This is the greatest movie trilogy of all time. You literally cannot refute this

This is the greatest movie trilogy of all time. You literally cannot refute this.

third sucks

Only the second one is any good

>Back to the Future trilogy

It's not a trilogy

3 movies =/= a trilogy.

Joss Whedon is credited as a writer on the first film, though I suspect that many of his contributions were cut or changed.

What is the third one in that pic? With the 3 on it

your face sucks
second is the worst imo

Toy Story 2

>Clears throat

Second one is not that good.

Sorry, kiddos. This one takes the cake

LotR is a shit movie and you know it

As far as I know, that's pretty much the case. Before The Avengers happened, Joss had a bit of a reputation for being a whiny manbaby who complained a lot about how other people "ruined" almost everything he'd worked on; I think during one of his interview rants he admitted that only one line of dialogue in Toy Story was his.

I only saw the first one. I didn't like it. Felt like it was trying to be "2deep4me" but it was just empty.

This. Nothing else really comes close.

>11 Academy Awards
>According to Kubrick, it was "impossible to film"

I-It´s shit and you know it!!!

1>3>2

My god... when and why did this board fall so low?

let this meme die with some dignity

That's the perfect rank

Braindead.

2>1>3

Lord of The Rings
Apes reboot
Raimi Spider-Man trilogy
Dark Knight Trilogy (even with Rise)
Original Star Wars

Are all better

Prove me wrong

>Lord of The Rings
Two Towers
>Apes reboot
Kek
>Raimi Spider-Man trilogy
Third one was mediocre
>Dark Knight Trilogy (even with Rise)
Dark Knight was the only good one
>Original Star Wars
Most of Return of the Jedi is garbo.

worlds end wasnt very good.

Nah. The third movie is a mediocre retread of the second.

It shares the same timeline, characters, etc. as the Hobbit films, so it's no longer a trilogy.

>>Raimi Spider-Man trilogy
>Third one was mediocre
Try terrible

I mean kind of but at the same time not at all. I see what you mean but it's completely different. It's not like Force Awakens level.

...

It could have been good. I liked a lot of it. Way too many plots going on. I teared up at Harry's death in theaters.

Not related, not trilogy

>Dude contrarianism lmao

KACHOW!

All three are terrible

It's not going to be a trilogy for much longer

The arrogance of that third poster. They didn't even need to put a title. They just know you know.

Shaun of the Dead is overrated and Worlds End is ok but not brilliant. Hot Fuzz is an all time great though.

Three was just a shittier copy of two. First two movies are classics though.

C O N T R A R I A N
Two Towers is regarded by many as the best of the trilogy so I guess that's why it sucks?

The Matrix trilogy is unironically the best of all time. Refute me bitches.

fucking this, any reply denying it is simply wrong

>Dark Knight was the only good one

I love LOTR but Two Towers is the weakest of the bunch, being the middle chapter. The extended cut is much better, tho.
Anyway I think the most universally agreed on as the best one is the first one (and rightfully so).

Crystal skull was a fever dream I had and did not happen as far as I care to remember

Indians Jones 5

LALALALALALALA I CANT HEAR YOU

It's a self-contained trilogy, you don't need to watch the Hobbit trilogy to understand them. Same with Star Wars' original and prequel trilogy. They're mutually exclusive.

based af

It should have ended at 2. Andy should have stayed a kid and remained pure.

They all sucked.

Most of the kids who watched Toy Story 1 were becoming young adults when Toy Story 3 released. It was a necessary send-off. It taught that all good things must come to an end eventually.

though that message pretty much is moot now because of Toy Story 4

>second is the worst
Neck yourself

>moot
who?

The third Toy Story is just a copy paste of the second one.

And the second one is just a copy paste of the superior first one

I just watch all of them and I thought Two Towers was the best. 2>3>1 imo

2>1>3 for all trilogies.
Prove me wrong.

I think you got it in the exact opposite order. Care to explain why 2 is the best one?

*ehem*

any of you lads watch toy story 3 on bbc this evening?

Back to the Future Part II is complete garbage.

Prequel Trilogy and Lord of the Rings
1>3>2

That's the most plebian shit I have ever heard.

u ever see cars 2?

>Back to the Future
>Lord of the Rings
>Raimi Spider-Man
>Nolan Batman
>Star Wars Originals
>The Godfather

A kids' series that's mainly popular because of nostalgia is not the best trilogy of all time. Kill yourself OP.

Loser trilogy

Yeah. You're right. The original Toy Story was so successful because of nostalgia.

you're serious, aren't you

>Back to the Future
2 and 3 are mediocre
>LOTR
contender
>Raimi Spider-Man
3 sucks
>Nolan Batman
3 sucks
>Star Wars
Contender
>The Godfather
3 sucks

< The actual best trilogie.

for you

Not him, but 2 is great. It has the best battle scenes and still has the feeling of adventure with the plot of Frodo and Sam that 1 had. Best of both worlds. Although I personally enjoyed 3 more because of the conclusion and "you bow to no one" is my favourite line in film.

1 is great but certainly the weakest. It has some bad looking CGI and there are no real big battles. Don't get me wrong- they are all great films. So for me personally it is 3>2>1. I can understand why someone would have the exact reverse or any order though.

>>The Godfather
>3 sucks
Sad but true. They should have just kept it as two movies.

Unironically this

1- All the characters are assholes and is visually hideous by today's standards.
2- Super comfy and before Pixar became conceited. Nearly all jokes are on point. Definitely the best of the three but a feels a little short.
3- Pixar self-felatio. Humor not as good as previous movies. Ending is supposed to feel endearing but just comes off as awkward and kinda creepy.

I don't like to just reply with "this".
But this.

>Fellowship is worse because no big battles
FUCK YOU. FotR superbly establishes Middle Earth as a setting (feels like a real place, establiashes well the Tolkien mythos, you get acquainted to the lore in a pleasant fashion, the music is not only amazing but also contributes to the world building), has a great sense of adventure, great moments (Shire scenes are comfy as fuck, Nazgul feel fucking terrifyng, the Elrond Council, Moria, the ending, etc.), and it's visually gorgeous, with a more natural and organic feeling than the subsequent movies in the trilogy. Also, TTT an ROTK would feel worse and would be less intense and emotional if it wasn't for FOTR fabulous foundations.

Honestly, I just see LOTR as one big movie, with each movie representing an act. I don't even see the point in putting one above the other, since they are basically just continuations of the last movie each time.

I don't think that counts. Those movies aren't connected storywise.

It's a trilogy, so it counts.
BTW, nobody has posted Leone's Dollars Trilogy yet, which deserves to be considered as a contender as well.

It is a trilogy.
Yeah huh

cornetto trilogy are you fucking retarded?

NIGGER TRILOGIES DONT NEED TO BE SERIAL FUCKING STORIES. KYS FUCKING KID FAGGOT WATCH MORE GODDAMN MOVIES REEEEEEEEEE.

Agree !!!
