Jew symbolism on our groceries?

As I was toiling away at the supermarket that currently employs me, I happened to notice something interesting today (pic related). We sell Vlasic brand pickles, which of course bear their cartoon mascot on each jar's front label. But what struck me was that while most of their varieties have an image of the mascot biting into a pickle, on their (((kosher))) pickles the mascot is holding a pickle up in the air (away from it's face) while giving a thumbs up. What is the significance of this?

Pickles are for goyim.
