be appointed Spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, replacing Acting Spokesperson Marie Harf, who had also interviewed for the position. In 2013, Kirby had also beaten out Harf for the spokesperson position at the U.S. Department of Defense under Chuck Hagel.

>Harf served as Acting Spokesperson until May 13, 2015, and on June 1, 2015, she began a new role as Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications to Secretary of State John Kerry, continuing her work leading the Iran nuclear negotiations communications strategy.

Gib titties.

don't have. I have a high school yearbook. she was a cheerleader. i could dig it up but it's nothing titilating

what was so shitty about the Iran deal?

Ankara mayor (respect the robot guy) called her "dumb blonde" and Turkey-US had some tension due tothat.

You mean other than the fact we gave a rogue state that finances terrorists, hates America, and provokes us at every turn the ability to build nuclear weapons, a fact even John Kerry admits will probably happen?

she is jewish

>She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a BA in Political Science with concentrations in Jewish Studies and Russian and Eastern European Studies

Career trajectory outlook ...
She has peaked and is on her way out.
Unless Shillary wins that is.

oh and there's this ...
>BA in Political Science with concentrations in Jewish Studies

just a coincidence r-right Sup Forums?

any juicy gossip?

Shiaboos hate America so he probly thinks this is awesome.

She is the dumbest of dumb cunts. As incompetent as the Obama administration is it's still shocking that someone like her could work in such a prominent position.

Can you elaborate what she was like in detail? it's always very interesting to listen to authentic childhood/youth companions

Whoever buttfucked Bagdadi in Abu Ghraib is more responsible for ISIS than the bimbo you went to school with.

It's affirmative action. Women at the higher ranges of ability simply don't exist (Smart and SeXy is a good book listing all the citations for this) meaning the best you can get are those just on the edge, barely capable of meeting the minimum requirements.

Believing in equality means affirmative action means social decay, as societal elite stop being the intellectual elite. Affirmative action is the main reason industry is disappearing from the west

she was pretty left-wing in school and was the daughter of a professor at Denison University

none I can think of at the moment. She was nice but kind of a bimbo.

She was vibrant and very, very nice. Nobody in my class, maybe the whole school, ever disliked her. It was hard to. She may be too kind for her own good. She was straight A's ever since I knew her in first grade and we knew she was always destined for something amazing, whether as a lawyer or in government in general. Like I said, very sweet girl, but not a lot of common sense, very athletic, etc.

I said partially. She helped influence policy and is still doing so.

I know her dad. Old fat funny bastard with a cane that hates gypsies. Total Clintonista, though.

>iran deal
>bad

If you could explain why you don't think it's bad, I'm willing to listen.

i'm betting the whitehouse is full of these young idealistic liberals with no clue

The whole town was like that too. Rich, upper-class liberals. He fit right in. I met him a few times. He was alright in a general sense.

She sounds like a fucking retard when it comes to understanding real foreign policy.

can't argue with you there. There are memes about her lack of insight all over if you google her.

>Ohio
of course you faggots would doom us...

>what was so shitty about the Iran deal?

do you mean the $400 million for hostages or the captured USN sailors?

You think she came up with any of that? She may have been led to believe that these were her ideas, but she is nothing but a pretty face. Just the same cheerleader as before; no critical drive or awareness, only adulation for the Team.

iran is not the enemy

In Iran's internal politics it's a huge victory for the moderates and reformists meaning that 1) the young start to see Ameica more and more favorably 2) the IRGC-military political influence and warmongering suffered a major set back 3) with Iran's economy hopefully improving, it can better counter the Sauds (the real enemy)

On top of that, they were still very far away from developing nukes. I personally believe that they would never have been able to manage that, with the sanctions in place and no access to high quality technology.

Of course it's a loss for the Saudi and Isreali interests, who seek to paint Iran as the evil boogeyman despite of them (well mostly the Saudis) being the real reason behind the ME instability.

>she was a cheerleader

I wonder how many ducks she sucked.

Yeah, I love you too, Michigan.

They're not friendly either.

alright, that gave me some things to think about. The current government is still very hostile and still supporting terrorists though.

Do you get some kind of sick enjoyment when you watch Matt Lee make her cry during briefings?

>There are memes about her lack of insight

KEK ouch

probably just a parrot, incapable of original thought

Not really. I liked her as a person. I just think she's misguided.

>still supporting terrorists
They actually broke ties with Hamas due to a split over Syria (Hamas helped the moderate beheaders and were thus kicked out of Damascus)
Hezbollah hasn't really done large terrorist attacks for years, and they currently act as the main bulwark stopping ISIS from rolling into Christian regions of Syria (Sadad, Mahin etc.) and Lebanon (Beqaa).

clearly I am slightly uninformed.Thanks.

there were rumors

>probably just a parrot, incapable of original thought
pretty close to the mark.

neat. anyone have that picture of her side by side with garth from waynes world?

got you covered

low quality bait

...

>my ex-classmate
wew
