What the weakest dc rebirth books so far? And which book you most disappointed with?
>weakest books Action Comics Detective Comics Batgirl Batgirl and the BOP Batman Beyond Blue Beetle Justice League
>Most disappointing Batman All Star Batman
Asher Nelson
holy shit, we have the exact same taste in books op.
Henry Brooks
Cyborg, Justice League, Batman Beyond, Blue Beetle and Harley Quinn aren't worth the paper they're printed on.
Luke Ward
>Batman >All Star Batman >weakest books
Ryan Watson
Add Suicide Squad and Green Lanterns to weakest books and now we're talking
Joseph Roberts
Green Lanterns, Wonder Woman, Blue Beetle are disappointing
JL is just straight up bad
Blake Phillips
Oh and Supergirl
Shame Lupa isn't the main artist
Charles Thompson
>weakest Justice League
>most disappointed Batman
Christian Ross
Same hat. The Batman line has really been the most disappointing part of Rebirth. I'd also say Flash was a weak one, but that may have turned around with the last issue. Wonder Woman and Green Lanterns were disappointing, too. My most anticipated books were Detective Comics, Blue Beetle, Wonder Woman and Green Lanterns. Rebirth hasn't been good to me.
Owen Hughes
Action Comics? Seriously?
Adrian Adams
Blue Beetle picked up this week but christ, Giffen needs to shift into high gear.
Angel Harris
I agree. Remove Jaime and but Michael on book and have timey wimey Multiversal adventures.
Bentley Rogers
>Weakest Action Comics Justice League Suicide Squad Birds of Prey Batman Beyond
>Disappointing Flash All-Star Batman
>Ridiculously overrated by Sup Forums Green Lanterns Green Arrow Red Hood and the Outlaws Titans
Nicholas Scott
>Ridiculously overrated by Sup Forums >Red Hood and the Outlaws This book is loved everywhere tho.
Christopher Jones
>six issues of Superman punching Doomsday, while Jon and Lois watch it on TV, talking about Superman punching Doomsday
It's so bland and generic that it's offensively mediocre
Brody Gonzalez
The Superman line.
Chase Rogers
All Star Batman
Samuel Murphy
Like me..
and see WW with Steve
David Reed
The Batman line is worse. I'm not enjoying any book that come out from The Batman office.
Kevin Gutierrez
If we don't count the minis, everything except for Deathstroke. I mean, there are a lot of readable books, but none of them manage to blow my mind away.
John Bailey
ITT: Characterfags.
Simply unpleasable.
Mason Johnson
Nah. Give Jaime something interesting to do, take Ted off, and bring in Booster and Rip Hunter for a separate Blue & Gold Rebirth. Everyone wins.
Isaiah Moore
Mourn harder fan of Superho.
Levi Perry
Are you enjoying Bendis, Slott and Hopeless drone?
James Richardson
Try reading other issues, it's gotten better (and you'd have loved that story if you were a kid, admit it)
Christian Flores
Congratulations. Another camouflaged Mouseketeer thread.
Nicholas Cox
I remember Johns praising the bat office and their books to the moon when someone asked him about rebirth.
I guess it's true that no one should listen to what Johns says.
Jackson Sullivan
I hopped on Batman because Tom King is my first departure from being a characterfag. I don't know why others are disappointed with it, while the first arc was a little drawn out I found it quite entertaining. Monster Men was fun and had interesting designs, and I Am Suicide is looking to be cool.
Daniel Cruz
You have Johns to thank for the continual push of Duke too, I guess.
Praise be to the the Cereal King. :^)
Jason Edwards
Characterfags are actually fans of Rebirth. It doesn't take a lot to please them.
Chase Wood
Literally this. They are the ones who mostly enjoying Rebirth.
David Moore
Get ready to bash me for my shit opinions!
>Books I like Detective Comics Titans Green Arrow Deathstroke
>Books that I hated Action Comics Green Lanterns Suicide Squad
Parker Gonzalez
>>weakest books Justice League (JLA is tanking hard ... BETTER PUT HITCH ON THE FLAGSHIP TITLE!)
>>Most disappointing Batman (how the shit is this the same guy who wrote Vision and Omega Men??) Wonder Woman (I loved Rucka's older run and the OGN before it! I loved Black Magick! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED??)
Noah Jackson
No, it's not.
Logan Clark
Sorry that we don't like Batman turned to a transgender in the name of diversity. Enjoy your crap Marvel shill.
Landon Cruz
>>Most disappointing >Batman >All Star Batman Hah no.
Isaac Barnes
Yes, it is.
Batman, All Star Batman, Detective Comics, Nightwing, Batgirl books, Batman Beyond are all have been freaking disappointing.
Cooper Johnson
>oh no someone doesn't like batman? They must be marvel shills!! Freak off. I don't even read marvel and I if cared for diversity, I would have enjoyed Tec.
Carson Parker
At least they're not complete garbage like Superman, Action Comics or Superwoman
Carter Ortiz
Superman is really great, it just had a drawn out first arc because of the 6 issue first arc mandate DC had. Despite that it still managed to have some cool moments like Lois in the Bat-Armor. Issue 7 and onward is great.
Colton Smith
I don't think superman is a great book, but I'm definitely enjoying it more than Batman.
Gabriel Stewart
Batman is much better though.
Cameron Stewart
It's literally not, user.
I do have hope for the "I Am Suicide" arc tho.
Henry Price
It really is, user.
Jack Wright
Each to their own.
Chase Brooks
Man, Batman Beyond and Harley quinn are my favorite characters. And was right. It's like, we have a bunch of people writing comic books these days that aren't even fans of comic books. Or at least the characters. We have 40 year old writing modern teenage characters and a bunch of other hacks that just don't understand why the characters were so beloved. It's a shame really.
Charles Edwards
>all star yeah i agree >batman are you out of your mind
also >weakest >detective comics, action comics
shit taste op
James Hughes
>liking detective comics, action comics >mocking other people's taste
+ minis: >Midnighter & Apollo >Sixpack & Dogwelder >Vigilante
+ other DC: >Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye >Flintstones >Future Quest >Lucifer >Scooby Apocalypse
Jace James
>weakest books Action Comics Detective Comics Batgirl Batgirl and the BOP Batman Beyond Blue Beetle Justice League Cyborg Harley Qunin Suicide Squad Titans Flash
>Most disappointing Batman Nightwing All Star Batman
Easton Scott
Superwoman is by far the worst Rebirth book.
Brody Cox
So when is this being updated now that Cyborg is going monthly?
Liam Russell
>Cyborg is going monthly It did?
Isaiah Parker
>mfw still no good Jaime Reyes BB reboot
Cameron Lewis
It only has one issue solicited for January
William Barnes
When will we see the first cancellation and what will it be?
Cameron Flores
Well, that was fast.
Did it really do worse than Aquaman?
Easton White
What I've read >Batman >Detective Comics >All Star Batman >Flash >Wonder Woman >Green Arrow
Dropped all but Detective Comics. Is Superman any good?
Jackson Myers
Superman had an OK first arc, but I've really enjoyed the last few issues. Same with flash, that story felt both rushed and drawn out. But the issue that just came out was solidly good.
Blue Beetle is a mess. Batman Beyond is mediocre, and superwoman is "eh" tier
Adam Cook
>Weakest Justice League, Blue Beetle, Nightwing >Dissapointing Batman: King came in with a lot of hype and has completely failed to deliver. Wonder Woman: Way to decompressed, it's good, but this was another Rebirth book that was hyped as "must see". Now it's a trade waiter.
Sebastian Reed
But user, every title you dropped (except for Flash and occasionally WW) is worth reading.
Angel Stewart
>Did it really do worse than Aquaman? Aquaman is the best Rebirth book.
Kayden Jackson
>Is Superman any good? Superman is family fun character development. If you are into that, it's great. I personally rate it as my second favourite rebirth book behind Aquaman.
Mason Fisher
>BB starts as a masked superhero >Then is a magic superhero >Then is a regular superhero >Then is an alien superhero >Now is a magic superhero again What next?
Liam Nelson
Aquaman is underrated IMO.
Ayden Myers
I just want my fucking Captain Marvel comic, is that a crime?!
Get your head out of your ass, DC.
Noah Lopez
Monkey's Paw, user...
Connor Price
My rebirth power rankings >Pulling 1. Aquaman 2. Superman 3. Titans (Wally fag) 4. Flash (Wally fag) 5. Wonder Woman 6. Action Comics 999. Justice League - I shouldn't be pulling this >Off pull list, reading in story times 1. Green Lanterns 2. Cyborg >Dropped completely. Not reading 1. Suicide Squad 2. Batman 3. Blue Beetle 4. Hellblazer
>Exceptions Supergirl, Birds of Prey, Nightwing. The former two didn't appeal to me, although that doesn't make them bad. Nightwing looks like it would be more beneficial to know who Damien is and the Court Of Owls (I've never read batbooks before).
>Waiting for 1. Supersons 2. Cap Marvel
Camden Brown
.... Fair enough. God only knows how they'd run it into the ground.
DC would be like those people hacking off their nose to spite their face.
Ryan Lee
>and I if cared for diversity, I would have enjoyed Tec. Nah. I'm all for diversity, and I appreciate a lot of the pushes for it. Tec is dogshite. I wanted really bad to like it, but it's boring schlock that's "modern Marvel on a bad day" bad.
Ryder Fisher
Kate Leth would write a mini-series about Mary Marvel
Gavin Sanchez
Why are all these people trashing batman? Tom King is great. I really enjoyed the gotham girl arc. I hope in my heart he hates monster men as much as I do.
Mason Jones
>Why are all these people trashing batman I dropped it after the first arc. The detective work was bullshit, the character Gotham changed issue to issue, he brought in the JL just to have them job, he teased big things on the last page of issues but then never followed up on it.
