How popular is your country's sitting leader?
How popular is your country's sitting leader?
Depends. Some people think he caved to RINO Republicans and Democrats on immigration the other day.
Not a lot
probably an all time low
this will be our next prime minister
unbelievable, how does he do it
>49%
bullshit
>comparing popularity ratings between 2 party system and actual democracies
I think Macron is at around 35% right now, which was to be expected.
Rasmussen gives Trump slightly better numbers, but Trump's numbers regardless are on par or noticeably better than many other current Western leaders.
>Peña Nieto 26%
I think it's far lower
Of course they are higher, you have a 2 party system.
FAKE NEWS
Nieto should be around 10%
He was about to hit single digits a few months ago
ours resigned just 2 weeks ago
I thought Canucks loved Trudeau?
gtfo pejezombie
the mexico one is outdated and also bloated but non of that matters because based AMLO will win by landslide and kick out the globalist
>49%
LoL
You know its true, I can dislike both El Peje and Pena Nieto you know?
kys
this is kinda misleading. at a first glance you'd think his popularity is rising
>49%
Among republicans?
The color coding is pretty clear though
Which is fucking embarrassing
This. Support is much more polarized in the U.S.
The president has around 70% positive appraisal and 10% negative appraisal.
The prime minister has around 45% positive appraisal and 15% negative appraisal.
I'm basing this on polls conducted in September, after politicians had a massive popularity drop because of the huge forrest fires of last summer. It should be a bit higher right now.
trump 49? sounds too high. embarrassingly high. i thought it'd be 30ish by now
btw, our government and parliament just barely breaks in even in appraisal (there is only a small positive margin) and our judges are actually more disaproved of than approved of (they had 15 NEGATIVE points on the popularity polls).
Trudeau has lost the support of many men across races, and lots of white women as well. He isn't winning a second term, not even a minority government.
Not really scheer is a harp*rite zionist and the the ndp is shifting too much to the right. Trudeau is going to win easily.
You're out of touch if you think the public cares about Scheer being pro Israel. What they do care about is the SJW insanity under Trudeau.
He got elected with 39.something% of votes.
>you're out of touch
>SJW insanity under Trudeau
Eh oh el. He's a centrist you hyperbolic stooge. You want to talk out of touch? Consider the fact that Scheer is debating running under an anti pot banner.
Multi party means multiple ways to split popularity.
> Consider the fact that Scheer is debating running under an anti pot banner
I don't think Scheer will choose that hill to die on. Also look at reddit Canada. Used to be 95% pro Liberal/Trudeau, now it's an anti Trudeau haven. If lefties like reddit are saying he's gone too far then the general public must agree.
>trump
>49%
>
>Consider the fact that Scheer is debating running under an anti pot banner.
lmao
I know a Canadian girl and she said Trudeau is the best thing to happen to Canada in the last 2 centuries
This poll was from before he said he didn’t care about due process.
He won't. Mark my words. As a card carrying Tory most people I speak with are pro pot legalization for the amount of taxes it will bring in.
>As a card carrying Tory
how horrifying
>reddit as a political barometer
Are you a literal child? This is reaching even for you. Consider the fact that Harper is hated to an even larger degree in the real world. Guess who's running on a carbon copy of his policies and brand? Guess that's another hill Scheer has chosen to die on.
>as a card carrying tory
OHNONONONONO...pfffthaha
Tell that to your senators and mps then.
We should abolish the senate. And I have already spoke to my MP in person.
by american standards trump's rating is low, should be in the high 50s/60s
You're completely out of touch, as points out.
The best example I can give is my province, Kwuhbeck. The local (provincial) Liberals, which are in many ways fairly close to the federal Tories, are waging an anti-pot war right now in the most pathetic way you could possibly imagine, despite the fact that NOBODY in Quebec gives a rat's ass about "l3 w33d", and objectively it's clearly made them less popular as a party. Yet, despite this, they stubbornly continue on this insane crusade. This is despite the fact that they've spent their entire political careers pushing for moderately progressive social views (as opposed to the "backwards separatists", according to them), as well as their entire political careers pushing for Quebec to be no more than an administrative subdivision and for Canada to have the right to force Quebec to accept such laws (which shows how fucking hypocritical they are now that Canada is actually using that right for something they don't personally like).
Basically, never overestimate your politicians. They're more retarded, out-of-touch and prone to their own autistic crusades than you might care to think.
> tfw no radical centrist party
>Rasmussen
Lel nice cherrypicking fag boi
>Rasmussen
No. He has 80% approval rating among Republicans, and it's actually risen over the past year. Republican Senator Bob Corker (who is retiring after this year, and is the guy that said that Trump was acting like a infant and risking getting us into WW3) said that his popularity among Republicans is why they aren't speaking out when he goes on twitter rampages anymore, as the base is more tribal and their biggest question in party primaries is whether they support him or not.
He's been getting polled consistently around 37-43% among registered or likely voters by near-all of the past year.
His “I support police seizing people’s guns if they get tips” and ignoring due process definitely didn’t gain him any republican support
EL CUbanO
why have you forsaken sino
/sino/ needs a few weeks off user.
And this is the Japanese-American
Really really unpopular, like if we were brown she would have been overthrown already years ago
Probably decently popular. She never says a word about anything politics, the only impression she gives is as a calm, good leader, and she can maintain her popularity just by doing nothing and watch the opposition make themselves look much worse in comparison.
Is she unpopular to the point where Comrade Corbyn could become PM? I don't follow British politics closely but I know that a couple of years ago it would have been unthinkable.
why can't we all have a nice leader like that
ramussen is run by breitbart
But we all have several potential leaders controlling parties in parliament while you essentially have a two party system making choices limited.
>Basically, never overestimate your politicians. They're more retarded, out-of-touch and prone to their own autistic crusades than you might care to think.
Career politicians are usually not very smart people, most of them are lawyers in it for money and power and they're also often highly ignorant of STEM subjects.
>he thinks anyone cares about le SJWs
This. If they were smart or competent they would have stayed in the private sector to make their money, but most of them are neither of those things and wouldn't survive in business.
And now you see why Hillary Clinton was rejected at the ballot box. The absolute living embodiment of a crooked career politician.
77%
Low. Like 35%.
Not very
Obama's in his final year was like 47%, and that was despite him getting Saddam Hussein-like approval numbers from the 13% of the U.S. population that blacks make up.
>Low. Like 35%.
Not even CNN says that.
surely you meant 177%
Even if he plays fair in the election, the world will keep seeing him as playing unfair. Good bless you, Rusbro.
I think it would be in the 60s if polling/media outlets were honest and not owned by the DNC.
How many people don't openly go "yeah I'm a Trump supporter" but still voted for him because being anti-government in general is popular among modern Republicans or because for a good while we had roving commie gangs attacking anyone who looked conservative in cities where citizens can't carry guns to defend against a mob? Shy Tory Factor is definitely real and played a part in the 2016 election.
For the foreigners who don't elect decent leaders. It's a shame Trump wasn't as strong on the 2nd Amendment as he claimed, but he's doing a good job otherwise. Congress needs to go hang, though.
You put an "o"?
I think the "x" was the universal symbol.
>all polls
>implying polls of 1000 people near a California university matter
No, but it shook out to more like "if you think he's immediately about to shoot up a school, get the guns first and then do the paperwork", it wasn't exactly a guiding policy position, what hurt him more was not thumbing his nose at the liberals and howling "SHALL NOT" when they demanded gun control.
Because Norway is irrelevant and its leader is irrelevant. Their leader does nothing just like they do nothing, because Norway will never matter.
Do you have a hobby? Then yes, you care about SJWs.
>sports
>guns
>vidya
>nerd games
>literature
>comic books
>movies
All of these have been targeted.
Quints confirm! Clinton was successful not because she was smart (she could afford smart people in her employ), or because she was rich, but because she was willing to be more corrupt than anybody else and not bat an eye at things like murdering dozens of acquaintances and friends in "suicides and small plane crashes", or redirecting Haiti relief funds into paying for her Foundation's minions (only 10% went to benefit actual Haitian people), or befriending child traffickers.
DELET
>It's a shame Trump wasn't as strong on the 2nd Amendment as he claimed
Reagan wasn't either, but...
Ohio alone is sufficient to crush you.
Macron must be at 40% now if you aggregate every polls, mainly because of all the (unpopular) reforms going through.
But no opposition is above 25%, so, meh.
for a people who supposedly are authoritarian and follow our leaders blindlessly our leader sure has a low approval rating
