>From a financial perspective, Nevins says Twin Peaks has exceeded expectations.

inews.co.uk/essentials/culture/television/twin-peaks-sherilyn-fenn-audrey-david-lynch/

>If David Lynch wanted to do another season of Twin Peaks, would you do it? “Oh yeah. He said if people loved it he would do another one, and the hardest part is just sitting down and writing it. But he had so much fun this time, he really loved it. And he got to do it the way he wanted to. It’s like an 18-hour movie, so he’s happy. Let’s just stay positive. It really turned out the way he wanted it to in his heart.”

>the suit goes back into the archives, to be worn at a future day, maybe, no idea, keep your fingers crossed

>David Nevins : , “the door’s always open to David Lynch, whether that would lead to another season, I don’t know if he wants to do it,”

Don't eat the clues.

1945
The atom bomb is detonated for the first time. Whether through fear, fire or something else, the gaps between our world and the Lodges are thinned out.

The Experiment voms up a load of eggs. Possibly also BOB - or perhaps he's the dad. Either way, they are connected.

The Woodsmen and at least one egg pass through to earth.

BOB passes through to Earth (or an Earth-adjacent bit of the Black Lodge) at this point too. At some point he will meet MIKE, who will make him his familiar, and from this point on, they will go on their rapey murdery spree up until MIKE sees the face of God and repents.

The Giant and Senorita Dido respond to the presence of BOB, or the Experiment, or both, on Earth by creating the Laura orb. Either it lands in 1974 as Laura Palmer is conceived, or it enters Sarah or Leland Palmer to ready them for that conception.
1956
The Woodsmen have developed a rudimentary understanding of human behaviour and technology. The Experiment guides Abraham Lincoln Woodsman to put the New Mexico town to sleep.

Sarah Palmer (for it is she) swallows a frog-bug. This gives her the psychic abilities/Lodge connecting power seen in the original series. It also allows the Experiment to possess her, if need be. I suspect she was targeted because she had the Laura orb in her, in an attempt to neutralise or keep tabs on her.

(Grace Zabriskie, who plays Sarah Palmer, would have been 15 in 1956 so that more or less fits the age of the girl.)
1956-1991
At some point in this time period MIKE and BOB end their partnership. MIKE cuts off his arm and siphons the worst of his personality/sin into a separate being, the Arm.

Also BOB - now a lone agent - steals the other Lodge beings' Garmonbozia (cf. MIKE's remarks previously). This fucks them all right off.

He escapes to Washington, Earth, where he abuses (probably) and possesses (definitely) Leland Palmer.

GIVE ME TWIN PEAKS BLUE ROSE CASEFILES SERIES RIGHT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

1974(ish)
Leland and Sarah meet, marry and mate. Yes, BOB is probably fucking his mum. Laura the magical orb girl is born.
1986(ish)
At the age of 12 BOB begins his nightly visits to Laura. He seems intent on breaking her down so that he can possess her.

I suspect that the purpose of the Laura orb seen in episode eight was to be a trap for BOB. If he possessed her he would be obliterated. More on that shortly.
1989
Philip Jeffries enters a portal in Argentina, the poor sod.
1991
A lot of people die.

Laura is contacted by the Arm and the Tremonds, who want her to wear the Owl Ring. That will stop BOB possessing her, which will leave him alive so he can be captured and punished at the cost of her life.

Dale from the end of season 2, stuck in the Lodges, tries to warn her across time not to wear the ring but she ignored him, does so, and is killed.

In the middle of season two, BOB, after leaving Leland, is captured by the Black Lodgers and put on trial. This trial is what Jeffries saw in FWWM after entering the portal. present at the trial are the prosecution (the Arm, the Tremonds) and the defence or public gallery (the Woodsmen, the Jumping Man). I also suspect the Jumping Man may have been the Experiment constrained or disguised, based on the way Sarah's face was imposed on his in episode 15.

The upshot of that is that BOB is found guilty and locked up in the Black Lodge for the remainder of season 2 (slight parole when Josie dies). The Missing Pieces version of the scene ends with BOB crawling into the Red Room followed by the Arm.

(Jeffries sees all this after getting lost in time after entering the portal. He also sees Mr C's creation in the Lodge. He escapes to warn Gordon but arrives too early - note how he looks at the calendar on Gordon's desk in despair - and then vanishes again.)

>ywn see Cooper and Audrey have an unexpected pregnancy and him assuring her it's all going to be alright and they'll find a way to make it work
>ywn see Cooper and Audrey deciding to live together in a cozy cabin surrounded by Douglas Firs
>ywn see Cooper and Audrey raise their baby boy Richard together
>ywn see Ben pissed at first that Cooper got his young daughter pregnant but warming to the idea and giving Richard his first bicyle for his birthday
>ywn see Coop being a proud daddy while he teaches his boy about Tibet and tells him stories about his time in the FBI
>ywn see Coop take Richard, Harry, Andy and Hawk on camping trips
>ywn see Coop and Audrey encouraging their boy when he's feeling down or sad and giving him valuable advice
>ywn see Cooper beaming with joy when Richard has a fulfilling life

Does anyone else want to color correct some of this season? Not all of it. Just some scenes that look washed out. It's the only thing that's bothered me.

Friendly reminder that
THE WORLD MOVES ON A WOMAN'S HIPS

I want to fuck that boy

CASEFILES

Don't you forget about me

BOB sees an opportunity to escape when Windom Earle and Dale Cooper enter the Lodge. He extracts Windom's soul and uses it to make the doppelganger, hereafter referred to as Mr C. He then rides Mr C's body out of the Red Room like a prisoner in a laundry cart.
1991, immediately following S2
Mr C and BOB, alternating control of their body, visit the emergency ward. BOB rapes Audrey, who is in a coma; Mr C gets hold of the Owl Ring.

Mr C also visits Briggs, who is spooked and fakes his death. He then goes into partial hibernation in the White Lodge, emerging here and there to do it's bidding.

Mr C also visits and rapes Diane. He then replaces her with a doppelganger.
1991-2016
At some point before 1997 (which is when Dougie has his car crash), Mr C creates Dougie Jones out of a 'seed' and some of his own DNA as a get-out plan for when the Lodge comes knocking. He gives Dougie the Owl Ring either to keep BOB from possessing him, or to ensure Dougie will be transported in his stead (cf. Ray) or both.

I'm not clear on the Briggs timeline but I believe he may have taken Dougie's ring and swallowed it, knowing his death was approaching, in order to lead the authorities to Dougie - either to expose Mr C or because he knew Coop would have taken his place by that point.

At some point the Experiment enters the White Lodge. The Giant summons Cooper from the Red Room and speaks to him across time: "It is in our house now." This could happen at any point, really. Not clear when.

The Experiment also decides it wants to be reunited with BOB.

Mr C becomes aware of the Experiment and wants to capture or destroy it for his own ends, or to avoid it killing him. He uses the money he's built up in South America (possibly by killing Gordon's man in Columbia) to fund the box in New York. It's purpose is to pull the Experiment in from beyond our plane and capture it.

user pls, you somehow managed to make it look so bad

Friendly reminder that Death Peaks confirmed to play in episode 17, they will play "I've Seen Footage", pic realted is MC Two Rides

The phone he used can turn seed into feed (formerly Chuck).

2016
Cooper is all set to return to Earth when the Arm's doppelganger - apparently allied with the Experiment - boots him into non-ex-is-tence. The box, by coincidence draws him in, but as it's not designed to contain him, it ejects him again.

The Experiment, possibly following Cooper, then gets pulled in itself, but is too strong and goes head-munching instead. It will later contact Mr C pretending to be Jeffries and mockingly tell him, "I missed you in New York... Soon you will be back in the Lodge and I will be reunited with BOB."

That doesn't happen, of course. Cooper is deposited in the White Lodge's purple room, where he is briefly threatened by the Experiment ("Mother"), which has infiltrated there, before departing with the help of Naido.

She has set the room's current from AC to DC in preparation for him to exchange with Mr C through Mr C's (DC) cigarette lighter. Instead, he is pulled through Dougie's (AC) wall socket. MIKE destroys Dougie and pockets the Owl Ring.

(A side note: I think it's interesting to observe that there doesn't seem to be any co-operation between the White and Black Lodge's any more. The Red Room lot were going to deposit Coop using a portal behind a red curtain; the stuff about the sockets only came after Coop was booted out into space and pulled into the White Lodge. Also, the Giant spoke to him apparently in secret after summoning him across time. That doesn't mean they're entirely at odds, but they could have different goals or schemes.)

Meanwhile, Jeffries - who may be a kettle, but isn't a bad guy, it seems - allies with MIKE and sets up Mr C to be killed by Ray.

Mr C is also arrested, during which time he deliberately acts weird in order to trick Cole into bringing in the Diane doppelganger, who is to be his inside woman.

The Experiment, meanwhile, has figured out that Mr C is on his way to Twin Peaks and has decided to use the long-ago-ingested frog-bug to fully inhabit Sarah and lie in wait.

Lucy is the most underrated girl in here, but that's because most of you are tasteless brainlets. Who else here knows that she is /bestgirl/?

fake

Bad. Now it looks like all generic netflix indie flicks.

I WAS BORN IN A HOUSE WITH THE TELEVISION ALWAYS ON

I don't love how the digital cameras look in The Return, and some of the color correcting hasn't been the greatest either, but I must say I did enjoy the look of that scene. There's something soft about it, it looks dreamy and almost fake, there's something uncanny about it that I'm sure wasn't intentional but was something I felt when watching it.

Think it worked really well given it is the scene that everybody has been waiting for.

this is a meme right
if mc ride would do a cameo i'd legit start watching this show tho

She has the sweetest voice.

For their part, the White Lodge has remained active, ensuring that Andy and co would be present near Jack Rabbit's Palace (it was about the bunny!) in order to collect Naido once she'd finished being catapulted through time and space, and recruiting Legend Larry Hulk Hands to be her capable protector.

So now we have five parties converging on the town: Mr C, who seems to be searching for The Experiment with BOB inside him; The Experiment, who is inhabiting Sarah Palmer (and may have Woodsmen in tow); the FBI and Sheriff's Dept who want to figure out what's going on and save lives; the White Lodge crew (Larry, Naido, Andy) who have an unknown plan; and Cooper, who seems to have some idea of what's happening and is being guided by the Red Room crew while carrying information imparted to him by the Giant in the White Lodge.

Seeds are smooth and gold. That's just a compact chunk of metal.

My heroin junkie brother watched the pilot with me one time and the only thing he got out of it was that he wanted to fuck Lucy.

YOURE GOING BACK TO MISSOULA!

But I thought we agreed it wasn't about the bunnies.

>i'd legit start watching this show tho
What are you doing here?

>you will never spend the whole weekend watching movies and playing FIFA with tomboy Laura
just fuck my shit up senpaitachi

Glad people appreciate my waifu, but just remember that she is my waifu.

>but just remember that she is my waifu.
Post pics of your gut with timestamp.

The color correction is my favorite thing about the visuals, alongside with the superb framing. You managed to make it look like complete shit.

Where's Pete? Is he gonna show up in the finale?

Just rewached episode 3 from the first season and this conversation between cooper and hawk draw my attention:

>Cooper : Do you believe in soul?
>Hawk: Several
>C: More than one?
>H: Blackfoot legend. Waking souls that give life to the mind and the body, a dream soul that wanders.
>C: Dream souls... where do they wander?
>H: Faraway places. The Land of the Dead.
>C: Is that where Laura is?
>H: Laura is on the ground agent cooper, that's the only thing im sure of.

I have a theory that The Fireman is actually the dreamer, and the lodge spirits are just his dreams.

The phrase : "We are like the dreamer who dreams, and then lives inside a dream", could mean that the all the lodges, mauve zone, convenience store, etc... are located in different dream or existence planes, and dead is one of the ways of "awakening" from the real world and going to the "Land of the dead" in this case, the black or the white lodge.

The reason why i think the fireman is the dreamer that is above all, it's because he sees the events of both the real and the spiritual world in a screen, and because he knows what is happening and what will happen next. He also created Laura from his head floating in the air laying down.

What do you guys think, possible , not possible or totally retarded

Gone fishing

Everything looks so bright and lively.
He's dead... but not wrapped in plastic.

>tfw you go from 4:3 to 16:9

Friendly reminder that it's been confirmed that Eddie Vedder recorded a song that plays during the Twin Peaks finale. It confirms Agent Cooper never gets his mind back. (Pic is evil Cooper)
Listen youtu.be/pXth84G7dkM

The first time I watched Twin Peaks she was honestly the one I was most attracted to desu. Her awkward weird girl thing really got me.

i heard about based mc ride and wrote that post because of it

Andy's wearing a fat suit (the actor and the character - this will come up in the finale).

Finale Spoiler

Carrie Paige isn't a Sheryl Lee character, she's Beverly Paige's daughter who is a prostitute. Cooper is going to save her from the fate the new Renault brother was talking about on the phone in the bar scene. That's why Lynch established Beverly's husband, to show she was married and caring for a family.

I don't think I'm liking the sound of these responses

Why did BOB hide letters under the fingernails of his victims?

You can't explain this

Because he felt like it

Fair enough.
You should watch the show anyway, maybe it's destiny that brought you here.

>Mrs. Tremond and her grandson were confirmed to appear in the new season
>16 hours in there's no mention of them

Either they are set to appear in the finale or they have already appeared in some way, shape or form.

Thankfully I didn't read any of that but nigga learn to use spoiler tags.

>yfw Lynch pulls a real Lynch and turns Cooper back into Dougie in the final episode

Serial killer persona gives an x3 garmonbozia multiplier. But really though, it's because Leland was into that.

She was right there opening the door for Boop.

He was trying to spell his name for shits and giggles.

It's not really a spoiler, just a guess because everyone seems to think sheryl's going to be the character

But he put a T and R underneath the fingernails and there are no ts and rs in Bob.

They haven't appeared yet in any way. I'm surprised that she's still alive.

She was way too young and tall to be Mrs. Tremond.

Robert.

there are in Roberto

She's not Paige, she's Page[/spoier].

Is it future or is it past?

FELLAS DON'T DRINK THAT COFFEE

...

>She was way too young and tall to be Mrs. Tremond.
I meant in the teapot's motel room

>Mrs. Tremond and her grandson were confirmed to appear in the new season
Really? When?

I never really got how MIKE and gerard worked.

the spirit of mike seems to be posessing a human by the name of gerard. Like how BOB posessed leland. But you always see just the body of mike. Even in the lodge and now 25 years later. And he had to take drugs to keep mike away but he still acted like he was mike even when he was under the drug. And as you see in fwwm he is running around and doing lots of lodge shit

Okay guys which characters do you want to see brutally murdered in the finale, for me :

>Lucy and Andy

would be great that now that sarah palmer is going to the sheriff station because of the murder of that guy that both brutally die in a scene where sarah palmer eats their heads without anyone being able to do anything because they are all locked up

>Tammy

Would love to see Tammy killed by evil coop or by a woodsmen, seeing his skull totally destroyed by one of those beings would be totally kino

>The mitchum brothers

I dont care how they die but they should, would love to see their bodies destroyed by falling from the waterfall of the great northern.

BOB said that his real name is Robert in the ending of the european version of the pilot.

Oh, that could certainly be her as Mrs. Chalfont, good catch.

The actress is dead, unfortunately.

What are the odds of David Lynch convincing Michael Ontkean to do a season 4?

Piper Laurie and Joan Chen wanted to be in season 3 so do you think Lynch would work them in into a season 4?

Scene from the original so they can put in memory of Jack Nance

Leaks

That's who I was referring to as well.

>wanting to kill Andy and Lucy
Go be needlessly edgy somewhere else.

>>Mrs. Tremond and her grandson were confirmed to appear in the new season
no they werent

He'd probably work Piper Laurie in somehow, as long as the season would be mostly based in Twin Peaks, unlike S3.

Michael Ontkean would return if they filmed in fucking Hawaii.

>the Sherilyn Fenn interview

I can't wait until the finale hits so that Lynch and the actors can actually answer some questions instead of getting asked the same questions over and over again without being able to answer anything.

you can't deny that seeing both of them die in a brutal lynchian 15 minutes murder scene wouldn't be a really great way to Lynch the plebs in disguise that haven't been lynched yet.

And i love both characters.

"no"

>re-watch s03
>this is good but it's not per-

>Michael Ontkean would return if they filmed in fucking Hawaii.
Harry and Jacoby in Hawaii subplot when?

>season 4
no ty

Jackrabbits palace. It is about the bunnies

>which characters do you want to see brutally murdered in the finale
Chad.

Whatever makes you happy.

Cringe

sorry but it's happening regardless of what you want.

Also, why being afraid of another season, why do you hate change so much, if the new season suck, who cares? We will still have 3 great seasons.

>if you enjoy literally any sweet aspect of twin peaks that isn't weird black lodge shit then you're a pleb

>I don't want more of a good thing
user, are you g-g-gay?

are there any streaming alternatives besides weebcrew? last week they streamed it, it was filled with 30 second ads each 5 minutes

>it's happening

Nope. It's not going to happen unless Lynch and Mark want to.
