Italy outraged

>Italy's latest campaign to reverse its falling birth rate has sparked an angry response. The health ministry has produced 12 posters in the run-up to the country's first fertility day on 22 September. Health Minister Beatrice Lorenzin announced state-sponsored events informing people about family planning. She has warned of a birthrate "apocalypse" if more Italians do not try for children.

>One of the campaign posters shows a young woman holding a sand timer with a phrase saying: "Beauty has no age. But fertility does." Another shows two pairs of feet poking out the bottom of a bed alongside the message: "Young parents. The best way to be creative."

>The campaign though has backfired, with critics branding it an insult to those who are unable to conceive. Best-selling author Roberto Saviano wrote on his Facebook page: "It means, simply, hurry up and have children: you don't have a stable job? What does it matter."
>"You are not certain that your partner is the right one? "Come on, procreate, do it lightly, for where they eat two eat three."

lol
how is western world not lost

>Since the 1960s, Italy's birth rate has halved to 488,000 babies born in 2015. Last year experienced the lowest birth rate since Italy united as one country in 1861. Also hindering the Italian birth rate is a youth unemployment of 35 per cent. Many young people are choosing not to have children until they have secured a stable job, economist Elisabetta Addis from the University of Sassari told the Local.

>Speaking of what could help turn it around, Professor Addis said: "A ‘baby bonus’ might help families in financial distress but there is no correlation between giving out money and the birth rate, but there is a correlation between the range of services provided and people having more children.
>"Having children is a long-term project. Schools could be kept open until 6pm, freeing up a woman’s time so that she can work, and there should be continual help and assistance while the children are young."

we have sorta the same shit here too. I personally disagree to the message too especially when we all are poor and mid crisis

And what exactly is wrong with this making criticisms?

Governments are being really retarded.

First they spread corruption and economic instability, import crime and hostility from foreign countries, then get angry for people not wanting to have children in such environment.

You can't make people have children and be happy, but you can make the environment suitable for that.

Politicians are completely retarded and devoid of any logical thinking.

poor italian boys and girls who just wanna have fun and not take responsibility for the future of their country

but I guess they can always import more migrants

very small group that is very vocal.

This is not news.

>Ex-yugo calling any government retarded

Fuck off you anime posting scum

Well, he would know, wouldn't he? I'm not sure how you think this hurts rather than helps his argument.

>I don't want kids, I can't afford them!

This degeneracy is MADDENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Individualism is fucking cancer. Libertarians should be mutilated in the streets. Liberals should be shot against walls. They are literally destroying our species.

t. Tyrone

Not being able to afford is a legit claim, i feel it's split though.

On one hand you get people who clearly have the money but can't afford a child because the new iphone is out next month, which is pure degeneracy and infuriating.

On the other hand there's folk like me, More than happy to start having children now, (i'm 24) but i have no finiancial income at the moment and no way of paying the costs of bringing new life into the world. (also tfw nogf)

The campaign is full retarded and the ministry is retarded too.
Obviously the message is right, as we have low birth rate, but it's too direct and puts the blame on people (the worst thing you can do is putting the blame because they won't do anything in response).
The good thing is that the campaign triggered our rabid feminists and made them melt down.

>"Is it fascist propaganda?"
>"hurr durr I don't want to have kids"
>"I am a woman even if I don't want kids"
>"Omg Beatrice, resign now!"

>"A ‘baby bonus’ might help families in financial distress but there is no correlation between giving out money and the birth rate, but there is a correlation between the range of services provided and people having more children.
I think this is a good idea actually. Baby boomers can pay for the next generation. They exhausted the global economy and hope to retire just before it all comes crumbling down.

I get what you're saying, but I still feel like most people that are poor are still clinging to some level of creature comforts that they could still do away with. If people only had children when they were comfortable economically, there would be no humans alive today.

Yes, it is extremely hard now because society is so degenerated and corrupted. But people need to stop thinking of themselves and perform their duties to society. Have kids and fight for change that puts families first in our countries, and not dead last. Self-sacrifice is what is missing today.

>Germanistan
>calling any other retarded governments out on their bullshit

Weird adds. They should've focused on cute babies instead.

>russian satellite state #0815

talk to the hand

>"It means, simply, hurry up and have children: you don't have a stable job? What does it matter."

But its not a problem when shitskins sit on welfare and pop children out every year

Which one? The brown one or the slavic one?

Oh agreed, You can't have a child and expect to live your life as if nothing has changed, i'm merely saying there's being poor and not wanting to give up what little you have, and then there's being poor where you can barely survive yourself, nevermind raise the child in a loving and healthy environment.

In the UK when a child is registered at birth it legally becomes government property, so no matter how dogshit poor you are if you make babby you can get a house and all bills paid for you until the child turns 16 (or possibly 18). Sadly people have perverted this and used it not as an incentive to produce new life but to get a free 18 years of money, that increases the more children you spawn, and they always end up being low rung council house scum that probably won't work or take very low grade jobs.

This is the reason i haven't made a babby yet becuase i want to raise a child in a good environment and have a head start against the shit tier children and immigrant children.

the brown one, you have to be reminded whose hands rebuilt your country, feed your children and keep your economy stable.

The economy always was stable, just shit.
and if it wasn't for you hans we wouldn't need rebuilding.

Voglio scopare le ragazze italiana

>excuse this Americans attempt at speaking Italian. Im still leaning.

that gay part is top kek

Honestly the only solution i can think of to raise birthrates is to tax the ones who can afford it if they dont ie the rich.
The more assets they have the more kids they ought to produce.

>those who are unable to conceive
giving shit about a miniority

>Roberto Saviano
guy who promotes his stuff saying that he is threatened by mobster giving advice on job stability

WTF is wrong with Iturko cu.cks

>MARRY AND REPRODUCE
>implying that's bad advice
I sure am glad to have seen straight through THEIR lies.

Incentives will go down sweeter than sanctions, plus forcing people to make babby on fear of being taxed is impossible because of human rights / bleeding hearts.

In a perfect world the family man and woman would be the height of prestige but unfortunately is being shit on by kikes and SJW types.

Said it in another thread yesterday, I'll say it again:

Women are just men-lite. They have no incentive to have kids because they can work and be independent and since women are the only gender that can give birth it leads to the current situation.

There is absolutely no doubt that most western men want to have children but they are faced with two problems:

(1) Women don't want to marry down. In the current conjecture of equality men and women earn about the same. This leaves only men at the top to pick from a very large pool.

(2) Since women are just men-lite, they have no desirable traits for a man to make a family. They sleep around, they focus on their career more than anything, they have no traditional housewife skills such as cooking or ironing.

Basically as long as it is favourable for females to be independent the birthrates will continue declining.

(Notice the contrast with muslim families, but that doesn't mean we should espouse Islam like some retards here propose)
