This is why houses can *sink* several centimeters from when they were built. Now with a 40 ft concrete wall it would simply make it impossible to dig underneath with shovels

Blocking that big ole three thousand mile border won't do a thing. It's not like an enormous border is significant or anything.

We could just build a moat along the wall, water pumped from the Rio Grande. Doesn't need to be a particularly wide moat, just a very deep one. Any time they try to dig a tunnel there will be a flood risk.
