Why are millennials such disgusting man children?

Why are millennials such disgusting man children?

>Gen Z
>Self-reliant

nice copy pasta

This
They're literally all still children and teenagers

Gen Z will be more fucked up then us. 80% of them want to be YouTube celebrities.

>Gen-Z
>Innovative
Progressive and innovative don't mean the same thing.

>19 year olds
>Any of those adjectives
l m a o

I go to community college with a bunch of gen z people, they might be even more ignorant and brainwashed than Millenials (who are also all pretty much degenerate and stupid)
Unless you are independent, guarded, reserved, or a loner, you don't stand much of a chance against indoctrination in the world of ubiquitous govt/media influence.

they just need someone to shit on and blame shit on.

and since most of the people actually bitching about this are baby boomers they will gladly pass the blame to whoever it can stick too.

I hope I don't live to see 40 year old Gen-Zedders blaming 60 year old Millenials for the Youtube bubble bursting and putting them all out of jobs.

Gen X for best Gen

...

Whatever.

...

You are absolutely correct. Generation Z has experienced the bulk of 21st-century cultural marxism and soon we'll all be seeing the effects of it.

Gen Z will be ultimate red-pilled generation
Millenialcucks have never fought in war but Gen Z will see the 3rd great war

Early Millennials fought in Iraq and Afghanistan you faggot

>only generation in the west without a conscripted war
baby boomers had vietnam and korea, the golden generation had WW2, the one before that had WW1

> and korea

No. That's clearly wrong.

>millennials
>30yr olds
Does sage even work anymore?
Fuck you CTR, fuck you.

Yes, 30 yr olds are millennials

This article was written in 2001, for instance

>gen z has yet to prove itself
>already calling dibs on those titles/characteristics

Oh boy are those ignorant fucks in for a surprise

Because my parents threw me into day care and public school so they could pursue the careers that were making them unhappy. This taught me to be cynical about the world and destroyed my frame of reference for selflessness and perseverance

my sister is 17 right now and she's a literal communist. she wants the rich to have "their money taken away" and genuinely believes billionaires have all of their wealth in paper note form that they can access at any time. she's always had friends and has always been popular

my brother is 16, used to be /r9k/, but has done a 180 and now has a job and good plans for the future. he's a social reject and everybody at his old school fucking hates his guts even though he avoids them like the plague

the majority of gen Zers are going to be in for some serious shit if they don't grasp how the real world works before they head into it. mark my words. mass suicides by 2022.

figs'd

Precisely the reason why the term manchild exists

Only men have to man up

Only men have to fulfill their gender role

But now that we have the internet, we can see its not worth it, since women use our tax dollars just to not have to act like women

> Gen-Z
> positives

I'd tell you to kill yourself but threatening a minor is something only a Gen-Z would do

It's literally what the Millennials think about the Bommers. Every gen is supposedly better than the former, when actually we are all pieces of shit, 16, 30, 60 years old, pieces of fresh, stale or old shit.

Generation X here.

Got fucked over by the boomers, but we all thought our slacker asses were going to be handed to us by the Millennials.

Those traits in the infographic ascribed to GenZ are what we were told you were going to be like. Douglas Coupland's "Shampoo Planet" etc. You were given everything and I still can't quite understand how you managed to fuck it up quite this badly.

You're so fragile and resilient it isn't funny. Adult millennials couldn't even today survive the kind of verbal shit you got from teachers (never mind kids) in the average 80s high school.

So, some silver lining for poor ole GenX, we are the first generation not to suffer ageism in the workplace.

>man children
who invented this stupid term and why you using it on Sup Forums
go to reddit with that crap

"Unresilient" obviously.

A generation literally without coping skills. You never even get as far as having to problem solve so I have no idea if you are any good at that part of it or not.

I honestly don't know what you are talking about, all the kids that went to highschool after me are much worse than any of us, don't study, don't do homework, barely assist class, smokes and drinks alcohol more than their parents, no respect towards anything, doesn't care about anything that is not their phones. Shit, me, a fucking neet have more social interactions since I don't look at my phone 24/7.

Is like they are still teenagers.

How the fuck could the generation raised by the internet not become even more fucked up than the previous one?? Because you know all of these issues are because of the internet, right?

Generation Z literally don't even know how to use computers. Their experience with software has largely been through mobile devices that don't promote modification/creation. They've been conditioned from birth to passively consume information and nothing else.

The truth is, we're the last redpilled generation.

Well, as someone else will point out if I don't, complaining about teenagers is as old as civilisation. Lots of Roman and Greek complaining on record.

Millennials are the first generation in history as far as I know to be thought of as weak and pathetic. That is without precedent. Its more normal to be intimidated by the vigour of youth, not mourn its absence.

If GenZ really are "self-reliant", "self-aware" and "persistent", Millenials are utterly screwed. The jobs they finally get in their 30s will be taken away before they hit 40.

Unfortunately, this. I am old enough that I grew up without the CONSTANT influence of the internet and distractions of smartphones. Remember when people used to, you know, speak to each other in person? Not just between the best of friends, but strangers would start a conversation.

The upcoming generation literally does not know how to interact with other people. See Japan for a sample, but it will be even worse.

The old have always complained about the youth's arrogance and different, new opinions. However what we are experiencing now is without precedent, a generation raised by instant gratification. (And no, TV was not instant gratification) The effects will be disastrous.

As a millennial it irritates me when I'm with someone and they are rude towards older generations for trying to be friendly and have a harmless conversation. I get that there are some weird and bad people out there but that shouldn't take away from those who are just trying to be genuine and connect with another human. They typically have something really cool to say or advice that some of us could benefit from.

I always reply to them and talk for a long time. It is nice, you know. Must fucking suck being old and now no one wants to talk with anyone, when it used to be beyond normal.

I was watching music TV the other day, in 2016 there is no music that couldn't have been released in 2006. And relatively little that couldn't have been out in 1996 (the American delay on discovering "EDM" remains a bit odd, maybe its because they didn't have the BBC Radiophonic Workshop soundtracking their childhood on the cheap with synths).

From the 50s to 2000s (ish) there was always a new youth culture constantly emerging. Teddy boys, rockers, mods, hippies, glam, punks, new romantics, grunge, etc.

Millennials haven't got any ideas because they can't think of things for themselves. Theres been nothing. Millennial youth culture is basically whatever older people tell them it is.

So much for "never trust anyone over 30".

Just the other day I was at George Webb's at like 4 in the morning and a gentleman came up to mention how me writing in cursive is cool because they don't teach it anymore. He then went on to say I should look up hobo code because it's a neat thing to know. I would have never known about this if it weren't for a little friendly interaction. Nothing creepy about it, just being human. And I love listening to what the older generations have to say. Everyone has a different perspective of things so hearing different stories from a time that I didn't get to see for myself is neat. My generation is too prideful and snobby to enjoy these things

The other 20% will do a great job tho, I guess.

That's why we had to come up with the "Millenial whoop" which we didn't even create. It's terrible

I disagree. In 2006, most of the popular music on the radios was emo. Now, it's electropop and rap.

This is an actual thing. And it is why there are so many remakes, (Movies, games) and retellings instead of creating something new.

I like how all of these "millennials" generalizations and the overall generations theory is strictly specific to the USA middle class, yet people all around the world use it to justify themselves and insult others.

2006 was right at the apex of change. Smartphones were arriving soon, and internet was becoming more and more used. Do not expect the current musical trends to change for a very long time. (like they haven't)

The Millennial range seems to big for me, but I can tell you this, the generation raised by smartphones will be the worst generation that has ever existed so far.

Worst in what way?
Not in computer literacy. Not in ability to quickly access any random piece of information and research. Not in ability to plan meetings and read online maps. Not in ability to make social networks and have connections with people.

Its always trade offs, never straight loss.

This is bullshit mate, Gen Z is just as bad as the Millennials and we all know that

Agreed.

Why don't we ever talk about Generation X, the slacker generation that has thus far coasted through life and avoided every major set back that any generation before or after them had to suffer through?

What do you guys think about this; my brother is kind a smart he goes to college and shit. (Generation X)
And me, (Generation Z) has learned a lot of how to world works from my brother.
I've been a loner for a long time and do not actively use social media.
Am I still the stereotype Generation Z person?

It's not the Boomers... It's those Gen X faggots, bro. Quit playing their game.

There is a frightening passivity.
Ask a millennial what they think, they'll ask you what they should think.

Probably why "SJWs" appeared. Has nothing to do with social justice but it is a lot of rules.
I find it very strange because in the 90s the big thing was being tolerant (in the sense of not giving a fuck what other people did, said or got up to) and "don't put a label on things". 90s liberals would have been pretty offended if you'd described them in terms of specific racial and sexual identities.

Millenials love to put labels on themselves so much they are constantly making up new ones (we're up to 54 genders apparently).

Gen X really had it rough with Panama and Desert Storm. 1 leik = 1 prair

Honestly, from what I've experienced. Gen Z is far worse than the millennials. FAR worse. All the technology available really makes them the polar opposite of self-reliant.

Kids are idiots. Every generation has said this shit about the one that comes after them.

GenX activist: The government needs to stay out of people's bedrooms and people's pants.

Millennials: The government needs to monitor everything we get up to and have an accurate list of whats in everyone's pants.

I'd work you into the ground you prissy little faggot.

all those buzzwords on Gen Z were used to describe Millennials at one point

>I'd work you into the ground you prissy little faggot.

You're just proving my point.

Well we are moving towards a guaranteed minimum income, as in every single citizen of a state will be given money each month for being a citizen of the state.
I think it will be implemented in some of the developed countries before 2030.

So communists seem to be modern and with the times, and my taxes seem to be going up to pay for low quality human material to keep existing.

I'm a 19 yo computer engineering student. Born DEC 96. I don't identify as either x or y.you can't generalise like that.

My keyboard is broken. I meant z

The 0.1% needs to be purged.

These generalizations are made for the american middle class, not for us balkan turks.
Stop misusing them.

>the best among us must be robbed
Why?

>0.1%
>best among us
Rothschild and friends have robbed people more than we could ever take back.

And no goy, you will never, ever reach that spot, no matter how hard you try.

Insults are not arguments, friend.
Nor are the worst among us fit to judge the best among us, so it wouldn't make sense for you to tell who is worthy and who isn't.

What you should be doing instead of spitting up is arguing that we need a new metric to determine who is worthy, not that we should rob those deemed worthy.
