Not enough fuckin'.

needs more fanservice

sexist

The same we think about China copying everything with shitty quality. We laugh at them.

I think it's hilarious how a superhero hentai parody has better fight choreography and action scenes in it than real superhero comics.

I think that braveman is the greatest hero of all time

While this one is good for what we wanna get out of Power Girl

Pic related has felt like a good X Men

Also some user brought it up in another thread a while back but Tiger and Bunny was a serious version of Mystery Men with the whole heroes with sponsorships

That's because a hero is as good as its villains

To be fair, it wasn't hentai at the beginning. It was a legit superhero stuff until...you know, the manga was axed and the author mad as hell started to do "doujins" about it.

Is that the actual title Braveman? Cause it looks like a decent spoof

Title is "Zannen Jokanbu Black General"

Zannen Jokanbu Black General.

Just got to chapter 3

Its like Batman got stuck fighting Across

Galaxy angel was like a comedic superhero team,But they almost never used capes,Does it count?

they have done them years and its called masked avangers genre

Leave,please.

Generally much, much better than American capeshit.

...

...

>that doujin where Ranpha grew a dick and fucked Forte

There is an episode where Forte turns into a man and Ranpha falls in love with Her/Him.

I should rewatch it.

...

The girl is a lesbian superheroine.
Her wife is cute.

This is pleasing

Take that U.S.A.

...

>The doujins are translated now

My main problem with japanese cape stuff is the extreme individualism (or should I call it extreme love for the main character?) that reduces the "japanese cape stuff" to "standard japanese stuff".

In cape when the hero struggles with a situation he retreats or its beaten, then they look for help of other characters or look for a plan to counter and then try again.

In Japanese works they always succeed even against all the odds, and in the few cases they fail, they just return on their own with renewed determination and succeed.

In other words, they just punch things, when they look like they are going to lose they punch harder, and in the case they actually lose they just come back punching even more harder. That really limits the situations making it boring on the long run.

There is no progression, no actual struggle, no real interaction with other characters, no plans or tactics, is just the main hero being the main hero.

At least that's how it feels to me. Still I enjoy them, like I enjoy other Sup Forums related stuff, not saying that its bad but it feels completly different to actual cape material.

They've been doing superhero stuff for a while now

>My main problem with japanese cape stuff is the extreme individualism
>extreme individualism
>individualism

To be honest their romance was really cute.

Being mind controlled into raping your crush by a parasitic alien cock is cute?

That's what I'm talking about U.S.A. can't handle that kind of romance well.,Japan can make any kind of love cute.

its funny you say that
everything i've watched for anime almost NEVER fucking has team fights, its always 1v1 because the situation calls for it.

This a huge problems with US cape comics, most action sequences suck donkey balls.

...

He said what he really meant which is his issue with too much focus on the MC which he feels reduces it to standard Shonen shit.
I'm not sure if he used BnHA as an example though since the writer atleast tries to make it seem like more than punching solves the issue and while Deku is the MC the other characters definitely have their own drives while working together as a unit.

There are 3 new chapters on sadpanda
With lots of fucking.
Literally the only case where an author releases his hidden porn stash.

It is too late for me.

in come the weebs

better than ours half the time

>mha
>1pm

that fucking ending...

Better than a lot of american capes.

They've done westerns pretty brilliantly too, pic related is a one-shot called Emerald and I recommend it to anyone here.

I don't know when a splash page of two guys floating in the air pretending to punch each other became an acceptable substitute for actual fight choreography but that shit has got to stop.

Used BnHA simply because its the Japanese hero themed manga I enjoy more. But it has the very same flaw. As you say, at least it tries to look like there is some teamwork, but in the end not much more than other battle shounens.

Then again, not saying that is something bad, only saying it (Japanese cape in general) feels like other manga, they never feel like comics.

Japan has the advantage of a /slightly/ more creator-friendly industry, so while they've still got a lot of problems to deal with they don't have to shorten or edit their storylines to fit into whatever event comic or crossover is coming up next, and the shonen-jump anthology mags mean they don't need to constantly generate controversy with idiotic stunts like Hydra Cap to boost individual title sales. Overall it's a lot more focused storywise.

Also you don't have to worry about the artstyle on the book changing.

can sentai be considered cape thing?

Thing is when you don't get many revelations in an issue, you got many people around here complaining that the story is too decompressed.
And a fight takes a few pages at least to be done well.

20 something pages a month are not enough to tell a story and make great fight scenes. In American comics, they choose to hurt the fight scene rather than simplifying the (not very complicated) story.

Did somebody watch this?

>the manga was axed
Ah fuck. How many chapters were released? I was legit hype for this series to take off and eventually get animated.

>Boku no Naruto that saw the avengers on cinemas Academy
The author is a smart dude, shitty ass manga but thanks to the capeshit popularity it's doing so well.

Probably thinks CW2 is the best thing ever.

I liked it.

I'd say he's right at home.

>it will never be translated

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's been translated for like a decade and it's fucking amazing.

Can't remember the author name but his stuff is always solid.

He isn't wrong. Though its sexist to both genders. The men are bland textureless losers with no strong opinions, the women are generically nice damsels in distess that jump on your dick if you white knight them hard enough.

The only interesting characters are side characters, and they never get any focus.

Not really. They were selling the porn versions at the same time.

There have been a few in that series and they've all been translated.

Learn to sadpanda.

True love can beat anything?.
Also she can have babies with her waifu thanks to her powers.

>Learn to sadpanda.
Where do you think I got these reaction images from? Believe me I looked and this doujin I'm posting isn't translated.

Better than almost anything being put by Marvel and DC, including Young Animal and Future Quest tho.

Everyone talking is talking about stuff like Boku and OPM, but is no one going to mention manga like Zetman and Guyver?

Then put up a bounty for it

Interesting interpretations of characters that could easily be canon

Here you go, same premise but almost certainly much better:

Scarfshit

>100 year old virgin

Every time.

Yeah that one is a classic.

>Carol Denver

GAYS.

Japan knows what people want, they don't care about SJW they shit on them.

It is completly translated, it was "Axed" but author had time to finish the story. In a rushed way cause it was axed, but at least he could finish, is not one of those sudden cancellations where story just stops, he was given enough chapters to finish.

Sure? I think in Japan the last chapter was already out when the first doujin came out. I could be wrong, but I remember seeing the dates and doujins came later.

>Japan knows what people want, they don't care about SJW they shit on them.

*Japan knows what people want, they don't care about SJW, they shit on them.

Zetman was something that should never be even mentioned. There is only one worse thing than Zetman and that is Zetman anime.

SEE? I'm right.

...

I did. I really enjoyed Samurai Flamenco. Too bad the low sales killed the studio.

I enjoyed the ballbusting, that turns me on.

Guyver was pretty fun, but I haven't read the manga yet.

They always do it.

He is also a massive westaboo

When you say "Sentai" do you mean Super Sentai or just Japanese live-action superheroes in general?

How does Sup Forums feel about Japanese artists working for DC Comics? For example, the artist of pic related, Ricken, now works for DC Comics.

Is it irony that the anime/manga scene supported Marvel the most, and yet Marvel has turned away completely from fanservice, something that anime/manga still fully embraces?

what the hell are you talking about? scarlet order ending was a disaster.

>How does Sup Forums feel about Japanese artists working for DC Comics?
I fully support it. I love Ricken.

What capeshit has midget bullying?

opm

Lady Justice was full-on wasted potential despite having Stan; the one-shot was okay but the serialization was just clothing damage ecchi jokes

Haven't tried Heroman yet, despite having Stan too

I love how japs really like Spidey. He really is a lovable hero

>Is it irony that the anime/manga scene supported Marvel the most

Yeah, Marvel is the most referenced in anime/manga of the Big two, with few exceptions (Batman short anime) DC never made a big push in Japan like Marvel did.

It's because of the tv series.

On the good side they have far better fight choreography than 99% western cape stuff, there's tangible plot progression, way better fanservice, and more consistent characterization.

The bad side nowhere near enough art style diversity, they also have the everything happens in Tokyo problem, and it does tend the main character who does all the shit

...

Capeshit originates from:
-Boyscout morality (find people and help them)
-Traditions of vigilantism/citizen's arrest/self-defense and stand your ground laws
-High urban crime

None of which Japan has.

Instead, they have:
-Clan ties (family, workplace, government) not civic ties (anyone in front of you because of belief in equality)
-Absolute government authority in matters of crime
-Very few muggings or purse snatchings to activate their non-existant boyscout instincts; instead they have quasi-political gangs collecting taxes from businesses they run or blackmail.

Funnily enough, Japanese crime is just as centralised and collectivised as Japanese justice.

Not much room for caped crusaders.

Marvel has made a big push in Japan at
least since the 70s.

There was Spidey manga and tv show, high quality Capcom games,..
