Because anime that have genderbending is usually a show that is 100% dedicated to fanservice and even makes from of the genderbending MC for the majority of the show. The MCs are also usually prone to extreme moments of embarrassment and are usually more modest and self-aware than their female counterparts. Not to mention yuri-pandering is always off the charts.
