You can tell alot about a man based on how he treats animals. Animals are after all, the pure innocents of this world. A man who abuses animals is a filthy degenerate. A man who protects animals is someone with an innate moral character to them.
Consider pic related. The Mountain Lion. An Apex predator big cat species. Alone among all the Great Cats, the Cougar is a species of least concern. No risk of extinction. Why? Because it is endemic to the United States. In an advanced industrial economy with a strong hunting tradition, there is no risk of an extinction for the Cougar, and yet Lions, Leopards, Tigers, and the rest are being eradicated.
And its not just the Cougar either, though its the most marked example that speaks strongly about American culture in general that seeks to preserve its natural heritage even as the Africans and Asians eradicate theirs.
